Mattrag is Dream'n LEAN with EndoSurge!! (BPS sponsored)

Following lean gains like you bud, just wondering what your macros are looking like. I'm not allergic to anything as you stated you were, buy I'm really carb sensitive. Just wondering how it was going for ya with the 2000burn/3000lift cals and if ya got your food selections figured out as you stated the cash flow was a bit low for paleo style. I may follow you and start focusing on a paleo based LG, my veggie and fruit intake is pathetic! Being carb sensitive this will help a lot too.

If you wanna look up the Paleo diet i'd suggest just checking out Robb Wolf's site. I think he has some slide show on the 30 day trial diet. (All free, just a trial to see if you feel/perform better on it). Then look at crossfit football's site, and look under the nutrition section. It's John Welbourne's site and he is a BEAST. He has good programming on his site too. Where you do the strength workout and then the conditioning one. He has a program for college, amatuer, and beginner. It's a really good site. He also has a Q&A site called talk to me johnnie.
Cross fit football differs as it is "Primal" eating (Basically paleo plus dairy).

Todays workout was pretty short and sweet. Just did some high pull and some pendalay rows for fun. Today I also did about 1.5 hrs of judo. Wasnt an intense session but it was a good one.

High Pulls

BarX10
BarX8
65X5
85X5
95X5
95X5
95X3

Stopped here cause I wasn't able to generate as much force as I could before.

Pendalay Rows

135X5
135X5
155X5 (PR)
155X3

Stopped here and decided to save the fuel for my judo session after work.

Judo was pretty good. I had two burn days in a row. And my Monday build day was actually really low. Around 2400cals. Yesterday was around 1500 and today was around 1500. Honestly, I'm not losing weight anymore so Im going to try and up the cals to my 3000/2000 split. Just that I dont really have the funds to eat lol. Well I do but Im too tired to cook it all. Hard to mass product that much food... with my college size fridge and only a gas stove top... But I should be able to start mass producing food soon.

Work with what you can food wise man, we have all been there before. Heck even when I had my own place in college, time was so short making a lot of food was not easy. I am sure the EndoSurge will get to you soon, international shipments take a while.

Thanks!!! man though it's rough living in Japan.. Just everything being like mini size is definitely not easy haha.

Yup still waiting but Im going to take FULL advantage of the product so I can wait! Patience!

Pendalay Rows (decided to put this one in again today)

135X5
135X5
155X5
165X5 (PR)

Felt really good on this one. Could be that im getting used to the movement.

Rack Pulls / Shurgs (done on every other set)

155X10 (10)
175X10
225X8 (10)
275X8
315X6 (10)

Decided to end it here. Was considering doing good mornings, but I might do those tomorrow on the overhead press day.

Todays workout wasnt dialed in yet. I still think I need to separate the "gym" portion of my house from the house portion lol. Lotta stuff bothers me and I have trouble getting in the zone. Another day at work, then after work I got some judo. Should be good. Today is a build day so Im looking to eat quite a bit. Gotta get my meal for lunch at school ready. But Im happy with my numbers. The squats and deads are feeling good. Just have to progress slowly.

Nice bro just keep up with it and keep focused.

Yea. Looking to modify the gym room. I'm a little worried the floor is gonna go. Haha.
I will be closing it off from the rest of the house. Might post some pics of jay or something around the room too lol.

Damn man that would be bad, But at the same time i'd feel so badass knowing i pulled enough weight to collapse a floor haha

Great workout too man, keep up the good work. I'm gonna look into those Pendalay Rows, i've heard good things on those..

Log is going well, looks like some great workouts. Now get some food in you man!!!

You have to admit that having the floor collapse while you're deadlifting would be just about the most awesome way to die you could hope for. :D

Great work, solid structure and I saw some serratus popping out in your pics. You have come a long way. Your legs are friggen beast. Keep it up man you are doing great!

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement!!! My chest is stupid strong. I think my legs are big because I was 260lbs since like I was 14. Working on making them lean now. Im going to make it all the way to below 10% soon!!

