ULTIMA V3 is finally shipping.

We have always said that ULTIMA will continually change and evolve with expanded knowledge of the literature available and real world feedback. Based on these driving forces, ULTIMA has been tweaked ever so slightly.

Reason #1:
Allow for greater flexibility in dosing.

Most, if not all people, were still using less than 1 full serving of ULTIMA and others having to utilize a 1.25 or 1.3 serving size. Not only is this inconvenience, but highly inaccurate. Dosing is now structured such that most everyone should fall into the 1 scoop category and advanced users can utilize the 2 scoop dosing.

Reason #2:
Optimizing performance through more accurate dosing.

We were able to make additions to the formula and raise certain ingredient levels while slightly dropping others. We feel confident that the changes made are for the better and will have the greatest net effect on increased performance possible. Before cries of people claiming changes were made to cut costs, we significantly increased levels of P5P, which is a very large cost in the formula, and left the ultra-high levels of MB12 the same. We still took the approach that no corners should be cut and no concessions should be made.

The additions of Citrulline and Phosphadityl Serine greatly improve the overall pathway exploitation of ULTIMA, increase the mind/muscle connection and help facilitate muscle pumps. While simple on paper, the additions speak much more loudly in real world use.

This latest rendition of ULTIMA is a completely different experience than the two preceding formulas.


Reason #3:
Taste.

Let's face it - ULTIMA did not taste good at all. The addition of a very modest level of carbohydrates helps with overall mouth feel and to help cut the acidity of the mix. We did not want to use a straight shot of just maltodextrin - I mean this is ULTIMA after all. So we utilized Trelahose ans well as Fructooligosaccharides which acts as a fiber and as a prebiotic. Still, health is our overall goal with ULTIMA.

We also feel the addition of the moderate level of carbs will lend itself to having ULTIMA being used as both a pre and intra workout product and will be looking for feedback on this point, specifically.

As stated, ULTIMA is shipping out to retailers and should be updated on the site soon.

I can't wait to get my hands on some of this! Finishing up another tub of V2 currently, but love the additions on this one :cool:

I'm excited but cautious. I will be interested in hearing feed back on the taste. I tried nearly everything I could think of to mask the strong chemical taste to no avail. Will samples be made available?
 
Again, we dont have samples, and I am completely in agreement with you about being weary about the taste. But it is a dramatic improvement over the last run.

Should be at Nutra by the end of next week.

i got my sample and will be taking it this evening with iforce's RV2, wanted to take earlier today but had some family over from up north so hadn't had the time but will definitely post my take on the ultima v3 later on

I agree, Steveoph; the taste is/was better than some of the other pre-workout mixes.
 
I just received my sample of Ultima (new and improved). I can't wait to try it. I love the old version but couldn't handle the taste. Even those who are not taste sensitive should enjoy a better tasting formula.
 
Just got a shipment of the new Ultima into the warehouse. Give us a bit to get the site updated. I've got a feeling these are going to go fast.
