Jay breaking PRs with Intimidate and HGHpro

Awesome weights and volume bubba! Starting to see some gain too...nice.
 
Drank like 3 gallons of eggnog in the past 4 days, after I finish this half gallon jug I'm going into rehab.

You are gonna be hurtin tomorrow after the DB presses! It hit me HARD last week and thats the only thing I did differently in the past few weeks. You are using so many more muscle fibers for control and stability, that's why I like to stick with 8-10 reps instead of going too heavy. Got 95s for 4 sets 0f 10 last week so I am confident in getting the 100s without issue.

Holy Crap!!! You have some great lower body strength! I think you might be CRAZY :stupid: for doing squats AND deadlifts in the same workout. Keep hitting hard, you should be lifting insane wt when you jump into M-1P!

Any thoughts on Intimidate? And how is sleep & recovery with HGHpro?

Most noticeable thing so far is I feel more motivated to lift heavier. Sounds weird but I used to get nervous before going for a max(Slightly worried about getting injured) and a lot of times I would decided not to go for it last minute, but lately I haven't had that problem.

Sleep is really good, sleeping through the night normally.

Recovery is slightly better, probably from the sleep. I'm normally not sore the next day after I work out so I think my recovery is naturally pretty good?
 
Day 21 - 12/28/11
Today is a day off.

A lot of my family is at my grandparents house for Christmas/New Years and I've been teaching 5 year olds how to ride bikes. I have been ran over three times, it is awesome..
 
It's always fun teaching kids new skills. I've taught my nephew and his lil friends how to water ski, taught my brother & sister how to snow ski. Just love their expressions when they accomplish something.
 
Yeah, it was definitely entertaining. Especially since the only girl I was teaching was the first to really ride and all the little dudes got pissed.

can you give us some more insight to the results you're seeing?
My sleep has definitely gotten a lot better. I usually have a hard time sleeping through the night, lately I rarely wake up and there is a lot of people here who'd usually end up waking me up by talking.

Strength is going up and we'll see how much next week when I go for PRs.

This morning I weighed 162.4 up from 161. Without getting it tested, my BF% is a little bit lower than when I started. I'm actually surprised about this because I lived off Eggnog for a few days.

Biggest thing as far as recovery goes is I'm feeling less tired during my work outs.

My cleans are so much better than my jerks. 280 is my PR for Clean & Jerks, but the clean is easy and the jerk is so hard. I decided to pyramid back down to focus on form since I haven't did much of them lately.

I still play in a pretty competitive league in LA, but it is fun finding weaker opponents to dominate. We have our first match next Sunday so I gotta get my squats in tomorrow so that I have plenty of recovery time.

I used to be pretty good but now my game play is pretty mediocre.

All I did was deadlifts and called it a day. I realized afterwards I should have gone for a PR tomorrow not today. Opps. So tomorrow is going to be Traps/Shoulders

Pulled 445 with straps. Definitely happy about that, not sure if it would count in a competition since I was like shrugging it for the last 4 inches pretty much lol.
