Kleen's Down with O.E.P. Yeah you know me...

Yah I was a pretty big Aerosmith fan back in the day, I am actually using one of their more modern songs for my routine.

9 fuggin lbs!! you kiddin me!! I know the fat is melting off me as well but not 9 lbs in what 10 days!! :squint:

you have to remember i put on 24lbs in around 2 months when i started trt. what with 2 a day cardio's on top of 3 a day oep i am getting out of it what i am putting into it. a hell of a lot of sweating involved here.
btw-old aerosmith is where it's at. train kept a rollin, baby.

OEP - Hot! Hot! Hot! I just have to mention how much I sweat this morning and I only took 1 OEP and 1 Recreate. I was dripping nonstop. I actually rang out my shirt and my shorts after my workout before putting them back in my gym bag if that tels you anything. Just drenched, but never an over stimmed feeling. Smooth sailing, but sailing along indeed. So far I am very pleased with this. I also expect my LBM to level off or turn around and start coming back up with my planned dietary changes listed at the end of this post.

Picture this I get up and take my OEP do my fasted cardio, the Eviscerate from the previous evening starts a burnin... I take a shower apply more Eviscerate and start my shaving I apply the hot water to my face and suddenly my whole body feels like it's on fire!! I mean this is really fuggin warm!!

WOW its embarrassing how late I am for this, but Im definitely IN as of right now!!! LOL I hope you get some nice results out of this Mr. Kleen! Recreate is one of my favorite USP supps and I was planning on running and OEP/Recreate stack starting next month to get tightened up for a SB trip to Vegas, so I hope this treats you well and that I can pick up some good pointers from your log.

Yah the new Aerosmith is a trbute to my wife, I still like the song but old is better for training...

Yah I forgot you would be holding a lot of water with those gains...

BigT is a beast eh, 9 lbs he is kicking the cardio ass.

hey kleen, if you only take 1 oep before workout are you taking 2 more split up through the day or just 1?
I take one before then when I get home I eat then take my shower and take another one after that. Then I will take one between 11:00AM and 1:00PM.

So I have to ask, out of that 24 lbs how much do yo think was water retention from the suddenly higher levels of test? How much was muscle and how much do you think was fat? How has your diet changed ratio wise since then?

Picture this I get up and take my OEP do my fasted cardio, the Eviscerate from the previous evening starts a burnin... I take a shower apply more Eviscerate and start my shaving I apply the hot water to my face and suddenly my whole body feels like it's on fire!! I mean this is really fuggin warm!!

Yeah I still haven't bought the Eviscerate, I keep thinking about it but I worry that instead of a burn it may give me an itchy feeling. I get those from tingle factor tanning lotions and it is almost unbearable due to the itching. I do understand that moisture reactivates the Eviscerate though so the water from shaving getting it hot makes sense. I keep hoping they will get some penetrate back in so I can make my own mix that has been working really well for me.

Current,
Depleted weight 199 lbs
Weight after 150 gram carb refeed no water for liquid for 90 min before and none after. 200.25 lbs.
Chest 5 down 2 mm, Abdomen 16 down 1mm, Thigh 5 down 2mm = 8.5%
200.25x8.5 =17.02125 Lbs Fat
200.25-17.02 = 183.23 LBM

Fat lost = 3.58 - I am pleased with this, just under 2 lbs a week is a very good loss.
Muscle Loss = 2.17
Like I said I am attributing most of this if not all to loss of glycogen and water weight. I even said on here somewhere I expected between 2-4 lbs of LBM loss due to this. Losing only 2.17 lbs of LBM, I am on the low end of that and that is fantastic! Even with a 150 gram carb refeed I would not be able to fill my muscle back up sufficiently but I am doing them in steps to see what effects each level of carbohydrate refeeds does to my body. I think with 300-600 grams of carbs over the course of a day I would be able to add another 2 lbs to my current LBM just in glycogen and water. I will be testing different levels on weekend refeeds as I go along to find what is best for me.

Yah I don't think there was any lbm loss, you'd just got done bulking and 2 lbs of water would be pretty normal in that situation.

I am having a lot of luck with anabolics in my diet as you know from my log.. it's crazy when I look in the mirror and think, damn how can I not have lost 2 or 3 lbs looking like this. This weeks weigh ins are going to be very interesting..

You are definitely right. I went back and changed it to LBM anyway because it was definitely not muscle loss. If you look in my other log all of my weights went UP this weekend, this would not have happened it I actually lost muscle.

Steven Tyler lives in the next town over from me. He is in rough shape again back in rehab for pain pill addiction.

Yeah I heard about that, then they tried to start a rumor that he was leaving Aerosmith. He was like Uhm NO!!!

