Okay, so I've been back at the local YMCA (that I used growing up aside from when I was at the high school). I hate switching gyms because cables particularly have different tensions and it's a pain.

The should press machine I used was a life-fitness one with a weight stack and felt really heavy for some reason (on the Nautilus one at my gym where I actually stack plates on it, I put up well over 200 with ease for reps).

Delts and traps day went over well for me. Chest felt better than last week. I didn't have a spotter, so I couldn't go any heavier than what I did on incline. Good pump, strength was up a bit.

Diet has been very loose the last 2 days. All meals have been preceded by an insulin sensitizer to minimize damage.

I'll hit fasted cardio in the morning and I'm actually taking one more day off the gym so I can watch the Bears game and the gym here closes at 3 (church won't get done til Noon). My back is actually a little sore still anyway, so it'll be good. Good chance to heal up and grow ;). I'll be sure to double down on cardio, though.

I actually was out screwing around in the snow a lot today and that was the best cardio I've had in a while. Man oh man, I was gasping. My parents live on some really hilly ground out in the woods and we attempted to sled...didn't work out so well lol. But, there was a lot of running around. Great, great time.

I apologize for the delay on this update. Between it being Christmas eve and Christmas, we also got a ton of snow and it was almost impossible to travel because of where we're located. But, nonetheless, this is it. Rest assured, I'm still going hard and prepping for an epic cut in another week ;)

Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas with the ones you love.

20 minutes fasted cardio.

Long walk with the family out on the frozen lake with the dog after the Bears game in the afternoon.

Jumping into Keto in the morning :( lol

Back:

Lat Pulldowns: 140 x 12 / 180 x 12 / 210 x 12 / 180 x 12 / 160 x 12
Smith Bent-over Rows: 150 x 12 / 180 x 12 / 210 x 12 / 220 x 12
Smith Deads: 180 x 10 / 230 x 9 / 270 x 8 / 290 x 5
Seated Rows (D-Ring): 155 x 15 / 185 x 15 / 215 x 15 / 230 x 12

Quick workout, but effective. Had a really sick lat pump going on. I was a bit disappointed with the Smith dead numbers. One factor is that the Smith machine is new there and I can't face the mirror, which irritates me for heavy movements like this, but what's really weird is it's on a slight angle - not completely vertical. And the biggest factor is the bar is really, really thick (which gives a great forearm pump at least). That just killed my numbers because my grip would give out way too quickly.

Today was Day 1 of going back into a ketogenic diet. I'll go roughly a full week before doing a carb re-feed to ensure I'm in ketosis and on January 3rd, I'll officially start my 8-week shred stack.

Tomorrow will be fasted cardio in the AM and either arms or legs in the afternoon.

Great updates! How is the caffeine free going? After getting more Meso....I FAILED! lol

Haha. I'm beyond the 3-week mark, now. I'm only gonna end up hitting 4 weeks total this time because I want to start my fat-burning stack on the 3rd of January. But I feel great now. After I go through this cut and get my bodyfat down to where I want it, I think I'll go for another detox and try to go maybe like 8 weeks stim-free to really try and reset things.

I attempted to go 2 weeks keto before a refeed last week and than I forgot christmas was saturday and I couldnt resist all the delicious food everythere! I am back on it now. Soupposedly a 3 day fast is soupposed to kick you right into ketosis. Might help with your goal of a detox too

Thanks, bro. This is my 3rd detox. First was back in April, another in the summer and now this. I went 4 weeks, 5 weeks and now 4 weeks again. It hasn't done a whole lot to me in terms of bringing sensitivity back, but that's where I think an 8-weeker could really shine.

And thanks on the photo comment, too, but it's from back in April, haha. I look much more like my avatar on here at the moment. Hoping to look much more like the twitter shot and then some in the next few weeks ;)

Day 2 Keto

This was my best arm day in quite a while. I think I found my new favorite tricep exercise in the overhead rope extensions from the low pulley. I've done these before, but not like this - I kept my knuckles together on both hands, pulling up like you would doing an overhead extension with a dumbell behind the head. But here's the fun part - I rolled my palms forward and outward (thumbs toward each other) at the top and really hit my tris like crazy. The burn from these things was awesome and I think it'll provide me with a nice alternative to skull crushers.

Gym pump was just nuts today and for once it was the triceps that looked huge compared to my biceps. I can dig that for sure

I'll be getting a leg session in tomorrow.

Keto diet is going well so far; not as lean as it'll be once the new year hits, but cals are still down and I haven't caved on opting for any carbs yet. I'm already losing some of the water weight I'd had on and my stomach is looking a bit sharper already.

Keto just melts the fat away for me and the longest I've ever done it is about a month, so I'm very excited for this.

Another great workout. Losing some strength, still, but not too badly.

Looked pretty beastly in there today. Scared away some high school kids without even attempting to . Something always cracks me up when I ask someone if they're on a bench or whatever and they start stuttering and then say "ummm you can have it." It's not like I try to Deebo people at all, but I do kind of enjoy watching them cower away (ah, high school kids...lol).

