I am feeling better, but still not 100%. I had a good workout but felt drained early on, probably not eating enough pre-workout.

Supps:

  • Shock Therapy (pre)

Workout: Chest/Biceps

  • Inc Bench: 135x12 185x8 195x6 205x5 135x10
  • Flat Bench: 3x185x8
  • Incline Flys:2x55x8
  • DB Curls: 3x50x8
  • Hammer Curls 3x40x8
  • Preacher Curls: 2x40x8

Effects: I felt a little tingle on my lips while drinking then after about 15 minutes I felt a real tingle throughout my body and a warm sensation in my core. Still staying HOT for a long time post workout, even after taking a cold shower.

Strength:
continuing to progress nicely, especially since I have not used anything other than staples since July other than Ghenerate. No real dropoff since I finished Ghenerate.

Recovery: DOMS are def there after leg day but most other workouts are good the following days.
 
The lip tingling is what I notice from it, I'm using it 2 scoops post with 3 scoops bc+eaa and really liking it. Recovery seems really good and muscle fullness after the workout is good as well.

I like the Beta-Alanine tingles I always get :D Btw, if you take a cold shower after your workout when you are feeling hot, you are only gonna feel hotter efter the shower as your body adjusts to the temperature again. If you take a hot shower you would feel cooler afterwards! (But that doesn't sound tempting when you are already hot;))
Just something I learned during my 3month backpacking in the hot climate of Asia :)

Yeah, I should know this, actually thought about it too. It is just like drinking hot/warm coffee on a hot day, it is more soothing than an ice cold drink.

what flavor BCAA+EAA are you using? Dont want to create some horrible blend. I only have the blue raspberry flavor.
 
sorry for the lack of updates, my modem died . . . I kept checking everything: resetting my computer, resetting the router, resetting the modem . . . . never made sure that the lights on the modem were ON.

I will have to go through my workouts and update soon. I will see how much Postal I have left.

Should be able to get some good workouts in now. I was home by 3:15 today for an appt so now that sports are finished I will hit it hard. Tomorrow I will be in the gym and probably again on Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun.

The rest always does great things for me, I guess working out less may benefit me since I am 40 and recovery is not as great as those teens and 20 somethings. I generally get in the gym 3-4 days/week and that fits my needs and schedule perfectly.

Today's workout was good, felt some energy since I am able to get in early after work, a little psychological edge.

Supps:
  • Shock Therapy (pre)
  • LG BCAA/EAA (intra)
  • LG Postal (post) 2.5 scoops

Workout: Chest/Biceps

  • Wide Pullups: BW +15 3x8
  • Deadlifts: 225x6 295x1 295x1 225x6 felt great on my lower back, really tightened it up and focused on the contraction on the first set
  • Wide Grip BB Rows: 3x135x10 went lighter than normal and held for a 2 count for a great contraction
  • Skullcrushers: 4x95x8
  • CG Bench: 4x135x8 went light and worked for speed, tris were swole!

Effects: Arms felt flushed and swole after drinking Postal, always a little lip tingle and I feel it in my scalp . . . kind of weird.

Strength: on par from last workout, did a little different type of workout by focusing on contractions on back and speed on tris.

Recovery: 1-2 days after workout I still feel some tightness in the muscle groups, not really sore but I "feel" the muscle and know I worked it good. Leg days are still hammered by DOMS, just the nature of the workout until I get it done more frequently I guess.

Decent workout but not great, mainly because I did tris yesterday and then did benching today so my tris were SORE and aching. I def noticed some loss of strength on the last few set of benching. Also, my first 2 sets of curls were killing from a huge pump, it hurt but finally loosened up a bit.

Workout: Chest/Biceps


  • Inc Bench: 2x205x6 2x185x6 2x135x10 usually go about 1-2 inches from my chest because I am not flexible, but I really went deep on the 135 and held it on my chest for 2 seconds, nice stretch
  • Flat Bench: 3x135x10 went light because I really felt pain in my shoulder/clavicle area. Might stop flat bench a little longer
  • Inc Flys: 3x55x8
  • DB Curls: 3x50x8
  • Hammer Curls: 4x40x10
  • Preacher Curls: 2x35x8

Effects: Arms were pumped from the tri/bench/curl workouts from the last 2 days, kind of aching from the workout mostly in the biceps

Strength: increased the inc bench but did not go deep, still good strength overall while on staples. Curls were a little easier once the pump decreased, hammer curls felt good.

