SilentBob's (no-drama) chatroom

I love the sticker they put on this album. "Caution: Heavy. Handle with care."

:head:

yeah, and make sure you run around all day humming " In this town, we call home, every hail to the pumpkin song"
Actually, I never saw the draw in that movie. And now that it's become the legend or holy grail for a bunch of wimpy little emo kids, I borderline hate that movie.

yes grump-azz. :D

I know exactly what you mean Tim! I loved that movie until the damn emos got their damn hand hands on it. It's the same with Vampires, AFI, black clothing, etc. All of which were great until they started pandering to that sub-culture. I mean come on, remember when vampires were badass as hell? I know I do!

Bram Stoker's Dracula, Interview w/ a Vampire, Vampire Hunter D, Nosferatu, Dracula Dead and Loving It, From Dusk Til Dawn, Blade, Underworld, Bordello of Blood, even the G-Damn Lost Boys for crying out loud! Now adays we try to cast the most effeminate looking guys to play vampires with emotion for some new flavor of the week. They're timeless undead concentrated mofuggin EVIL! They're supposed to be uncaring, badass mofuggers with absolutely NO regard for human life! UGH! GET OFF MY LAWN!

the ban hammer is in effect right now just noticed 2 regular posters here are gone.

...here it COMES!!!!

Due to it's roots in no-drama nature, SilentBob's (no-drama) chatroom is a secure bunker from the ban hammer so long as you stick to the no-drama roots.

That being said, what's new mich? Anything good planned this week?

I've got about 16oz of filet mignon left over that'll be epic with some potatoes for after my workout tomorrow. U mad? :food:

Vampires are over glorified zombies. But yes, Lost Boys ruled.

Or are Zombies under appreciated Vampires? Zombies can go out in the daylight, live forever, feed off victims AND infect others to make more Zombies. If it weren't for being so damn dumb, Zombies would be superior to Vampires. George A Romero already gave Zombies increased speed and mobility  now it's just a matter of time before they evolve again with higher cognitive function.

Preachin to the choir, man! In the 90s, my HS years, I got into the metal scene. Total headbanger. Nails painted black, grew my hair out like Jason Newstead. I usually wear all black to this day (it's slimming, and it matches my bike!). Always loved the dark side of things, and movies of this genre are always right up my alley! I remember when Hot Topic was a taboo store and NOT filled with all kinds of kiddie crap. Used to go in and look for White Zombie shirts. Now you walk through the door and you get Yo Gabba Gabba. WTF, MAN?!?!?!?

This thread needs more cowbell.

No, no, no....you're doing it all wrong, man! Like THIS:

I remember being scared the first time I watched that movie. Then my nads dropped.

I'm waiting for the Zombie apocolypse. Should be pretty fun!!

It comes on AMC every Sunday at 10pm, after the 1st episode they signed it for a 2nd season. That's money right there. The Walking Dead! :head:

Stephen King did a vampire flick in the 70's called "Salem's Lot" that got me spooked on vampires. A more recent one that I liked was called "Vampires" by John Carpenter.

Hendrix FTW..

Saw an advertisement about that. Definitely gonna have to check it out!!!

Also gotta save my pennies for this pistol grip 12g Mossberg pump I spotted at Gander Mountain. It'd round out my small arsenal. 9mm, .357, .270, 30-30, 20g single. :D Or as I call 'em - The Speed, The Barker, The long-range, The brush gun, and The One-hit Wonder.

There was a 90s remake of Salem's Lot. Not as good as the original. Don't even ask me about the book - I don't read. I don't even read anyone's posts here, I just assume you're all talking directly to me.

Wait... what? I see no ot6 in that list!

Don't want one! My dad already has one, so I don't really need to keep one at the house. Besides, if I want to reach out and touch someone, the .270 has a flatter trajectory and longer reach. :) In PA, or atleast in my area, it's a moderate deer rifle. The terrain isn't very open in most places, so there isn't that much need for a sniper rifle to kill Bambi's parents. Sighting it in at anything over 75yds is pretty useless, really. I have it dialed in at 50 to shoot in a 1/4" group. :)

One of his early successes I read that book before most people knew who he was.

Imagine watching that original one with 2 hits of blotter acid.

