Ok so I can firmly say yesterday was a big fail lol. Kelley didnt show up for the college football bar b que. But damn did I eat well lol. Didnt leave there hungry.

Then go to go watch UFC. I had put on some of RPN's Renegade balm(maybe a little too much) and it seemed to have an effect. Not saying it was a good 1 or anything. I seemed to be the topic of discussion a bit even though I didnt talk much. Especially when people werent near me BUT when they were close to me they seemed to respond differently much more at ease. So my picks in the fights didnt go so well but oh well. Heather was a no show.

The only LITTLE bit of good that came out of it was talked to 1 of the girls there about a "health club" that a lot of the people there that night work at. Seems she could get me a membership there for about $20 or so she said. I was like let me get a week pass to try it out. Right now I dont pay anything but I have no one to lift with. Plus WAY more girls at this place than at a AF base fitness center where the window of opportunity is VERY small. Plus apparently they have round weights instead of octagon ones. Ok for some bad news they dont allow chalk(not that the FC does) but Im pretty sure I can get away with something else I have been meaning to try anyway. Ok another thing is I think this is where Lindsey works as a personal trainer. Honestly I dont want to see her. I will check the place out for a week and see what I think.

Ok fack it! Im not supposed to lift till Monday but it is starting to look and feel like Im going to lift on a Sunday. Really in the mood to kill the weights. Just feeling it honestly. Like I need to do some damage to my body.

Well I ended up not going to lift. Just started feeling off with a headache. So I went all Native American on its ass and hotboxed(not chiefing) myself in my room. Sleeping in a warm room and just sweating seems to help me clear out toxics pretty well.

i just read every single page of this log. all i can say is godamn you are strong.

yea bro i dont workout on certain days of the week.. i go by how i feel.. maybe 4 days in a row or may be 3 days off, it all depends. (but 3 days off is pushin it.. i mite flip and strangle somebody lol)

like i told my boy earlier who said he was supposed to workout but was feelin lazy- "fock that, go get it in!"

Ok so I went to the FC. Got baited into deadlift maxing again stupid fool. Went for 700 big mistake. Didnt hurt anything but barely got it off the ground which is saying something. Then tried 685 and got it to about my knees. So I think starting off at 685 I would have gotten it a lot closer. Another thing to keep in mind is this was my 1st time using this belt so it was a new feel for me. I wont try maxing again till I get a belt I am more comfortable with. I want a damn good one so I will be ordering one online.

About to go back to the FC and finish my back. Went and ate some bar b que with a friend post deadlift. Had some good laughs about some stuff. Oh and discussed going to the new "health club" well apparently it isnt filled with girls like I had hoped :sigh1:

Oh ya another thing about the health club that is a no go... the dumbells only go up to 100 pounds FUCCK THAT!

So I went back and worked back some more.

Pull ups: 8, 8, 7, 6, 8

Bent over rows: 225*10, 275*10, 295*6,6 Hardest part was my lower back was sore from deads earlier.

Lat pull downs: focused more on the pulling motions instead of the weight.

Seated cable rows: focused on the movement and stretch still got 6 reps with 200 pounds as my final set(5 sets)

Kneeling 1 arm cable lat pull downs 3 sets of 15 moving up in weight each time

Shrugs: 135*20,15,12 really focused on pulling my traps up and then letting the weight hang at the bottom to stretch them. Way more painful than just jerking the weight around.

So apparently a great status to put on Facebook is "Tom ____ thinks angled pics of girls shouldnt be allowed on Facebook... just saying." Because within seconds 2 hot girls liked my status lol. Cant get much better than that.

Right now sipping on my 1st beer in like 3 monthes. Wouldnt have drank it but I added part of it to my now cooking chicken. Should be interesting to see how it turns out. Im no chef I just throw a bunch of random stuff together and cook it up.

Lol Idk if they do nor will I find out. Mario texted me today saying his schedule got changed. So we can go lift a little after 3PM or so. Was def good news to me.

Went and did chest today. Maxed on bench just to get an idea of where Im at now. 135, 225*10, 275*5, 315*3, 365*1 PR felt pretty good so I put 375 on the bar. Mario goes to get some guy we dont know to spot (spotters on both sides) wow dude was a dumbass. He never let go of the bar so the weight was uneven. I just said "take the weight" and sat up with a "Wtf look" on my face. Then we did some sets with 315 with reps of 3 and 4. My last set of 315 felt the best. Really knocked them out cleanly.

