Testing the Testopro

So the past week I finished my 6 weeks of Kleen's full body workout. I have been on the Testopro for about 3 weeks now. I have noticed that I have leaned out and gained strength at the same time. I estimate that I dropped about 1-2% BF during this time and although my calories weren't incredibly high I have increased my strength in both weight and reps in most exercises. I have held weight at a decrease in calories, I am sitting at about 201 at the moment, which makes me think that I am more anabolic than normal, as I typically lose weight quicker when I drop calories. My strength has increased on bench press, squat, leg press, rows, and push press, each at about 2-3 reps an exercise. I noticed my bench press numbers are up at about 245lbs for reps and the 100 lb dumbells are becoming much less of a go for broke sort of attempt at a max than a reasonable working weight for me to bang out 6-8 reps with. Both of these gains I have to attribute to the program I have been running and the Testopro. Squats have gone from 205 for the beginning of the dropset to now 265 at the beginning of the dropset. That gain came more with my increased endurace towards the end of the program (It really took the wind out of me at first), than just a supplement, but I know that I feel like I have gained strength in this area as well.

I will now be returning to a volume routine for 2 weeks or so before taking a "cruise week" and then going back to my adapted DC routine. May be running a cycle before hawaii or perhaps after... debating at the moment. My epi is calling out to me... lol. I'll have to be picking up some cycle support from my friends at AI soon.

My perform is almost out, but my shipment should be here tomorrow... which means I am golden for the foreseeable future. Libido is still redonkulous. I really don't feel like I need to go into details but I am having a LOT of sex. More than usual. I thought I was a horn-ball until I used this stuff. I really see this as a great addition to PCT's to harsh cycles, or what I think might be a better use (just speculation) would be to use it as soon as one comes off their serm, as I seem to get a immediate boost in libido from both clomid and torem, but my libido has a crash about 2-3 months post PCT... dunno what the deal has been, but the last two cycles seemed like I was most effected a couple months post cycle. This usually only lasts a few weeks, but a bottle of this would get you right through IMO.

I will be noting the difference, if any, to what I notice from the testopro during the change in workouts.

Great stuff G! Glad you enjoyed the program too. YOu must be looking pretty sharp you have done a lot of recomping this year Gain some cut some gain some cut some you gotta look good now for sure.

It's been a big re-comp year for me. I went through a bunch of bullsh*t last year with a long-term relationship ending and I let myself get sloppy on the diet side. I got bigger, but not in the cleanest way. I know my chest has shaped up and gained a lot, but I really think a lot of the weight gain has been in my legs, I have just been catching them up to the rest of my body. I am going to have to really dial in my diet here soon, as I am getting to the body-fat level that I start becoming stagnant at. I have also been re-teaching myself how to lift (got strong but with bad habits at first) this past year. It has been humbling but eye opening at the same time to back off the weights and watch myself grow and fill out my frame better. It has been the first year that I really deviated from my old volume routine which has made me learn a lot of knew exercises and techniques to add to my workout.

Cool, it is always nice to realize new gains and learn some new stuff. I love learning new things all the time about this, & the body in general.

Glad you liked both of them!

Yea I have enjoyed this run so far, and I still have at least a week left of the Testopro. Far from over! 3 more battles with the iron left!

That's the spirit!! The battle with the iron-foe is never truly over.:duel:

Very detailed and informative pre-review G. :clap2:

Had a great volume workout yesterday. Worked on Chest, Shoulders, and Tri's. Got a really good upper body pump and did some exercises I haven't got to do in a few weeks. Lost a bit of strength on my weighted dips, but I did them after skull crushers, so I was probably nearly out of gas before starting them.

DB bench - 75x12, 100x7, 100x5 drop 85x4 drop 65x9
Cable crossover gripping the ball of the wire, not the handle - 65x10 x 3 sets
Hammer Military - 1 platex10, plate+25 x 10 x 3 sets
lateral db raise - 15x10, 20x10, 30x10
Skull crusher - 35's x 10, 45'sx7, 45'sx4 drop to 35'sx7
Dips - BWx10, +45x10, +90x5

Nice work, looks like a fun lift!

It was a great lift. I don't feel like workouts like this make me grow the best, but they are really mentally restful/rewarding when taking a break from the different programs that I use. I just work on my favorite exercises, go for reps, and get a good pump going. It's a big break for my psyche and get's the "overtraining itch" out of my system.

So I hit the gym again yesterday, perhaps the first two day in a row workout I have done in a LONG time, but I had the itch. So I did back and biceps, and I felt pretty strong. I can see myself hitting some PR's next week.

Pull ups - BWx10, +25x8, +45x5, BWx6, (pulldowns) - 150x10
BB rows - 135x10, 185x10, 225x9, 135x10
Deadlifts - 225x10, 315x10, 405x2, 445x1 (sweet! felt really strong) overhand grip is a bitch after 315. Feels better on my back though.

Preacher curls w/ ezbar - 25'sx12, 35'sx8, 35'sx6
pinwheel curls - 35'sx10, 50x10, 50x6
Cable bb curls - 110x15, 140x8, 140x4

Felt really strong yesterday. My aggression is pretty high, and my confidence is the same. I feel really good right now, and I think I am shaping up for summer well. Slow and steady, but I'm not dropping a ton of muscle, if any, either. I have 2 more months to lean out for june, so I'm pretty optimistic on the shape I can be in this summer. Hopefully I can find a good fat burning stack here in a week or so.

