As long as people believe in a all powerfull all knowing god the human race and our planet is doomed. If you really honestly believe in a God and that the end of times is near then what is the point ?
If enough people around the world believed that this world was near end days or whatever your beliefs wanna call it, You will self fullfill your prophecy.

That sounds like some New Age mumbo-jumbo crap. But with all the 2012 hype, you may be right. I haven't figured it out yet.

I can assure you of one thing though, there is an all-powerful god. And it's true that there are 2 sides of an unseen spiritual battle, good and evil, or whatever you wanna call it. You only doubt because you haven't experienced it yet. But after you learn that it's true, you will believe, whether you like it or not. (or at least that's how it affected me)

Mine? Simple - Live each day as it is. Expect the worst and 2 things may happen: you'll get the worst, or you'll be pleasantly surprised! Fortunately, I'm always pleasantly surprised. :) I live each day as if it were my last, cause you just never know! There are people in this world who hate me. I take risks - ride a motorcycle, eat raw fish, and leave the house every day! Having a daughter has taught me to slow down and appreciate SO much more than I used to. Everyone always says that time goes by so fast, but if you live in the moment, that time can be all you want it to be.

If the world is going to end, there's not a thing I can do about it. I'll enjoy it right up until I croak. I'll do what I need to do, what I want to do, and that's about it. Ain't nobody gonna break-a my stride. Ain't nobody gonna hold me down. Oh, no, I got to keep on movin'. :D

No offense taken, sir. To be honest, the comment was an indiscriminate statement, for this discussion was spilling over in a few other threads at the time and I made it thinking of one person in particular. And congrats on the kill streak! I've had a few in my life time... except I wasn't looking at a TV/Computer. ;) What game were you playing?

modern warfare 2, waitin on black ops, other than that theres a new mortal kombat game coming out with x ray special moves, it looks pretty tight

Well I take it your not a believer in God (to each his own not bashing you)

But you asked what is the point if the end times are near- simple to me really

Christianity states many things on eternal life


Jesus Himself said many things on eternal life


My personal belief is in Jesus Christ

That when I die I will be with Him and all will be forgiven because of his Death on the Cross

Thats my personal belief thats my point

Whether or not you believe in God is up to you and is a search you must make on your own


but if you have never searched for Him (I do not know if you have or not) then how can you doubt Him?

Contempt prior to investigation will keep a man in everlasting ignorance


I am not saying you are ignorant sir! just a little quote I try to live by for MANY things in life