Incline DBs for reps 90*15, 105*11, 9

Dips 45*10 dropset to BW*12 it was rough

Decline hammer strength 230 total no rest 10, 9, 8 ,7, 6, 10

Standing DB flyes 15*15, 20*15, 15*12 dropset 10*8

DC chest stretch 50s for 60 seconds.

My chest was pumped and Im going to be sore as hell. Im really tired after that workout. Shouldnt have a problem falling asleep tonight.

Now think about if I got any kind of coaching. That is assuming I can find some coaching and Im even coachable. Now this guy at the FC who used to powerlift said he can try and help me out. Plus there is a woman who powerlifts and she received some pretty good coaching herself at the FC. Def something I want to atleast give a shot now.

I don't know what belt you're getting, but my Inzer belt is a real high quality "thick" belt and due to it's sturdiness, it doesn't bend at all or give in at any position, which means that when you bend over, it tends to jab you in the ribs and its kind of painful. HOWEVER, just like how the squats hurt your neck the first time you squat, until now, where its like there's no feeling back there, your ribs and whatever else is getting jabbed when you bend over by a sturdy belt will also adjust and then there's no more uncomfortability.

I spent something like $140 on my inzer belt and the first time I put it on and went down into a DL position, I almost gave that damn belt away on the spot. I was used to bb.com, soft belts that curve, give and bend with your body, so when I felt this inzer belt jabbin my ribs, I was like WTF. A few MONTHS later I gave it a shot just doing squats, where there was no bending over involved and when I started O-lifting, I noticed that after two or three sessions, I no longer felt the ribs pain, so just something to be mindful if you're getting a power lifting belt.

Lol I might have to just will depend on what kind of comp it is though. Only PL comp I can find in GA until next year is tested. There r PLENTY of them in Florida but only a few r in the north. Found 1 in SC that is about 4 hours away.

Hell I wish. More like my car is out of commiss. Was supposed to go lift with Mario after he took a test but he calls me and tells me he is going to go watch a movie with his girl. He said he would lift after but the movie would end at like 9:30 and the fitness center closes at 11. Today is legs and squats would take most of that time. Starting to think he might actually be avoiding them.

If we do end up lifting today Im thinking about doing arms today. Then tomorrow legs and have shoulders for Friday. I cant see anything wrong with that.

BTW I find it odd u can say ass but not ass-hole.

Just got home a little while ago from the FC. So ended up doing arms tonight since didnt have but a little over 40 minutes. Make them count though.

DB curls 40*10, 50*10, 60*10

Rope tricep ext(STRICT): lots of sets ending up at 72.5 all for 15 reps

Preacher curls(machine) 95*12, 125*12, 155*6 dropset 95*6

Tricep extension where u r kneeling and lay ur forehead on the bench and extend ur arms out like a skull crusher with cables: 57.5*15, 65*20, 72.5*15(1st time trying these def have a future with these)

Hammer curls dropset from hell: 65*10, now just the weights 50, 30, 15. It was after 11 when the place closed so wanted to wrap the workout up.

My arms got PUMPED and looked actually pretty decent today. Def a marked improvement.

BTW these numbers r from what I can remember. Pretty sure on most though.

Hammer curls dropset from hell: 65*10, now just the weights 50, 30, 15.

Def a marked improvement.

So legs were a bit hit and miss.

Squats went like sh1t again. Worse this time actually. I think Im trying to tweak my form too much and without someone really watching me who knows what to do it wont help me.

Leg extensions: 100*25, 25, 20, 20 Back and forth no break. Wow the pump was crazy.

Hip machines both of them: 295*15, 15, 15, 15

Suit case deadlift rest a little then power cleans: 135*5, 5 then for power cleans 135*10, 10. The power cleans were fast and more just conditioning.

Leg press calves: 130*100, 170*100, 210*100 the pain.

After the workout went and ate at Mario's. Tilapia, chicken with sauce, apple sauce(unsweetened), and turnip greens. Def cant complain about that.
