Why don't you stop creating accounts trying to be me and then I wont have to. Funny thing is that I was replying to a response where you quoted me 14 times and put a picture up trying to be me. Then you make a comment like that? Sad sad guy. The saddest part is that this all stem's from Alabama getting demolished by a South Carolina team who lost to KENTUCKY the following week.

War Eagle.

I'm sure you'd like to think that. Unfortunately, it seems as if my life isn't nearly as affected by Alabama football as yours.

Btw, you know it's completely amateur to use the transitive property with sports, right?

Of course, you didn't.

You know, if you weren't so thick, you'd be ashamed.

The moral of the story is not to say people are "obsessed" with people when you create accounts trying to be them. Now can we please bring this back to a football discussion instead of AnabolicMinds College Football Forum Jerry Springer Retard Style..

woww.. just listened to some FoxSports reporter say that Kellen Moore is going to win the heisman, easily. Seriously? Does anyone want to guess how dominating Cam Newton would look if he played the schedule that Boise State faces? That is ridiculous.

How would any of our teams look if we played border line D-II schools every week!?! I almost hope they make it to the NC game so someone can destroy them and stop the lovefest they've become.

Brando came on Finebaum today and said Boise is the only team in the country "doing what they are supposed to do, week in and week out". Really now? If any SEC team played San Jose State and Montana every week, they would too.

All except Auburn.. they are still no good and have no defense. They also only win due to paying the ref's off before each game.

For some reason you don't see teams very often that are just unbelievable on both sides. I think it gets into the head of the defense when they know the offense will bail them out of anything they get in.

no but if i had to chose i'd rather have a lights out defense. D is more reliable week in and week out. Eventually offense has an off game.

I think I'd pick offense (I'm about to get flamed). Having a ****ty offense can put your D in even worse situations that you can't get out of. When you have a offense with a ton of fire power you are never out of a game. Look at the Clemson/SC games, down big early but had enough O to make the comeback.

I agree to an extent, but I also think it's mostly to do with the head coordinators on both sides of the ball. If Auburn had Bud Foster or Kirby Smart as their DC, no way they'd be struggling anywhere near the extent they are currently. Just like if Florida had Malzahn or Petrino as an OC instead of Addazio. The talent is there on AU's defense (except the secondary), but Roof just isn't getting it done with scheming and coaching. They've even regressed since last year. Even if AU wins out, Chizik's going to kick Roof to the curb.

That being said, McElwain is really slipping this year on our side. Bama's receivers don't even know what a route is. Of course, team chemistry is a big part of it as well, and complacency is a monster.

I'm not gonna flame you, but I completely disagree. What you're hoping for AU to accomplish this season is the exception, not the rule. Can it be done? Yeah, it's possible. Is it the model to strive for? No, because a player like Newton can always tweak a knee. The defense can score points too, but even the best offense can't get the other team off the field.

And God help auburn if newton goes out
You would of said the same thing about Mallett before he went out last weekend.

Barrett Trotter might not be a future heisman winner but he has ability. I truly believe if something happened to Newton this defense would wake up and it'd also give the rest of the talent on this offense a chance to shine. Regardless of what you want to think, from top to bottom, Auburn seriously might be the most talented offense in America. From QB/RB's/WR/Offensive Line on down, they have no weak spots. The weakest spot would be at RB but Auburn is still managing to rush for more yards a game than most teams gain total.

I agree with you too that Roof is a joke. It still to this day beats me why Chizik is not in total control of the defense. From his days at Auburn/Texas Chizik has proven himself to be one of the best defensive minds in the game.

Mallett isn't overrated. He'll be the #1 pick and a successful QB in the pro's. My point was that noone knew what kind of talent was behind him because everyone was so fixated on him.

He WILL NOT be the #1 overall draft pick. He's shown he makes horrible decisions way too often

I bet you 5 paypal dollars that he is. You can't beat his intangibles. Jamarcus Russel was borderline brain damaged and he still managed to be the top pick just because of his size/arm.

Thank you for bringing him up. Because of him is the reason mallett wont be #1. I think teams have learned a big arm dont mean **** in the NFL if you make bad decisions

Overall #1 or #1 QB? Either way, I think Andrew Luck will go ahead of Mallett, and Patrick Peterson has a good shot at the overall top pick.

I don't think he's made that many bad decisions.. Hard to compare the two in IQ in my opinion. McElroy is one of the smartest guys in college football though with regards to IQ but maybe has made as bad of decisions this year as anyone out there.

That's a valid point. Alex Smith has a genius IQ level as well. Thinking it to death is just as bad as not thinking at all.

i'm not talkin bout IQ, just football decisions. And to Alex Smith's defense, he's had something like 6 offensive co-ordinators since he's been in the nfl. he was also overhyped in my opinion cause he had one breakout year

Living in the Bay Area, I can tell you with no hesitation: Multiple OCs or not, Alex Smith is a colossal bust. The 49ers just let Aaron Rodgers go by... and they've been paying for it ever since.

If the 49ers have a shot at Luck, and they don't take him... I will have to drive to Sacramento to escape the riots.

Hell, I'll take Jake Locker at this point.

No, anyone who has seen Tyler Wilson play in clean up duty knew he could sling it. Do you really think the any QB on a Petrino team wouldn't be legitimate? Also, when you have a receiving core (plus the DJ Williams security blanket), it makes it a lot easier.

Mallett would not have thrown those two picks.

Another peril of drafting a QB from a spread offense. It doesn't translate to the NFL (Tebow anyone?).

Brandow is an SEC hater who competes with Musberger for Boise ass lickin time.

His comment is actually too assine to even take seriously.

With the dissarray in the SEC and Ohio State's fall, these guys are giddy. Blue icing all over their punky mouths. They're counting on Auburn and LSU to get eaten somewhere in the SEC shark tank and Oklahoma tripping up against Texas or the Cowboys, which would almost guarantee the subject of all their adoration gets to the big dance.

You might of known.. but not many people outside of the state of Arkansas had ever heard of him before. Same goes for Auburn and the back up Barrett Trotter. That was my point exactly.

Forgot to add -- bikeswim --- I sat next to a few Arkansas fans and they were as hillbillyish as I would of guessed, however, they were really cool and down to earth fans. You guys did NOT travel well but the people who did travel actually seemed to be cool people.
I've met Arkansas fans a couple times at the LSU-Arkansas game after Thanksgiving in Baton Rouge. They were always pretty cool but definitely hillbillies for the most part.

They do seem pretty rowdy and talk a bunch of ****. Most of it is good natured ribbing though. I haven't been to any other SEC venues besides Baton Rouge so I can't comment on other fans in their home environment.

They start tailgating on Friday and the people who are going to act like *******s are pretty sauced up by the time Saturday night rolls around. So restraint is out the window. Alcohol could have a lot to do with the perception of LSU fans as douches perhaps?

Alcohol is definitely a factor. Also, LSU has the rep for being the hardest place to win on the road at night so maybe they just feel like they've gotta live up to that reputation.

Apparently not. I've been out for about a month. But I'm all good now. I just hope for God's sake we can rest our banged up players, win or lose, and pull of an upset of Utah or USC this year. That and the health of our players means more than a 8-4 season and a navy win. Sheesh! Injuries everywhere we turn. Well, we shall see what depth we have. So-so season so far. Crist has earned my respect, seeing how he's only started this year. Might as well have been a true freshman. And as always, we have no defense. Except at times. Too bad it can't be for 4 quarters yet.

As for the SEC, I have no problem with any team, or fans, except LSU. I live in the middle of this "trash". (mostly anyways) All I hear when they almost lose is, Les Miles needs to be sh*t-canned. Then they miraculously wind up 6-0, and everybody is praising him again. I hope the *sshole stays. He will wind up screwing them over more than helping in the long run IMO.

But it is true, winning is winning. Its either a W or an L. Period. (I just hope they take it up the arse by Auburn, Alabama, and Arkansas.) Notice I put down all 3.
