The world of body building can be a greuling task. We often reach plateau's that are hard to break, we often feel sick from eating so much, we often feel like crap from dehydration (sometimes you dont even realize you didnt drink enough water), and yet we go back for more every week.
I want this post to motivate others and motivate me when I read others motivations. Sometimes we need that little kick in the a** to keep pushing and getting stronger.
I have a lot of motivating factors but here is one I just realized today:
I shoveled snow from around my girlfriends parking spot and spent 2 hours making sure it was good for the duration of time it takes for the snow to melt. I put some chairs out, like we ALWAYS do and always WILL DO in Boston, and a few hours later I heard the chairs moving. I knew it wasn't time for her to get home from work yet, so I looked out the window. Wouldnt you know some ignorant MF'er was taking my spot. He felt compelled to take my spot, not having spent any time shoveling or anything. To some this may seem petty, but in Boston this is a way of life. I was filled with rage and went outside and yelled at the piece of garbage. The piece of garbage ignored me and kept walking. So I spent 2 hours burying his car in with snow and waited for the time when he would come out to leave. Unfortunately I didn't see him leave and have heard nothing since.
Today at the gym I pictured that piece of craps head on the weights and kept slamming them, motivated to push more weight then last time. Gave me a new anger that I needed today. Man I'd like to invite him to a boxing match!!
