Long overdo update!

It has been a busy last 5 days around these parts and I have been slacking on the updates. First off, I am going to hold off on putting up details of Saturday's workout. I tried 3 scoops of AS-GT and that was WAY TOO STRONG for me. It hurt the first half of my workout until I got over the uber-stimmed out madness I had going on. Moving on, I did get in a workout these last two days and here is Tuesday's breakdown:

Workout 1:
Leg Extensions - 175x10, 250x8, 250x8 ds 210x7 ds 170x7
Calf Raises (seated) - 135x10x3 sets
Decline Bench - 135x10, 205x8, 205x8 ds 155x8 ds 135x8 Changed my form after watching a video in someone's log about benching, so much more controlled and powerful!
Decline cable cross - 3 sets
Skull Crushers - 65x10, 85x8, 85x8 ds 55x8
Kick backs - 20x10x3 sets Kleen style
Overhead Press - 105x10, 145x8, 145x8 ds 115x8 ds 95x8 Doing better here, we did it earlier in the workout (these are not in order) and was so much better controlled and form was spot on.
Bent over BB rows - 135x8, 135x8 ds 115x8 ds 115x8 (yeah, no weight drop just did it again)
Bicep pull ups - 3 sets of 10 with BW
Abs - weighted sit ups w/ 35 plate, leg lifts

Wednesday - HIIT swimming. Switched to doing 25 sprint/25 easy and then did an extra 3 sprints at the end. Like this schematic, so does my asthma, and I think I am not really missing anything by dropping half of the medium intensity portion.

Weight was an even 186 and after the last weekends shenanigans that is something to be proud of. This weekend I should not have a problem with keeping the diet in order and drinking to a minimum.

Friday workout - Jack3d to the max ;)

Ah what a fun day today, took a break from AS-GT and did a 3 scooper of Jack3d, man I was flying today. Way different feel though I do miss the aminos from AS-GT and the additional carbs, definitely noticed a falling off near the end but the intensity was insane!

Flat DB Bench - 75x10, 105x7, 105x7 ds 75x7 ds 55x6 Those 105s were serious!
Pec Deck - 110x10x3 sets
Dips - BWx10, BW+35x8, BW+35x8 ds BW+17.5x8 ds BWx7 Nasty tri pump!
Rope extensions - 10x3 sets
Weighted abs, floor abs
DB military press - 55x10, 70x8, 70x7, 55x4 Fail! ds 35x4 Uber fail! Did 1 set of 35x10 after my partner finished, I was PISSED!
Rear delt cables - 10x3 sets
Seated row, narrow grip - 100x10, 150x8, 150x8 ds 110x8 ds 80x8 OK, here is my thing with this machine, there is no way that is 150 pounds, I think it is easily 1.5 to 2 times that. We are doing nearly the stack and almost no one can do the stack so the weights have to be wrong.
Preacher curls - 70x10, 95x8, 95x7 ds 70x7 ds 45x10 Bis were on FIRE!
Took an Anabolic pump and finished with 3 scoops of Postal. Great workout though I am shot after this one and happy to end a stressful week on that high note.

It is working pretty well. Having my GF living with me fulltime, well that is not helping the diet aspect too much but she is pretty tolerant... The problem is she keeps taking my Motivate and Black Cats!

Dude I know...just moved together with my girl (temporarily) and the diet thing is hard to manage. But she is becoming very tolerable. She was ok with me cooking 10 chicken breasts and a **** ton of brown rice to get me through the work week last night, and even this morning made my 5 eggs and turkey bacon for me. :sgrin:

As for the supps thing, she wanted to start taking fish oil, so she just picked up some Oximega from my last order.

Mine is finally taking a multi-v 5 days a week and fish oil is next on the list for her. She needs to get to eating 2+ times a day though. I don't know how women can not eat and act like its all ok. Then again, when you were on adderal for 5 years straight you tend to have bad habits to break, like her 500 calorie diet of sugar that she lived on. So much work to do to get her healthy.

Man I know how that is. Believe it or not I spent a year on adderall, and it turned my diet completely upside down. I had worked out prior and stopped, and quickly lost any gains I had during that period. It helped make work/attention better, but not at the risk of my health. I dropped the adderall and forced myself to perform on my own.

I have found that you can work around some of the ADD/attention issues with some dedication and clever use of things like ALCAR. Most people are pretty shocked what 2 grams of ALCAR and a cup of coffee will do for them in the morning. If I am really having focus problems, that really makes a huge difference; and OEP does a great job too!
 
Yeah once they do get in in the workout it is pretty fun. JoAnn hit 115 for 10 reps on squats today and could have added more without any problem. I foresee her hitting 135x10 before the workout we are doing changes again.

She couldn't eat more than 2 times a day and normally one before. Now she has 2 meals and grazes on beef jerky, atkins protein bars, and almonds throughout the rest of the day. She told me she averages shoving some snack in her mouth about every 2-3 hours now. LOL

So I was on my own yesterday and originally I thought that would be a challenge, in hindsight I believe it actually helped. Here lies my first Warrior Workout without a spotter that I got all reps/weights on.

Leg Extensions - 175x10, 255x8, 255x8 ds 215x8 ds 175x6 Legs were SMOKED!
Seated calf raises - 135x10x3 sets
Decline Bench - 155x10, 205x8, 205x8 ds 155x8 ds 135x8 I need to add 5-10 pounds, getting easy.
Decline cable cross - 3 sets of 10
Skull Crushers - 65x10, 85x8 ds 85x8 ds 65x8
Kick backs - 25x10x3 sets
Overhead Press - 95x10, 145x8, 145x8 ds 115x8 ds 95x8
Seated Rows - 100x10, 150x8, 150x8 ds 110x8 ds 80x7

Thanks man, the strength is starting to come along even though I am eating below maintenance. Prime and Formadrol seem to like each other.
 
done with the cables. One hand on each. Cables on the 2 or 3 hole (depending on height) and basically you stand straight, knees slightly bent, and curl to your head both arms at the same time... looks like you are Hercules flexing in the mirror, hence the name...
and by the way, the guns look great while doing them if you have a mirror in front of the cables!!! ;)
 
Oh yes the beloved Hercules curls although these lose a lot of the effect if the station is not wide enough so it really stretches you out. Seems recently a lot of places have shortened the body/distance of the cable crossover stations to save room.

Yes I am going to start doing these, skull crushers are getting old and bothering my elbows. A new challenge sounds like a great test for the TestoPro that I will start in a few days :D!

Holy workout batman!!! Looks like you squeezed alot into this session. I am usually gassed after the 5th exercise

I am doing the warrior workout with some isolation movements to get the increased caloric burn and recomp effect. I mean, 9 Prime a day and Formadrol is giving me near instant recovery so why not go balls to the wall?

Tuesday night - LISS swimming

This was arguably one of the worst days I can remember in my personal life, everything went to crap BUT I still got in and did some work. Nothing special but enough to loosen me up from the Monday destruction. On a happier note, today is a new day and I am feel 10000% better about things so that is something to write home about. Oh, and PM came out today, can it get any better!!!!

Today should be fun, introducing some two handed DB pull overs to get my contest baseline numbers in AND might throw in some stupid DB work for chest... saying I can get a spotter. 105 sounds like something that is in order on incline. TestoPro is going to start for me on Friday, amped for that and my weight: 185.0!!!!! Have not been this light in so long and strong as all get out! :fing02:
