cuz i know you give all the
effort you can my friend, 117% worth, day-in/day-out.
see, that's why i was excited for this 16-week gig, since it's the longest prep i've ever attempted, i totally figured i could be show-ready at 2 weeks out, just do minor tweaks heading into show day, and i was expecting to feel MUCH better day-of-show.
and reality is - that is the most logical and best possible scenario to follow. if you allow yourself enough time, so you don't have to pull out all these tricks and schemes at the end, which have just as much chance of backfiring as they do of working successfully.
maybe one day, i'll know what proper preperation is like.

we were well on our way here, when the life got sapped outta me and killed my training, and then i had momentary weakness and veered off course from diet for a minute..
no tricks for me this time. i mean, of course i'll alter water/sodium intelligently (nothing crazy), and dietary choices will be tight and spot-on structured, but that's about it. show or no, i'm not doing anything crazy for any reason.