Taking the week off of legs to see if that helps my strength at all (since last week was subpar).

Just for kicks, hopped on the scale mid-workout today - weighed in at 235 and that was with sweats, shoes, shorts and my cutoff on. Factor in the fact that it's middle of the day and with the pump I had going, I'd say I'm doing well on that fat-loss already. I'm really excited to do a morning weigh-in once I get back home.

I'll be traveling the next 2 days, so I may not post and may take the days off the gym as well. I'll try to check in, though.

Probably gonna take a break to let the body rest up, but I'll still be no-carbing it on the road.

Well, everyone, the detox and this run has come to an end.

Starting on Monday, January 3rd, I'll be starting my new year shred stack along with doing some other logging, but I will be back on stims again. It wasn't the break I wanted, but 4 weeks is still pretty good to get things cleared out (with no slip-ups whatsoever).

I would like to thank JD especially and APS for this great opportunity. APS has quickly become one of my favorite companies with their great products and somehow even better customer service.

I hope you will all continue to keep in touch with me - I'll still be very present here on the forums ;)

I will now start on my final review which will be found on Page 1 in Post #2.

Final Review

For the first week, I was taking Creatine Nitrate and Plasmagen Nitrate pre-workout. After toying with the dosing for the first 3 workouts, I ended up with 8 caps of CN and PN all taken about 20-30 minutes before workout.

After realizing the new Plasmagen Nitrate was actually not stimulant-free, I ceased use and ran Creatine Nitrate with AAKG powder pre-workout for a handful of days. Shortly after, I received some Nitrozine (along with other freebies, because APS is just insanely awesome) and started dosing it at 6 caps with my 8 caps of Creatine Nitrate.

So, what I ended up with, was about 3.5 weeks of Creatine Nitrate stacked with Nitrozine.

This was the 3rd stimulant detox (complete break from ALL stimulants) I have done (4 weeks in April '10, 5 weeks sometime around July-August '10) and it was the most enjoyable for me as well. In the past, I had ran AAKG powder (~3g) pre-workout and even creatine monohydrate. I'd still get somewhat of a pump, but all in all, the workouts just felt like they were lacking. I was sluggish to start and just didn't want to be in the gym for those few weeks.

I was getting some of the best pumps of my life on this stack. On arm days, I'd usually cut an entire bicep lift out because they were just so pumped that I couldn't get a decent contraction after the 3rd exercise. Some of my chest days were just ridiculous in terms of the pump I would get.

I want to clarify here that I almost always get decent pumps (I'm just lucky in that category), but some of these days were even more exaggerated (and painful, even).

It wasn't just the pump, though. Endurance was slightly better than normal (nothing exponential, but still, enough to note) and my overall feeling was just enhanced.

In the past, taking the stimulant break was particularly awful the first 2 weeks going through the withdrawal symptoms of headaches, lethargy, etc. I did not experience that this time! I was a bit tired in the mid-mornings within the first 5 days or so, but that was very much less than I'd dealt with previously.

I didn't notice much difference (if any) between the use of Plasmagen Nitrate and Nitrozine. Both products are very good. I think Creatine Nitrate is definitely the shining star in the stack, though.

In the future, I will definitely use these products again. I want to use a LOT of Creatine Nitrate and I especially want to use Nitrozine in conjunction with it during my stimulant detoxes.

I would recommend all 3 of these products to anyone I know who is looking for a solid pre-workout product (CN and Nitrozine if needing a non-stim pre-workout).

I cannot express enough how amazing APS is and how great JudgementDay is, as well. As I've already stated multiple times: this is one of my favorite companies already and I will gladly give them my business. Great products, great customer service.

I would like to Thank you very much for giving us the time to do a supremely detailed log, this log has been amazing and you put in a lot of effort with so much detail. That is great you really like the creatine nitrate, it seems to be the hot item at the APS line up at the moment, (wait untill everyone trys our new product;) lol.

Amazing final review, thanks a lot bro, I really enjoyed following your log and can't wait untill you start your cutting log cause I will be there:D!

This was a blast to log, Tommy. I'm very intrigued by your new product for sure. And actually, I'll be trying some Mesomorph for the first time within the next week or so since I can finally have my stims again ;). I'm really excited about that based on what everyone else has said.

Anytime you guys are looking for a logger, I'll be tossing an app in for sure.

Kinda sad to see this one come to an end.

I agree. However, I'm very happy to be able to have my stims again :).

Next on tap for my logs will be Millenium's Somnidren-GH Ultra and USP's new pre-workout pump product, Yok3d (beta test).

I'll also very likely go ahead and create a log for the next 2 months that will outline the big cut stack, workout plan for it, etc. I probably will update that one more minimally, though, since I'll have the specific product logs, though.

I did just map out my supplement timing plan, though. It's pretty ridiculous, but everything serves a different purpose and works a different pathway.
