thanks for the info guys. 1-c for 100 some servings is like $10 on NP so i think i'll pick up a tub of that.
powerfull says to dose 2-3 caps before bed on rest days, but i'm curious as to how you would dose it on off, or at all if you had some 1-c as well.
Like Kleen was saying, take the Powerful ONLY pre w/o and dose the 1-c at nights? I like to take 1.6g which is 2 tsp. You may want to work up to that tho. Start off with 1 tsp pre bed 1-c and then take your powerful pre w/o. Should really make this last. :yup:
Rob you really take 2 teaspoons at a time? Half of a teaspoon is 1600mg or did you mean take two 1/4 teaspoons? I think 6400 mg you are probably waisting quite a bit.
Deadlifts
Dosing:
Breakfast: 1 AP, 1 Prime
Pre W/O: 3 Prime, 3 PowerFULL, 2 scoops VasoCharge (30 min before)
Intra W/O: forgot the xtend at home, took it immediately post w/o
Post W/O meal: 1 AP, 1 Prime
Dinner: 1 AP, 1 Prime
Pre Bed: 3 PowerFULL (don't have the 1-c yet)
obviously the dinner and pre bed will be later in the day, but i include them here for completeness sake.
Deadlifts:
warmup: stretching, straight-legged DL at 135x10 to stretch out the hammies, slow and controlled
working sets: 225x5, 255x5, 285x14*
*12 were done no break, then took about 10 seconds and pumped two more out sumo style
I was completely dead at this point. I inhaled a considerable amount of chalk during the 14 reps and my lungs were burning like i had just been sprinting in 20° weather. Finished up with some ab work, but i was not feelin it after that insane deadlift run.
hhaha oh boy. Yes, I meant 2 1/4th tsp.
Noice workout bra
I know how thick waisted you are being overweight and all. :rasp: So this may not be important for you. LOL I have found that doing vacuums and torso twists after deads or squats is better for me than crunches. It helps keep my waistline smaller by training the abs back under the rib cage because you end up flexing your abs outwards during those lifts to build internal pressure. Like I said your waist line is not an issue for you but anyone who can get a little bit of the "Turtle shell" type of abdomen this is important to do.
Can you imagine if he took 2 teaspoons. You thought you had crazy dreams on 10 sprays of Ghen. Imagine the dreams from that... Assuming one would wake up. I am sure they would wake up, but I have no idea what a dose like that would do to your body. Maybe nothing but a GH spike and then a lot of urine peeing it all out.
One of the guys was telling us about a friend of his who ordered 1 gram of Yohimbine and saw the recomended dose was like 6 milligram, he thought it meant 600 milligrams so he decided he would be safe and only take half... Yep that is right half of 600 mg he realized almost immediately what he did and forced himself to vomit but was FLYING, and thorwing up and crap. Can you imagine 300 mg of yohimbine at once. Thank God he called my boy who had him throw that ish up.
yea, man. what beef you got with pullups?
got my 1-c today!! as per met's and kleen's recommendations (thanks again, guys) i'm gonna start with a 1600mg dose tonight before i hit the sack, and see what kind of crazy dreams i have tonight :32:
hey so i took my first dose of the bulk 1-c and i'm curious as to how you guys dose yours? i just took it staright tonight and i need to find a new way to take it. suggestions?
rant
So the gym that i lift at at home has just one powerrack, and one smith. Now what really makes me mad is when knuckleheads who don't know what they're doing in the gym decide to go and do curls in the powerrack when someone is clearly waiting to do something that would actually put the rack to use like squat or bench or military. Gah!