Just before he went to rehab there was a picture taken of him in liquor store right here in Pembroke. Poor guy maybe rich but has gone through hell and back.

That sucks considering how long he was totally clean well of alchohal anyway. Dang... Here is to wishing him the best. Ah so you live in Pembroke, was wondering where the screen name came from.

Yes Pembroke, MA has been home for a long time now. I also wish him the best.

Yah you know when you don't hear from them in a while that something like this is happening. They are such gifted song writers ... too bad...

Here is a picture of Tyler in the store. Dude with him is my cousin a real scumbag.

Wow and he (Slavin) is getting totally dogged in the comments section too.

stevie was into some heavy sheit in his early days of aerosmith. i saw them about 4 times in early to mid 70's-indy was always included on their tours back then. they had to cancel a big concert at the old market square arena because the rumor was stevie was too stoned to remember the words. the man has lived the life of a rock star and has gotten many benefits from being a star, but it is sad to see someone who had it all have too pay the price for that lifestyle. but like he sings in the song 'i wouldn't change a thing'. if you all haven't heard the album 'get your wings' it is a true classic and is aerosmith at their best, imo. train keep on rolling.

No doubt one of the greatest bands ever. In my opinion much better than the Stones, I know I know but hey I said it.

He is my cousin but he totally deserves all of it. This was a attempt to get his name out there. He is not a full time actor in Boston. He is basically a legend in his own mind. If it were not for his wife who works her ass off there would be no house.

OEP = Running when you should be walking.

I went out for lunch to take a walk. I changed because I took an OEP about an hour before I left for my walk and knew I would sweat. Returning to work in sweaty work clothes is frowned upon by the users whom I must sit next too while fixing computers so I changed. Well good thing because what was supposed to be a 3 mile walk ended up being a 1.5 mile walk and a 1.5 mile jog. The way out is rolling hills but mostly going down then up for a short bit then a long down again. I walked all of the way out and kept wanting to start running. When I turned around to go back I still wanted to run so I told myself I will just jog up to the top of that first hill. Well I got going and then it was the second, then third hill then I was crossing the bridge of the bayou and running up the stairs on the other side before I made myself stop so I could recover and slow my sweating before getting back to work. I walked the couple of blocks as slowly as I could make myself an estimated 3.5 MPH lol slow HA, not for me it ins't. Remember I have dachsund legs. LOL EIther way too much smooth energy to just walk it.

Also interestingly enough I found that running outside was not as bad on my glute as the treadmill is. Very surprising, since it actually requires more work from the glutes. The treadmill pushes your leg back, you have to push your own leg back running outside. Maybe the treadmill is jamming my leg up into the muscle or joint causing the issue, unlike my natural stride. So I may jog more often at lunch since there is an even asphalt trail to do so on. Running in my neighborhood gives me issues because it is all concrete and all sloped to let the rain run off the sides. So running gets you all screwed up on one side. I am definitely very happy with this development.

my dog loves to go for jogs in the park, we go every chance we get when weather is decent enough.

And now with OEP on your side he tires out before you do I bet. I kind of want to get another dog big enough to go jogging with me. I miss my pit bulls. However homeowners insurance is just too damn expensive if you have them. Best dogs i ever raised or bred. What kind of puppy ya got?

got 2, one i got from pound and is my baby-he is golden retriever/welsh corgy mix-a rescue dog. and i have fritzy-my blond full german shepard. my shepard is strong as an ox-i had to buy chain by the foot at hardware store to hold his azz. if i take ted my corgy mix, i can go easy. if i take fritz i better be ready to go all out. fritz is a freaking monster- i have to wrap his chain around my waist.

WOW, that sound like fun. I had a luecistic (all white but not albino)German Shepard but she was stolen from me. I was so sad. Was truly horrible to see it. I walked out because I heard her barking a lot. Sounded like she was playing with something. When i got outside she had just cleared the 6 foot fence and ran to the car where they were calling her with food. Once she got to the car they just told her to get in. I had her trained pretty well so she obeyed. I tried to catch the car but they got away before i could even get close enough to see the plates. They must have been feeding her and stuff when we weren there for her to jump the fence and go to them.

oh, man-that's tough! i think i would probably be pissed as hell then shed a tear or two if that happened to fritzy. my animals are family members to me.

Yeah she was given to me as a birthday present the night of my birthday party, same night my brother was shot to death at my birthdfay party. I named her Genie after my brother Gene, then they stole her 3 weeks before my next birthday. I cried for quite a while after i finished chasing them for 5-6 blocks hoping they would get caught behind some cars at a light. They saw me come out and sped off and ran lights to get away. Was horrible.

i hate to think what you would have done to them if you had caught them. with the adrenaline of running after them plus the anger, i think some necks might have been cracked. sheit it makes me pissed just thinking about it- sorry man, don't mean to bring back bad memories.
get another dog, i can't imagine being without one.

