haha, I squated yesterday for the first time in over two months, yeah buddy! cant wait to do deads again soon too. and power cleans.

I dislocated my thumb yesterday though, so I might need a few days, haha.

goodluck on that lean bulk, mine has taken a long time but I am gradually leaning out and gaining, but its slow as heck. 3 pounds of gain over 2 months but a ton of visible leaning. and lifts and muscle measurements going up. Its hard to get the diet dialed in right, but I have no doubt youll get it bro.

quite honestly this is the kinda strength I have always wanted. The strength I like is the strength be STRONG. Sadly, I have always been doing slower movements and working on the ability to HOLD weights. Now I need some force generation so I'm working speed and force generation with a lot of my lifts. Thus the incorporation of the oly lifts. I hope to pull 405 from the floor in 8 months. And front squat 275.

Noticed the transaderm did give me mood "kick". Feeling better. But I can tell I'm retaining a bit more water... Well I'm not a physique competitor and I am kinda on lean bulk now. So I guess it's okay. I'll be adding pics and cal count soon. :)

We are in the same boat man. I started Transaderm 5 days ago. I already notice a better sense of well being, appetite increase, and aggression. I'm also up a couple lbs in water weight, but I just switched to more of a lean bulk so its all good ;)

First time doing front squats, I must say I have to get the form down on just holding the dang bar.... I use the cross over grip. Definitely feeling new muscles being taxed on the stability.

Good workout today. didnt sweat much but its getting cold.

Not sure if its because its cold but my nips are starting to feel some sensitivity. As a precaution I lowered the dose to 4 pumps, added calcium di glucarate as well.

Kinda worried as I dont have a SERM and the recent research industry removal of research SERMs has me a bit concerned...

Other than that mood is up, aggression is up, and so is libido. Gotta head off to a speech contest my students are entering so today is going to be another hard day to get in my food.... sigh lol.

I cant eat anything at a restaurant that's fried, and in Japan (as most would find odd) everything that is 'ready to do' is deep fried. And in flour... even if the oil has flour in it I cant eat it... Soups, everything is pretty much inedible. I cook everything... complaining yea... haha Ill stop. Anyway, Im looking to gain strength and any thing that I can do to fix my poor digestive system.

Love the Roman Deads lol. Im going to do 315 on them one day! haha. That'll bring up my power clean numbers for sure. Off the floor im pretty damn strong. it's the middle of the second pull that im a little weak. Hopefully, my cleans go up regardless lol.
 
Roman Deads = Romanian? (Kind of like a SLDL but you the motion starts from the top and bend down to 90 degrees)?

SLDL you actually have the bar further out in front of you while the roman dead you ride it on your legs.

One works the pull for the clean movement and the other works the movement for the heavy "crane" like deadlifts that power lifters use. Both are accessory exercises for another movment. The SLDL taxes mostly the lower back, while the roman dead hits the hams harder (you have to use less weight), Heavy SLDL or Roman deads are controversial, just like really heavy good mornings. I like um heavy though. lol

I have used Romanians in the past, get a good work out but sometimes the kill my lower back. If you have ever had back pumps from a PH, these will bring them on very quickly. Hate the damn things, but they are effective.

It was an abbreviation. Hahaha. Maybe Romans are sldl? Thanks for the vid. I'll look at it soon. Hehe.
 
I think they are the same from watching the vids, mostly keeping the legs straight on the 2nd stage and a slight bend back in the first.

I showed a guy a vid of me deadlifting today, and basically sarcasticly said "I know you hurt your back because your form is awful" which, granted it wasn't perfect, it wasn't bad, and I doubt he has good form when maxing or can lift near that. But anyways, I told him about romanian deadlift and explained there is more than just one style of lifting. I have never hurt myself deadlifting, so that was kinda offensive. Gona go link him to the romanian demonstration now ;)

Form is #1 man. Yea I think most times its just "what are you doing it for?". If you are romanian deadlifting for size, you are going to be doing the lift slower and probably use full range of motion that doesn't put your lower back in any type of stress. If you lift for weight lifting (the clean), you are going to be taking it from just below the knees and putting emphasis on keeping the bar close to your body and embedding that feeling of riding on top your legs while pulling with force. In both cases I'd say use "appropriate" weight. As you sure know, injury is no one's friend.

