This seems like it's going to be the focal point of contention for a lot of people, but there are a few things that need to be considered here... and I'm speaking generally here and not directing what I'm saying to you, domore...
First, even at 1.5 servings, there isn't going to be that negative effect on hemodynamics that would occur with other novel stimulants; working with the vasodilative effects of caffeine that occur during exercise, this formula will actually serve to
not increase blood pressure.
There is also mixed evidence as to whether or not it does cross the BBB (however weakly), and non-existent affectation of the CNS isn't necessarily a bad thing when there are ingredients that do do that.
There are also the proposed thermogenic and metabolic effects of the ingredient, and, as a catecholamine analog, there is a sympathomimetic component here that critics are overlooking. The direct effect on the CNS isn't needed.
We're allowing the critics (and again, not you specifically, as this is something you've read elsewhere) to roam free at the moment because they dissect formulas well and hone in on single parts of a formula, but once the user feedback begins, we'll see where they stand then.
After all, haters came out in droves when Craze was first released, too.