AM workout.

OH press 5s

Warm Up

Push presses

Bar X10
Bar X8

Power cleans

Bar X5
Bar X5
Bar X5

OH press

Warm up
Bar X10
Bar X10
65X10
85X5
5s
105X5
115X5
125X7

Notes: I switched up the grip. Noticed when I was push pressing and power cleaning my grip is a lot more narrow. Dont think thats a good thing . So I used the same grip for those for my OH press. Different but definitely can feel the shoulder getting more work. A definite plus.

Reps, 3 warm ups sets then one set to 25 with 50% 1RM

Squat/1 Arm DB row
95X10/45X10
95X10/45X10
95X10/45X10

115X25
90X25

I know sad my back is only 25 below my legs. But I think it must be a form issue. Sad my life for only starting to squat FOR REAL about 3 years ago. And then sustaining injuries from bad from every 3-4 months...

Tri set

Goodmorning/upright row/ wide grip bent over row
95X10/90X5/90X5
95X10/90X5/90X5

The knot in my lower back started to cause some discomfort so I stopped here. Got most of what I wanted to do, cept the T cups and tri cepts. Might add that to an extra accessory day.

Felt better today. Got some new music playing. My weight room remodel is starting too. :D

Off to work, thanks for reading! And a big thanks to all who are tagging along.

Yeah I have a friend who was big and his legs were huge from years of walking around with the extra weight. Call it a gift now and enjoy it.

oh on a side note I had my sample of AI's HGHpro last night and it was good. Slept for 6.5hrs but felt extremely good! Also, still feeling good even though I took no stims or ate any food. :D

Gonna be a good run of EndoSurge when it comes. I know it. If this stuff can help with recovery like I know it should I'm going to push for more volume by adding in more sessions. And trying to up the accessory work.

Dude I don't know how, my Dad's calves aren't big, but some of my uncles are. I swear one night at a softball tournament my wife and a friend of ours hot btw was watching me hit, Our friend says you know Cyrstal your husband from the waist down is solid muscle!!! lol She had to re word that one.

My calves are big at 17, I had them to 19 once looked ridiculous on me but I have tiny knees.

Lotta ppl tell me my calves are big. I think it just looks big cause my legs in general hold a lot of fat haha.
But i had one friend who played college rugby and his legs were damn lean. Even though his upper body looked over 25% bf.

Dude 19"?! Damn man. I gotta start working my calves.... Standing barbell calf raises? I'm thinking too much lower back stress though... Any suggestions for a barbell only guy?

I don't know about all that lol. I'm not that big haha!! I'm guessing around 17 or 18 inches.

Ho man, this workout was intense haha. I loved it. Im seriously getting back into this strong. I better not crash out though. Need to keep the motivation up here!!

All this talk about calf sizes makes me want to take some measurements! Maybe I'll bust out my tape measure and take some!!

ah, one more thing on the workout. The high pulls grip is the power clean grip. The bent over row will be labelled "Grip 1". Basically shoulder width. Grip 2 will be a hand away from that, then 3 will be super wide, where my middle finger is on the last marker (well for my bar).

Nice volume bro, very beastly!! Reps when I get back on the Mac. I really wish they would add a rep feature to this damn app! Oh and YES to the measurements, that's definitely something I need to be more consistent with...the last time I checked was the beginning of my AH/AL LOG.

Thanks!! I was thinking the whole time TG is getting lean I better be getting lean too!!! Hahah.

Yea I know I check AM from my Iphone all the time and I feel bad I cant leave reps when I want to!

See? Volume isn't hard :D Nice workout man, i'm gonna have to step up my gain at that rate..

Today was kinda rough. I had a business trip so I was only able to do my bench 531 workout.

Bench Press 3s

WU
135X10
135X8
185X5
3s
205X3
215X3
225X5*

*This was easier than I thought . Pretty good seeing I dont have spot and I try to do the perfect rep every time.

Went well though. Tomorrow I will be doing some double time on the workout. Probably try hit a double split.