Recovery: Great back workout yesterday so I def feel it but not soreness just a little tight. Obviously didnt give my tris enough rest, we'll see how they are doing tomorrow.

Had a few days off because I was watching my VB players in state playoffs. They won their SoCal region and now play a San Diego team. Also, my mom had foot surgery so she was out of commission so had to check in on her.

Workout killed me today, still low on energy from a slight cold. I did get some energy about 1/2 way through so finished strong.

Effects: I did feel some good all day pumps after the chest/bi days, my biceps were feeling nice and tight for 2-3 days; must've been a great workout.

Strength: not great because still a slight cold but I did feel good on squats. Might have been able to get another rep at 275 but I want to be able to walk tomorrow.

Recovery: No DOMS from back/chest/tris/bis the other days. I will wait to see how the legs respond on Wed, that when it hits me hard and I ache.
 
awesome news about the pumps!, congrats on the VB, and hope momma recovers! she might need some Postal:D...

Might have her try the Ghenerate. It seemed to help me not only recover faster but my shoulder healed quickly. Was it a coincidence? Maybe but it hasn't felt the same since being off the Ghenerate.

W/O went well, I kept the wt the same or lightened up a bit and went for very strict form and higher reps. Still not 100%, slight cold so energy was low towards the end of the workout.

Felt slight pain in my shoulder, better get the Ghenerate going again.

Flat bench:
3x135x15
Yeah, I know the wt was light but it felt pretty good on my shoulder even though it hurt on incline. I think going slightly closer grip helped.

DB curls: 20x12 35x10 3x50x8
Once I get 50 lbs for 12 reps I will go for 55. I keep good form and do not swing my body until the last rep.

Hammer curls: 4x35x15
This was easy but got a great pump. Thought I would change things up a bit and increase my reps.


Effects: Nice full feeling after the w/o and even better after my POSTAL. Biceps are aching from being tight and I could barely bend my arms to get my shirt off.

Strength: Staying pretty much the same but I did increase my rep range while lowering wt slightly. I think once I am over this cold I will have some killer w/o.

Recovery: Legs are sore but nowhere near the pain I experience typically. I usually feel the leg DOMS on day 2, and it hurts as I get out of bed, this time it was slight.

I have about 3 more workouts left on POSTAL so this should finish out the week. I plan on tossing in M1D and Ghenerate at the end of the week and once I finish Shock Therapy I will add in Anadraulic State. Not sure if I will log this stack, might take this cycle off. Dont worry, I have enough stock-piled to run it again around May but I'll also add in MMV2. I will definitely give a review of the stack and T911, I have not run that yet and am excited!

Still focusing on lighter wt and perfect form with good contractions. Back felt really good today, looking at upping wt on DL soon but going for good reps now.

Effects: Feeling really good all over today, arms are tight and chest is tender but good.

Strength: Each set is good but tough to compare with the lighter wt. Stuck with good wt on tris and finished strong until the rope ext, those killed me but the pump was good.

Recovery: Legs feel great and the chest/bis are tight but not really sore.
 
It's kind of funny, my legs never felt horrible and painful like they can get but I have felt a slight pain for several days. I am doing legs today but they do not feel 100%. I am sure they will loosen up once I get them going so let's get it on! I have started dosing M1D so this will be about day 3 so this will make things more fun I hope.

Felt really good early on, excited to get into the gym. The energy went throughout the workout, kind of a mental edge I guess. Kept the wt moderate and really focused on form, sometimes even pausing at the bottom of the rep and checking my form.

I really want to finish my tub of Universal Shock Therapy. It is a solid product that lasts for 50 workouts so it is a great price/serving @ 70 cents/serving. I am just anxious to get on the Anadraulic State, bought 6 tubs when NP had them on sale for $29! I guess they were clearing space for the new formula. I have no problem with the original so I stocked up!

Seems to be increasing, the focus and power was up probably from the M1D starting to get some kick. Cant wait til week 3/4, this is when it is FUN! I might push it to 5 weeks with M1D so I have some time with the AS.

Recovery: tris are still swole from Saturday and the back feels great! Does the Postal have a cumulative effect? Should the recovery aspect get better with continuous use? I will be able to comment on that myself in a couple of days after today's leg w/o, by far the most taxing of workouts and worst with DOMS.