We have a really cool little French Pug / French BullDog mix. He is like the perfect little dog for a guy. He is all stocky and muscular like a mini pit with a bull dog face and bat ears. LOL He is fun but not a dog I could run with. his little pug nose can't move oxygen that fast for that long. My other dog passed about 6 months ago she was 15.5 years old Pit and I can't bring myself to replace her yet. I am just not ready. The one we have is a family dog but she was MINE, and the dog that I get will be mine too, not a family dog. I just have to make sure my heart is in it first. Six's death was a very horrible way to go and it scarred me so it may be a while. I am just now even entertaining the idea of a dog for me.

I just gotta say, I wasnt too much of an animal lover before I met my wife but we picked up a Jack Russell Terrier. 2 lbs as a baby and now shes gonna be 4yrs old, 9 lbs. The emotion I have for this little pup is undescribeable. I can only imagin when I have kids. Needless to say, I love pooches!! all kinds!

Ok this is just freaky... I had a Pit bull and a Pug also... The Pug was the boss, it was hilarious as pugs tend to be. They think that their so tough and they're basically incapable of doing any damage. The key to Pit bulls is they are pets not guard dogs. Pit bulls take everything to heart and that is not a good thing when applying discipline as they are rather unsure of themselves. They are extremely affectionate and need a lot of attention.

Man, that's about the harshest experience I have ever heard of. Very sorry to hear you had to endure something like that.

this is great! glad to see i am not the only one who is so attached to his animals! since our kids are grown my wife and i call our animals our kids, they are rotten, lol.

Once again so many parallels in our personality and lives.

Kind of a long story but to shorten it, a guy showed up at our party one of the neighbors. Asked if he could hang he had always been cool so we wereokay with it. Well he apparently brought coke with him and went and snorted a few rails then beat his girlfreinds butt in my garage. I wasn't there I just went on my first legitimate beer run since I just turned 21. One of my friends beat the guy up for it. They guy came back with a gun to shoot my friend. We hid the guy and called the cops while he was looking for him. He was escelating and my brother got protective over me and hit the guy and fought to take the gun. A cop (was a rookie) showed up by himself without backup, and went in anyway... (against policy when a gun is known to be present) told the guy to drop the gun. He did but then he went to go for it again and my brother jumped for it to get it away from him and got it first, the cop panicked and shot my brother. Was a lot of lawsuits and what not a lot of lawyers taking the case and then dropping the case from pressure from the city or something. The cop ended up getting a 6 week vacation with pay waiting for the hearing. Gee how appropriate. The guy who brought the gun ended up serving about 2 years but that is all. I saw him about 6 years ago at the gym and my buddy had to stop me from caving his head in with a dumbell. I just went to go after him and he was able to get in front of me and cool me out had me stay in the freeweight side while he told the manager to have the as*hole removed from the premises if he expected to leave breathing. Bad thing is my brother was the one who planned my surprise birthday party. We were best friends at the time. He was 3 years older than me. Funny he was like 138 lbs, and I was always actually bigger than him. Protected him, so the fact he finally had his chance to be his lil brother protector he died on the highest note he could have in my eyes. As my hero.

Man, that's about the harshest experience I have ever heard of. Very sorry to hear you had to endure something like that.
Thanks DW, It was rough and i wasn't sure I was gonna make it through for a while. Nobody else was either I went to a very dark place for a few years. Honestly I didn't want to make it through then. I felt it was all my fault. Crazy thing is, my birthday is Monday the 1st. Right around the corner, so no wonder this came out from talking about dogs. This is a hard time of year for me. I am holding my head up though. My bro loved my body building and the fact I am actually competing now which he alsway wanted me to do makes me feel like I am making him proud.

this is great! glad to see i am not the only one who is so attached to his animals! since our kids are grown my wife and i call our animals our kids, they are rotten, lol.
Without kids, dogs are the closest thing to them.
That's what my wife says too.. she's my second wife and we never had kids together but instead we had dogs...

Funny, my first wife and I never had kids, LUCKILY, but we raised PitBulls and bred them. Most eager to please dogs you can ever have. Unfortunately most of the DB's that want them want them to make them tough or mean and since they are eager to please they do what the master wants.

wow, brutal stuff Kleen..the things we go thru in life, unreal.
you came out the other side tho, as winners do.

I need to put my sig back in place:
'It ain't about how hard you can hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward..that's how winning is done.'

I've been to some pretty dark places myself, so I know it's not easy to keep grinding it out sometimes.

on another note - early Happy Birthday wishes.

wow-that is truly a sad story.
much props for still being a good guy after all that.