Funny you mention it but I do my Oly bar curls in the power rack. Especially on DC, I need somewhere for the weight to fall when I reach donesky, and I don't have control left to lower the weight into the nice little bar holder. I need bars to catch it. LOL However I do know what you mean about incorrect use of equipment. I used to get frustrated about that stuff. Bottom line though is if they have found a way to use it that suits them, then it is being used correctly. Just not for what you want to use it for. Those guys pay the same dues and got there first as annoying as it is. Like I said I am one of those annoying guys getting the most out of my membership by doing what I need to do at the station of my choice. I will opt for my convenience to get myself in and out of the gym as quickly as possible over what someone else thinks is a better use for the equipment every time. Sometimes that means I am in the power rack doing a curl or an upright row while you want to squat. That is one of the good things about being relatively open in training. Someone using something you want to use, you do something else. You may end up getting a better workout for it. Now don't get me wrong in the heat of the moment it is frustrating to not be able to squat when I am ready but like I said they paid for the use of the gym, got there before me. I can not hate on them for doing what they came to do without concern for me. I wouldn't be concerned for them if they were waiting to use a station I was on. LOL
Only a few rules of the gym are constants. Bring your FUGGIN TOWEL / USE YOUR FUGGIN TOWEL!!!!! That and if you are on the phone get the phuck off of the equipment!!!!!!!! Be willing to allow someone to work in with you is always a nice suggestion but not a rule... Everything else can be overlooked in a public workout forum. Too many variable and goals for a general peice of equipment to have a specific uses assigned to it even if that would be our wish.
i do agree with what you're saying kleen.but these guys clearly did not know what theywere doing. i also wasn't the one waiting to use the rack, for that matter. these were stronger lookin guys and were just foolin around curlin just the bar for a few reps, waiting while the other finished writing a text message or something on his phone let the other guy do a few reps with just the bar. rinse and repeat. then they up and left, it was strange to me. they just came in, did a few sets and left. could've been a deload or something like that. the guy who was waiting politely asked if he could work in with them and they pretty much blew him off.
you are totally right though, kleen. lifting with an open mind really does make the gym a better experience for everyone there.
that must've really sucked man. i guess it'd be too much to ask to find a place that doesnt suffer from one inhibiting weather.condition or another, huh? still, i really wish the roads would clear up some. im going bonkers with boredom!
Man you would be surprised with the workouts you could get around the house. You got to have some heavy and awkward shaped things around you. Pick em up and put em down. LOL Once I filled 20 gallon fish tank half way and used it for resistance. I have used 2 5 gallon buckets filled with water for curls, lateral / front raises, lunges and squatting. Hell you could throw books in a box and do deadlifts with it. Find yourself something that ways 30-50 lbs and do step ups onto your bed mattress so that it is unstable and you have to use all your stabilizers just so you don't fall down. Sit your girlfriend on one end of the couch and deadlift that end of the couch as many times as you can. (better have a good couch for that one.) This is a great one for the snow, go outside and start rolling a snowball just like you would to make a snowman but don't stop when it gets bigger, just keep rolling it and rolling it until you can not move the ball anymore. You wil end up with a 500 lb ice ball that you made then you can carve out the inside for an igloo. Yes I have done this one. LOL If you pour hot water over it and let it ice it will stay all winter long.Just a few ideas incase you are still stuck there and bored out of your mind.
This is a good thread, thanks.

The gym here at home likes to keep the ambient temperature around what feels like 80°...it's HOT in there! Had to splash cold water on my face and head to keep me cool. I'll need to drink a lot more water throughout the day to make sure i'm hydrated, but I can't help but wonder if some of the supps produce a lot of exothermic reactions and me make heat up during the workout.
#s
Squat:
Warmup: some 5 rep sets on the leg sled machine while the power rack was taken, some stretching
Working Sets: 210x5, 235x3, 265x5*
*Had to splash water on my face halfway through this set cause i was overheating badly. Need to drink more water throughout the day.
Nautilus Leg Sled (140lb base):
1 plate / side x 10 x 2
1 plate, 1 quarter / side x 10 x 3
Nautilus Seated Leg Curl:
80 x 10, 95 x 10, 110 x 10, 125 x 10
Other than the massive overheating today, I'm quite pleased, and that was no one's fault but my own, not used to the higher temps in the gym, gotta drink more water! Had a few hotties eyein me up and down while squattin; nothin like a good ego booster huh?