DB Curls: 3x50x8

Hammer Curls: 4x40x12

DB Curls for pump: 2x20x15 and they were pumped on each contraction, >>>>>swole


Strength: Def feeling the kick from M1D and I LOOK bigger. I wasnt gaining wt before M1D but shirts def fit different :). Now with M1D I am gaining wt, it's been about 6 days and I am up 3 lbs. Not tons but it is only the beginning. Next week I will add in AS!!!!

Recovery: Arms are still swole from triceps w/o! A little tightness but not sore. Legs are exhausted from yesterday but we'll see how they respond the next 2 days.
 
Maybe I missed it, how are you dosing it? I really Enjoy M1-D..serioulsy good stuff!, adding in AS will really amplify things..
 
M1D dosing is 3 in the morning and 3 pre-workout or late afternoon on non-workout days.

I am gonna put the AN Shock Therapy in the closet, probably another 10-15 servings. I am gonna start the Anadraulic State TOMORROW!!!!

I am still keeping wt moderate and focusing on strict form and great contractions. I am getting some nice pumps doing this, arms were swole after tricep work. I didnt get my dealifts in, rack was occupied. This will keep me fresh for squats today so I will be at 100% with no excuses for not pushing it hard.

Skullcrushers: 1x75x12 3x95x8 2x75x10

Close Grip Bench: 3x135x12 2x105x15 held the bar on my chest for 2 sec and then worked on explosive push up

Pullups: 3x BW +15 x 8 2xBWx12

Strength: Great feeling throughout the workout, I just wanted to keep pushing more. Tough to gauge strength increase as I focus on contraction and form. Maybe up the wt next week.

Recovery: I never felt the DOMS in my legs after squat day, sure they were tired but I was not hurting like normal. I did add some BCAA/EAA into the Postal maybe that had some effect.

Still changing things up but still the same too. Legs were fresh and ready since I didnt get my DLs in yesterday. I also did my db lateral raises and front raises before military press for pre-exhaust. Last time I did this it was great for growth so we'll see how it affects me. I have one more day pf POSTAL, that will be Monday with my chest/bicep workout.

Staying consistent as I keep wt the same or drop it, but I am doing higher rep and better contractions.

Recovery: This has been improving since I have been adding BCAA/EAA to my Postal. Tris are still swole and tight from yesterday but no real pain. Last leg w/o did not kill me on recovery but it was a difficult w/o, we'll see how I recover from today's routine.
 
Feeling more tired and sore in my shoulders than in my legs, very unusual. It is probably from doing the hi-rep pre-exhaust before military press.

Legs feel pretty good.

Extreme pumps today, it was painful on the contraction during curls. Kept reps in the moderate range and still focusing on form and contraction, that's why I am getting the extreme pumps. Next week I think I will push it hard and up the wt on compund lifts to force some growth with all the assistance I am receiving from M1D, AS, and now Ghenerate.

I am sad to finish my Postal, it seemed to work better over time as recovery improved. I will sub in Torrent and see how that treats me in comparison. Once Postal is available at NP I will grab some!

Recovery: Amazingly legs are feeling good after leg day, and the 2nd day is when the kill me the most. I really feel more pain in the shoulders from the pre-exhaust routine. It is def helping recovery by adding in extra BCAA-EAA.

It is one insane stack man!

Starting to see some comp effects and def size. I am up about 4 lbs, I am at my sticking point ~175 lbs. I am hoping that this stack will help me jump it up a bit to 180, never been there before. Even though the wt gain is not yet huge I am seeing clothing fit differently. Worst part is I replaced some polos because they were getting a little obscene, now the new shirts fit perfectly. I bought them 3 weeks ago and they fit with some space to grow . . . tada, I am growing. Wished I had gotten some pics. Maybe I'll toss up some after pics at end of M1D, and then PCT.

Well I am finished with Postal and really liked it. The ingred profile was top-notch and recovery was enhanced when I added in 1-2 scoops of LG BCAA-EAA. I will probably start a new log to chart my progress with the LG lineup I am currently running. Maybe I will go to GNC and get some more Postal.

Strength: I love M1D and expect some nice gains the next 2-3 weeks. I was focusing on strict form and contraction and will continue to do so but up the wt slightly.

Recovery: Never feeling the DOMS as I am upping my intake of BCAA-EAA. Between sets is getting better as I added in Ghenerate. This will take a couple of weeks to get the full effects of Ghenerate: increased sweat, between set recovery, long-term recovery, strength increase.