70's blotter!! you did two!! There were basically two kinds liquid acid which was fuggin crazy if there was enough on the blotter or the powder watered down and blotter rolled through which varied in strength and was more mid late 70's... I remember one time my buddy got a postcard they used as a funnel to pour the liquid into vials. That was an interesting week.

I've tried gel caps and the O.G. sugar cubes. Most I've done was 14 hits in total, about a 16 hour trip, but progressively, 2 hits, then 4, then 8, every so many hours. That was my last time.... But it was certainly my leisure time of choice back in the days of adolescents. Some of my best, hardly recollectable memories stemed from good trips.

Why oh why did I say no so many times in college when things were so much easier!!! I should have stocked up for when I got married, became a dad, had bills and debt, and had to work a full-time job (or two). AAAAAAAHHHH!!!! Dang it.

Two words Fright Night. Any one remember The Monster Squad??

Wait... nobody has bumped this thread in over 36 hours?? WTF man!!!!

Ok, ok...I'll do it...

Hel, I'm greedy........I want ALL of that!!:boobies::yumyum:

A word to all you Zombie lovers:

Sunday night starting at 8:00 PM eastern time AMC will be airing the first 2 episodes of The Walking Dead before showing the new episode at 10:00.

If some of you missed 1 or both of the first 2 episodes this will give you a chance to get up to speed with the storyline.

Great show by the way.

I went on a two or three month drinking binge right before I got married. I knew it would be the last times I'd ever ge drunk (out of respect to the wifey cause she hates alcohol).

I haven't drank in so long I could probably get a club-ready buzz on off a slice of rum cake.

F*ck yeah! Wait....first episode was 90 minutes long, are they cutting some of that out or maybe going commercial free? This show is gonna be awesome. :You_Rock_Emoticon: thanks for the heads up TG. I get to relive them all over again.

Isn't it funny how suddenly zombies became chic, much like all the vampire crap on tv and movies.

Yeah...but hopefully zombies won't be involved in any kind of love story/romance with some teenagers any time soon. Unless of course you are talking about their endless love for gray matter. Om nom nom zombies. :food:

Nah, the zombies won't fall in love and all that crap. Instead, you'll have the typical zombie fighters getting together in a desparate situation, falling in love and making the most of it. And they'll never farkin get eaten!!!!!! Grrrrrrrrr......

A few old tv shows that could do with a zombie update:

-The Golden Girls (Blanche Devereaux, Zombie Lover)
-Murder, She Wrote (except nobody dies.....for very long!!!!)
-All in the Family (Archie's prejudiced against the dead...)
-Little House on the Prairie (This one writes itself. "Gnight pa... braaaaainz!! chomp")
-Get Smart (Agent 99, undead but still a hottie)

Ok, so every show ever written could be vastly improved with an additional undead cast.

 So true

Sadly, there are SOME things that could do without zombies...

You what have you guys done today? I hit 315 on squats for the first time in over a year and spent the rest of the day just kicked back eating and catching up on some DVR action. I feel like pizza tonight after a successful lift. What are you kids getting in to?

Finally learned how to catch the Olympic Snatch in a true hams to calves overhead squat position.

After visiting Red Lobster last night for the all-you-can-shove-in-yer-face shrimp feast and piling in 152 of dem badboys (not including the petite ones on my Caesar salad), I lost about 4 lbs today.... of hair. Yup, that's right... head shavin' and man-scapin' day at my house. :D

Note to self.... buy Drano when you're out tomorrow...

Reminded me of ChipotleAway:

I meant for the hair, but that is pretty funny. :)

Just to rant... guess I'm stuck with my summer length in the winter. I shave the sides and back of my head with the #1 attachment in warmer weather, #3 in the winter. I left that one on top of the cabinet in the bathroom and now it's lost to the abyss somewhere, thanks to my lovely wife that is completely oblivious to things that aren't her's. Ugh...

Just turned on AMC to what I think should be the first episode of Walking Dead. 5 minutes watching it, one zombie comes and one zombie gets blown away. Yup... I can dig it. :head:

I can't get enough. Seriously, this is quickly turning in to the greatest show ever.

We've got Mr. Svenning handcuffed on a roof (damn right a Mallrats reference,) and Murph (Boondock Saints,) coming to rescue him! F*ck yeah! :head:

the mrs was watching this a few weeks ago at random(channel surfing before bed) and I was kinda liking the show.
