Resolving Mesomorph - My Review

Resolve

The BPS Rep
The Christmas Season is always busy for all of us, so I wanted to make sure I got a good 3 weeks on Mesomorph prior to my vacation. Little did I know what was actually in store.

First, I cannot thank APS or Judgmentday enough for shipping me a tub of Meso; it is one of those few products of which I cannot speak highly enough.

Its primary strength lies in its stimulant abilities. If nothing else, Mesomorph was a huge kick into high gear whenever I used it. Unparalleled mental acuity, energy and enthusiasm. Hand in hand with this was, expectedly, excessive sweating, even when training in fairly cool weather (~50F).

For you stim-addicts, this should prove a real treat. It was most similar perhaps to a combo of RPM and X-Force - great psychological improvement coupled with potent physical drive.

I would say, honestly, that while the "pump" Mesomorph provided was exceptional at higher rep sets (10-20 range), I have experienced better with lower reps on other products. Still, IMO it's wasteful to buy a product based entirely off of the pumps it provides, especially when other factors make Meso so much better. That being said, for the majority of trainers who prefer "body-building" style lifting, the pump afforded by Meso will prove intense and unmistakable. I don't know if this is due to the Creatine Nitrate in the formula, but that is what I would hope is having such effects - it's a neat compound with great potential, and while I prefer to be cautious about such matters, it seems to be doing its job.

My comments on endurance and recovery are brief. Endurance is such that it actually has a tendency to promote over-exertion. If you are going to use Mesomorph, be prepared with good recovery modalities because you will find yourself training longer and adding sets and movements. The stamina is just there. However, that comes with a caveat: I did typically come down hard, albeit after about 2-3hrs. Yet, such is to be expected: you train your little man-ass off and you will get tired.

Mesomorph has a Grape flavor - I understand APS will be releasing a fruit punch flavor sometime in the near future, but I have not had the opportunity to try that yet, obviously. The grape would best be described as a Dimetapp Knock-off; artificially sweet with a medicinal aftertaste. Certainly not delicious, but definitely palatable and far from bad. If forced to give it a numerical score I'd say a 7-out-of-10. Respectable, usable but you're not going to want a tall, cool glass of Mesomorph just for the taste. Chug that stuff and find a power rack ASAP - that's how this stuff was intended to be used.

As things stand, Mesomorph is currently my overall favorite stim'd pre-workout. The inclusive formula is comprehensive and well-dosed, providing good amounts of creatine and beta-alanine. The stimulants are intense and unique, and the bang for the buck really makes the $25-30 price tag well worth it. And this is coming from a guy who won't pay more than $6/lb for protein.

TL;DR - Mesomorph is outstanding. In a product category that is overpopulated with non-descript, poor quality caffeine/CEE/AAKG/maltodextrin clones, Mesomorph really set itself apart. If APS sold nothing else, Mesomorph could maintain their company as viable competitor in the supplement market.

for me, mesomorph is the best pre-workout available. i love the stuff.

btw-did you notice that there was no tolerance build up? i am getting same reaction to it now as i did when i 1st used it-this is amazing!

the 1st time i used the old version of shotgun i went through almost 1/2 a tub before having to up dose to get same effect. this is the 1st time i have been able to go through an entire jug and still see the same effect at the original dose.

You should contact them about possibly becoming a rep... because you love their products and spread the word naturally based on your own honest feedback, so it would be a match made in hea... well, Anabolic Minds at least ;)

I am highly surprised that you have not been recruited by a company with your obvious experience, energy, and willingness to help others here around the forum. 13,000+ posts, awesome reputation, and years of know how.

Maybe I should be your campaign manager, haha! ;)

I think Tom would be perfect if APS is looking for an extra rep!

I'd find myself exhausted at the end of longer workout, but there wasn't really a pronounced crash. More that I'd just find myself without any more energy all of a sudden. But that would only happen if I lifted for more than about 1.5 hours.

damn, 1.5 hours of straight lifting-damn. i can do that long cardio, but 45 munites is usually as long as i go lifting.

btw-i am sorry for the jack!!!!

No worries man, Outstanding is correct. A company will really benefit when they pick you up as a rep.

I think my lifting routines would be too much for a lot of trainers; my life is just at a stage where I am able to train that much and still recover sufficiently. It probably won't always be that way.

I'm actually starting two-a-days when I get back home to Dallas. Gotta get my body back on track after the Holidays.

Oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS!