Pics finally posted.

Thanks Snags, I forgot I forwarded them to work to see if i could load them from here. I can. I had to go back and compare the two sets of pics. Not much of a difference in the abdomen at all. If anything the skin is looser being that my waist shrank up over 2 inches during this two weeks making it look a little softer and almost bunched up looking in areas. Yeah i know if I didn't point it out you all may not even notice but to me it is like a beacon. Such are our insecurities. However you can see and extra line in the abs in the second set they just look softer i think. I also noticed when comparing the shots that I was standing taller, chest up in the first pics and not the second. I knew I was relaxed in the first set when i took the second set so I took it all relaxed. I have a bad habit of letting my rib cage come down. My lats have always been big and I used to get picked at for walking around bowed up all the time even though I wasn't. So i started to sag my chest down to put my arms in front of my lats so they didn't stick out as far. Now I am fighting to get better posture there and it is not an easy adjustment to make. Anyway without further (Oh hell I can spell that french word we'll do the redneck spelling) ah-doo. LOL

Fat pockets on underside of chest is smaller.

You can see an extra line coming in on the side of the abs.

By the time I hit 8% my abs should be becoming more prominent. Only 1 lb of fat away right now but it will all come from my abs and that will make a huge difference.

By the way thanks for the B-Day wishes and I think you and I have talked about the similarities in the meaning of our sigs before when you had that up.

Live Hard, Laugh Hard, Love Hard and Heal Fast!

You can't live like that andnot get hurt so you better figure out how to get back on your feet quickly.

wow-that is truly a sad story.
much props for still being a good guy after all that.

Thanks BigT! I appreciate it.

I mentioned some planned changes to my diet earlier this week, including some carbs around training. Well I started thinking longevity and injury prevention and I will be redoing my diet strategy. Something closer to a 40-30-30 with the 40 being protein. I just feel the carbs will keep my joints lubricated more. I noticed joint issues as soon as I started to dry out from cutting carbs down to almost nothing. I believe I will also cycle the carbs more so it would be more like 40P-40C-20F on training days and 50P-20C-30F on cardio days. It will be dynamic as I respond to how my body is responding. Either way i know i want my fats moderate - high and my carbs low - moderate for at least the next 2 months. After that the poundages I am lifting should be lower and I won't be doing as much damage and can lower carbs gradually so as to not make a sudden change and shock my system.

After that the poundages I am lifting should be lower and I won't be doing as much damage and can lower carbs gradually so as to not make a sudden change and shock my system.

LOL

You can see an extra line coming in on the side of the abs.

By the time I hit 8% my abs should be becoming more prominent. Only 1 lb of fat away right now but it will all come from my abs and that will make a huge difference.

my stomach is flat on bottom of belly button but has a little layer above it, weird.:dunno:

somebody rep that man!

(my rep button is still broke or something..)
Thank you Sir.

Yeah I just decided lets go at this more even headed this time see how much more muscle I can bring to the table and keep my joints in check. I looked back at my recomp thread from this summer and I did really well and felt great on those ratios so I am thinking a little closer to that for a bit. Stay healthy, and only go totally low carb if I need to once I am down low enough to know for sure it is required. I just got spoiled to my muscles being full. Not happy with the flat look or the dry joints.

Trying to picture that but I cant get an image in my head.

In way late. Great log man. I have two bottles of OEP in my closet wait for my cut starting in March. Looks like it's really gonna help. Keep killing it man!

Oh the way I am thinking you abolutely are!! Just like I know my dad who has been gone for over 20 years is proud of me for becoming sober and being the father he always wanted to be for me. They're watching and smiling, believe it!!

Thanks Brother! Means a lot, and you are right I am sure that you have made your Father proud with who you have become, and the strength it took to get there. Trial by fire, only the strong shall emerge a new alloy, stronger, better, those who are weaker never make it back out of the smelting pot.

Yah I had the strength to ask for help and it's that humility that strengthen me. Funny how that works, the knowledge that I could not do it myself was what made me strong enough. My own self will almost killed me, we were just not made to run on our own power. "Let go and let God". The more I let go the easier life becomes, and the stronger I get. "His will not mine be done."

Day 17 - Things are changing.

I have to say that I feel like I look much better in the mirror this morning. I imagine I am filling up a little over the past 2 days reintroducing carbs into the mix. That and my lower abdomen is starting to get smaller. Pants fit looser and yesterday I had a guy who hadn't seenme in two weeks tell me "Man you cut weight quick!" then another person comment on me getting leaner and asked if I had a comp coming up or something. Then at the gym someone I didn't know asked me if I was getting ready for a competition or something. Pretty cool!