Noticeable libido increases and over all feeling of well being. Aggression has somewhat leveled off at i'd say +2 (+10 being equated to wanting to kill everyone, at least by my scale).
Libido is a pretty good +6. Most PH's I've taken (aside from Andro Hard), actually killed my libido... hell on Hdrol I just wanted to die most times...

Liquid food, unless it's like something i'd blend to drink, is not viable because I don't digest milk, most of the carb drinks actually have some form of substance that poses some threat to me... haha i'm a fragile little flower. sigh..

I'm liking it though. I'm glad I jumped on to try this product.

Hehee, yea I watched it. Now honestly, for the Deadlift for a competition lift rounded back, or slight bend in it is not a bad thing. As your lower back stabilizers are no way stronger than your legs. Thus the "crane" like deadlift where you use a lot of upward force to pop to bar off the ground and carry that momentum upwards while using your side and back stabilizers to mainly stop you from breaking. The only thing you're after is getting that bar to lock out w/o dying. Now this is the other end of the spectrum. We shouldn't do this ALL the time, but for a meet, or a ME day it's probably not a bad idea to push for heavy weights. Maybe 3-4 times a year tops. Other times I'd say minimize risk of injury, keep that back straight, and core tight.

Other than that I would do sets of 405 for 3 every 3rd or so exercise, and would usually do functional warm up sets of 225 and then 315. 315 was my staple for reps, getting around 12-15 per set using a straight bar. and of course my form was picture perfect on these (okay maybe not perfect) but, I was very purposeful with those lifts. Anyone doing a 100% max is going to break form, watch the WSM lifting, hell they fail half the time, form is all over the place. The thing is they aren't doing that all the time, but heck they DO get hurt. just a year or two ago derek poundstone hurt his foot somehow at WSM, and he still ended up a close 2nd , should have won, with that injury.

My whole point is I hate bitches who like to complain about the littlest thing they can find wrong with your routine. at the point of that video, I was 16 years old, 185 pounds, and deadlifting over 500 pounds, isn't too shabby. Obviously still had a ton to learn and I have learned alot since that point.

Yea and Im running it for 4 weeks pretty much solo. Unless I get some bad flare ups, or something gyno related I will not jump on AndroHard (just as a precaution for the gyno, DHT conversion, should prevent Gyno by neg feedback on the the estrogen path...Im hoping). If all goes well itll be 4 weeks, then a PCT then maybe a 4 weeker on this stacked with UD.... ;) Or Epi strong. Donno yet. Depends on when/if my PCT goes through customs.... if not... hmmm I guess I will be running it pulsed....? I donno haha PCT better come in! Damn customs!

Either ultradrol or Epi-strong would be nice, though I don't know a lot about the ultra. Epi-strong however, is my drug of choice!:sgrin:

If you were 16 years old pulling 5 plates, then you're uncommonly strong.
 
I think that guy in the "Roman Deadlifts" video is named Roman and he named his version of the deadlift because he performs a traditional concetric movment, but uses a SLDL for the eccentric portion, thus, the "Roman Deadlift." I think it's just easier to call deads coventional or SLDL or "Romans" I guess if you decide to combine the two.

The link up in post 89 has the link to my vid, I do believe. And thats just 1RM, I could only rep 7-8 plates. Now not so much haha. Plus I deadlifted for about 18 months once every 1-2 weeks among my other back and leg exercises, alternating with squats, hack squats, leg press, etc and trained for strength. Plus alot of good eating. It was slow but that was my peak.

and I agree, the guy in the video himself said he changed the name from spartan to roman or something, so not romanian at all.