Looking good bro.

The back is stellar as always G. Beast mode on the Deads!!

If you can put up 275+ on bench by the end of the year and you're working your lower body comparatively, you should definitely be able to push up 350+ on squats!!

Good lifts and great review!

Nice workout.... You'll hit those numbers for sure this year!

I'm kinda on the tall/lankey side of things. I don't have an incredibly strong BB bench, but now that I have been working on my technique it is growing steadily. My squat however, again I am working on my technique, is weaker by comparison... They are just difficult lifts for me. I still do them EVERY week, and I am making gains... I am just one of those people who can out-row their bench and DL WAY more than they can squat. I'm just built for pulling exercises I guess, the pushing ones are harder for me.

I wouldn't put you in a lanky category Bro! I saw you smaller than you are now and not as lean and you had thickness to you then.

Thanks bro. I just meant that I have long limbs... not that they didn't have muscle on them. I just have a really long way to go when I squat and bench to hit a deep rep. All your pointers on squats have helped IMMENSELY though. Especially where I grip the bar when I squat to push my chest out... that alone has made me excel leaps and bounds further than where I was. If you guys get a chance to work out with Mr. Kleen... take up the chance, the dude knows what's up.

You've just described me to a "T" bro. We fall into the same category here. I'm a monster "puller" and only a modest "pusher". It goes all the way back to when I started lifting too. Even as a beginner my back and bi's just took off. They grew in size and strength on a weekly basis it seemed.
But I've had to work and will my way towards stronger pushing exercises. Now I enjoy them just as much. Even though my back and bi's still outperform my other muscle groups.
You touched on something one time that I agree with. You said that being a strong puller leads to more useful functional strength that can be used in everyday situations. I totally agree. Most jobs require back strength and you're frequently using your biceps also when grabbing and loading things.

Thanks Bro, I am glad that helped you out. When I figured that out things really changed for me and my leg development.

So who else enjoyed watching Mir get his ass handed to him by Corwin?!!!! I can't wait to see Corwin knock Lesnar the f*ck out. That guy has anvils for hands... seriously. I wish they showed Mir KO'd on the ground longer... I would have relished every second of that smug butthole getting his just deserts.

Oh yea, GSP is the man... and that red-headed guy in the preliminary fights got ROBBED.

Totally agree with you about the fights!

What's the status on Lesnar? He's been out for a very long time now. How long will they let him retain the title before he's required to defend it?

And I agree about GSP........he's a freakin' machine!!

nice review man. Your logs are always moneh!

Lesnar and Carwin are going to fight for the Heavyweight title on July 3rd.

I just got off youtube watching Brock train for that fight. He's looking good. Big as a fukkin' house. But so's Carwin. That will be the fight to watch. Brutality will be unleashed!!

Brock will be to much for Carwin and I like Carwin. Brock is a beast and someone with power and speed that Carwin has never dealth with before. He will not be able to try and get Brock backed up on the cage so he can punch him. If he get close enough that brock can take him down it will be lights out for Carwin.

I don't know man he was having a heck of a time handling Cotoure until he got him with that shot. A bigger guy with the same or similiar skills could fight off Brock I think. I wonder what Brock steps in the Octagon at, he barely makes weight the night before a fight he must easily be 285 walking in to the ring.

Lesnar is a much bigger person than Carwin and that will be much different for Carwin (you could see the difference when they were standing in the cage). Mir has always been overrated to me and this fight showed that he will never be what he thinks he is.

Interesting little fact: of the 6 men to have been champion more than once (Hughes, Couture, BJ, GSP, Mir, and Sylvia), only Mir has never successfully defended the title.

agreed, but that could be said of both... but...

Brock is indeed big at 285, but he's in much better cardiovascular condition than most people realize. He's a machine in his workouts.

Plus, there is always the cardio question that surrounds Carwin.

my point exactly! for some reason, most disagree...

Brock's not ripped like he was when he was in the WWE. And he was probably juicing back then also. But he's got LOTS of wind. He can just keep on going and going. Plus with his wrestling background, there's no getting that huge motha-fukker off of you when he starts riding you.

I think he is a beast! However his attitude and lack of sportsmanship is frustrating to me. He comes in and acts like a pro wrestler, not showing class. I like to see some mutual respect after a fight not the obciusly bigger guy kick sand in the other guys face after beating him. Just a personal preference. I like the respect most fighters show each other after a match. I don't really care what they said before the fight to hype it. Once it is over an done there is something to be said about being a class act. Like say GSP is. He is a true champion. Not saying that Lesnar isn't a champion, he definitely is. However when some more of the pro football players and pro wrestlers start moving over he will find more competition close to his size and then things will be more interesting. Now it is like watching a huge bully have his way with normal size kids. LOL

It's simple marketing with him. He stands out because he goes against the grain so much and is the first MMA "villain." It's too close to pro wrestling for most, but it does exactly what he wants: gets him attention and people will buy the PPV to watch him fight, which also increases the amount of money that he makes each fight.
