AI's Super Swole Stack...GoHard's Quest for Strength Absolute

I glanced over them and I need to sit down with some time so I can formulate a quality response. That was an EXCELLENT POST! It got me all tingly and hungry for knowledge.

Believe it or not the convo we are having in there is the biochemical basis on why ANY diet will work or fail. Its absolutely basic to truly taking your diet to a new level.

And Yes this is the fasted training DW and Kleen are following except im still learning. I have little time to sit down and truly analyze it so im just trying to encorporate the basics. And I think Im already leaning out even more with just my first week in.

Strength is up b/c even on my light days...the light weight feels lighter.

Good to see that the Intermittent Fasting is working for you too. I feel the KISS ideology should remain applied to it in a lot of aspects. It could be overly easy to start over analyzing the how when the how is really easy. Moving away from the dogma of the 6 meal very restrictive meal plan is one of the reasons I truly love the way of eating. Tossing in caloricly dense foods that you would never eat on a cut or recomp and still getting as good or in my case better results than traditional dieting is awesome but the level of satisfaction I have in general by not denying myself foods I wont for long periods is more valuable to me than any other aspect of the diet. I can control insulin and what not with the traditional way. HOWEVER, I can control insulin and have heightened periods of anabolism and freedom with this method. So for me it is, oh how would Charlie Sheen put it?

Also due to the lack of stims in my life at the moment, it's been hard to get out of bed and go about my day b/c of my lack of sleep. If I didnt have my 2-3 scoops of Maniac Pre-lift it would be a lot harder to get motivated to get those numbers in.

Just ran out of BCAA's...need more recoverpro STAT!

Diet today:
17 ounces Ground Beef (100 grams of protein)
1 cup cooked Brown Rice
2 apples
2 RTD VPX Power Rushes I picked up when filling up on gas (cheaper then buying food at school)

Total Caloric intake is below 2000...protein is a little over 180. Carbs are about 130. Fats are below 50. Ill be more precise later when i do the math.

You called...this is def a diet designed for guys like us. And the great part about it I have a lot more flexibility and control of how I gain/lose weight. Hopefully this will allow me to truly reach that next level of athleticism

Took a sample of Mesomorph before lifting. I was very much surprised. Definitely a very good pre-workout. Got 3 more samples so lets see if it lives up to the hype. But today was an excellent lift

I think its about time I start taking this cut really seriously and make a new log with before and after pictures to really motivate me to have a defined outcome.

Im really starting to get a hang of lean gains and its showing on scale and in the mirror. Gym performance has not dwindled. Now I just need a quality stack to speed up the cutting process.

I am already planning my next Swole Stack. The thought of it is making my muscle swell with anticipation!

Nothing worth mentioning. There was this one woman running on the beach that I was about tempted to catch up to her and ask her about lifting...she made me look like a toddle. Heck she looked like Kleen...she with a bigger back and arms. She had to weigh well over 200lbs.

Fitness is cool but i find female bodybuilders are a bit over the top for me!
 
I used to love the older female body builders. However now they just look gross. A well muscled fitness chick does it for me, but there is a very fine line between fine and funky!
 
This was my first body builder fantasy, she would be a fitness model by today's standards. Cory Everson was the bees knees!

It wasnt by choice but it was all I had. Also my first meal before the workout was really crappy (2 double cheeseburgers). So I would blame it more on lack of proper fuel that led to me feeling so weak.

Ordering some custom protein mixes from protein factory to try them out. If I like them then Ill order more and have that ready for my new log.

Just gotta get a fat burning stack to make the log complete and I can start it up!

So my new stack/routine is almost underway. I had an excellent back day friday and saturday was a nice light and easy shoulder day.

Here is the stack:
HGHpro(pre-bed) stacked with Powerfull(pre-lift)
RecoverPro
Maniac...may change this up since Ive been using it for awhile now. It gets addicting.
Dexaprine: 1x a day
Adipoxil: 2 pills 1x a day
TT-33: 1-2 pills a day
Custom made intra-workout and protein.

Im going off the deep end in my opinion since I normally dont use 3'5. I will have a nice PCT lined up for the thyroid. This stack will be 2 months. Diet will be Lean Gains. The Thyroid PCT will continue the cutting stack for another month leading into another strength phase with 5/3/1.

Im going to take this week off from lifting hard. This will be my deload week before I start my new log. First off Im taking this week off b/c im starting to get that extra worn out feeling. Strength feels zapped due to lack of mental state(which tells me my CNS is worn out and needs a rest). Second it's going to help with recovery and overall performance. Third it will give me time to focus on cardio and diet.

I tried to do heavy squats and I just wasnt there. So Ill do a whole lot of walking this week, very light exercises to deload and get ready to hit it again next week.

The lean gains diet seems to have optimized my thyroid somehow, how else can you explean a 650 cal increase and 4 less hours cardio a week and lose fat faster than I ever have in my life.

More activation of the HSL via increase glucagon secretion during times of fasting. Also an increase in metabolic rate in times of feeding would make it harder to gain weight during feeding.

You're thyroid output may be upregulated but I can see several if not many different avenues for thwe increase in fat metabolism.

Anyone come across an article on the effects of IF and thyroid output?

Now I do not know the mechanics of it xactly but I do know that metabolism increases during fasting. I would assume this is via the thyroid stimulating the metabolism to increase so that we feel the need to hunt and forage... Before fasting turns to starvation it actually increases metabolism. Once you pass the point of a fast and enter into starvation the metabolism then slows trying to make the body more efficient, but that is not the case during the initial fast, only when taken too long which is far longer than any of us fast with the intermittent protocal. Even the ADF or alternate day fasting does not reach that point and that is a 24 hour fast.

These may change the next time I order. Today I may do a nice arm routine. It's been awhile since i focused on arms and Ill get to check out how well my mix works in increasing recovery.

Now I do not know the mechanics of it xactly but I do know that metabolism increases during fasting. I would assume this is via the thyroid stimulating the metabolism to increase so that we feel the need to hunt and forage... Before fasting turns to starvation it actually increases metabolism. Once you pass the point of a fast and enter into starvation the metabolism then slows trying to make the body more efficient, but that is not the case during the initial fast, only when taken too long which is far longer than any of us fast with the intermittent protocal. Even the ADF or alternate day fasting does not reach that point and that is a 24 hour fast.
I should look into this more in depth, you may be onto something

Protein factory. You can get bulk SPP for 35.50 a pound. Im considering going bulk SPP and then making a protein mixtury without it. Gotta see which one is more cost efficient.

Thanks but losing fat has always been very difficullt for me, no longer though...this is a fuggin breeze compared to what I am used to. The sky is the limit now, I can now hold more muscle when I cut and gain less fat when bulk, making it a lean bulk. The fasting regulates me into the metabolism of a mesomorph as apposed to that of an endomorph, I mean how exciting is that!! How much azz am I gonna kick!!! ... Fuggin plenty!!

Makes good sense, describes what I am experiencing, bottom line is it's taken my biggest weakness and turned it into a strength... priceless...

Thanks Andres! I will definitely have to give that a shot. I wonder how much of that SPP I would need to add into my normal mixture to get optimal effects during the fast. The SPP stays available in the intestines much longer than other protein sources so it would be beneficial post workout up until feeding time. Right now I am using GEAR 4 caps post workout to get some SPP in there.
 
Your going to get peeled on that stack and diet of course

are you doing any cardio? yes walking on the beach included. are you going to the beach(es) alot ? perfect weather for it

you can still gain muscle and strength while losing fat as you may know, its just much less than you would if your just a tad under maintenance, maintenance, or over maintenance.
