New Ecdy Product - LegalGear

I know LG has a lot goin on with new products(which is good lol), but assuming all goes as excpected, do you think this could be out by around x-mas?
 
Nice. Very excited for this! I think edcy has a ton of potential, and think this will be a very popular product if it does as planned
 
Has Eric fully decided to release this? I think this has huge potential-and, as someone who has had success with ecdy, I'm very excited. I thnk ecdys great for recomp, cutting, and hardness
 
I did a small test yesterday with ecdy (70% from CV), cyclodextrin and water. Dissolved like magic. It's now time to add in the 12 herbs and spices and get some test bottles going!

Nice-can't wait for this. Have prior experience with a few ecdy products, so I'll throw my hat in if u need testers. Just wanna be clear, this a totally new ecdy extract, correct?
 
I plan on making a large sample of this tomorrow and will send out at least 10 sample bottles. I may do an 8oz version of this, since it needs to be dosed fairly often. I have to check the costs and see, but should be doable.

Ok, here's the deal.

Good news: I made 5 of the 8oz samples. That would allow someone to dose 4 times per day for 30 days.

Bad news: tastes a little rough. Just really bitter... like bitter tea.

So, I am open to pick testers if you want to try it, but no bitching about the taste.

I would very much welcome the opportunity to evaluate your "bitter tea"
I've experimented with many types of ecdy and dose amounts as well as additional support supp's to aid digestion or absorption while using a high protein intake. I have a good understanding of how my body reacts to ecdy so I would be able to comment effectively on your product.
 
Cool, I just made up 5 more so we have 10 samples.

The spray heads are a bit bigger on the 8oz bottles so 2 sprays per dose 4 times per day is perfect...
 
May I ask, I hope you guys are not planning to add in harmful sweeteners into this like Sucralose and Acesuflame-k right?

I just hope that you guys use Stevia as a healthier alternative if you were planning on using any harmful sweeteners like the ones i mentioned above.

Im not on anything right now at all so I wouldn't have any confounding factors....

Yeah. We are using sucralose and Ace K. I don't think they are at all harmful and I am not a huge fan of stevia. Honestly at the dose levels, it doesn't matter too much.

So, dosing would be

4 sprays at 4 different times per day

1) Roughly how much ecdysterone would be in that daily dose? A range would also suffice. I am aware the synergists in the formula should positively influence bioavailability, stability, and effectiveness, but I am curious about the approximate pure ecdysterone content.

2) Would you recommend a daily intake of 2g-3g protein per kg of body weight to testers, to enhance protein synthesis and nitrogen retention?
 
2g of protein should be good. The dose of ecdy is roughly 120mg per day, now remember that it's the frequency and the delivery are key. Also, for the next test batch, we have a new form of ecdy ethanoate ester which I think should help even more. I have a test kilo coming. These are just 20H-Ecdy, but they should be a good test product.

I agree stability and delivery are crucial. I'm interested in how the product evolves.

This should be REAL interesting..

I'm not a fan of CV BUT I am of novel delivery systems, and I'm not aware of anyone that's tried this before.

I do agree that for a test run, this is a good way to go about it. That 120mg/day may not look like enough to those of you familiar with the 5mg/kg of bodyweight dosing often cited in the studies. But it is... How? Let's look at an example:

Bodyweight = 200lbs/2.2 to get to kilos and you get 90.90kg
90.90 kg x 5mg = 454.5mg

The catch is, that 5mg/kg per day guideline was taken from RAT studies. To extrapolate a rat to human dose simply divide by 6.2;

454.5/6.2 = 73.30mg/day

I do believe CV to be inferior to RCE as a source material, but 120mg/day of a cyclodextrin should yield some results...
 
I still don't get how people think that. I did do some research and what I realized is that much of the ecdy that is sold is 90% UV scanned, which is crap. That doesn't test purity at all, which is why this myth of the CV extract being bad is sort of real. I am sending for the HPLC tested stuff in addition to the ecdy ethanoate ester I have coming. This way we can be sure that it is good material.

At issue are really 2 things when it comes to that popular opinion:

1.) Most of the studies showing anabolic effects cite RCE vs. CV
2.) Practical experiece among users supports RCE, in most cases quite a bit less is able to be used giving better results.

The real question is.... is 20H really the only active? If it was, it doesn't explain the discrepancy. I have no doubt you can extract plenty of 20-h from CV or any number of plants/fungi.
 
The most recent study in mice used 20H extracted from spinach and there was a positive result. I think more than anything is the poor quality of extracts out there. Typically the CV extract will be less expensive and then if it is UV scanned it is even less expensive than that. For example 20H ecdy HPLC is about $1200 per kilo where 20H ecdy from UV is $500 per kilo.

This is the point I tried to make in a few earlier posts. Get this right, with a good delivery system and a set of effective synergists, and you have a winner.
 
That study with spinach was quite interesting. Although done in vitro with human muscle cells, the in vivo results in rats were impressive (grip strength, I believe) and are hard to dismiss.

This isn't the first time I've heard positives about a well done spinach extract. It may be something worth looking into as source material. I make a very strong case for alkalizing the system as a synergist for ecdysterone in my course.

Spinach is, as you know a very alkalizing food.
 
Interesting...you'll have to tell me more about that. I am interested in acidosis info, since it may be a bigger issue than anyone thinks!

In all seriousness, I hope this product delivers in the same postive fashion that I have found all the other LG products do. And I trust that it will.

I'd love to run a cycle of the Natadrol once it's ready and then use this Ecdy with some T-911 for a sound PCT.

Ok, I have 10 test bottles sitting for shipment. I am thinking of trashing them because I am not happy with the 90% UV scanned ecdy product (which is what they sent for a test kilo). Should I send some out to be tested (they might work well, just not sure) or should I trash them and wait until the new stuff comes.

Well With all the work you have put into it, im sure you wanna send out a product that you fine with, and will produce! I say its your call..im sure these guys can wait a little more for the best possible product!:thumbsup:

"Thrashing" them would be a waste in my opinion. You might want to send them to some testers that should either log them here, or on your website (forum), or just keep daily notes without a public log (if you are not sure the product will work as intended). Call this version Beta-1. When you have the formulation that better reflects your target matrix (a Beta-2 version), send it out to some of the Beta-1 testers and some completely new testers. The Beta-1 testers should log Beta-2 and compare their Beta-1 impressions with Beta-2 in public logs. The Beta-2-only testers would also provide feedback via logs. That way, you might get a broader set of feedback that would be richer than "thrashing" Beta-1 and testing only Beta-2. This how I would handle it, but it is your show.

Huge issue in Ecdy administration, IMO. It's really a huge issue overall as it relates to health, but one of the "tricks" I've learned when consuming ecdy is to consume a greens plus type superfood alongside it. Objectively, I've measured better nitrogen retention via urinary testing strips and the effect lasts longer after administration too, so I know it's working. For that purpose, I either focus on consuming deep alkalizing food such as spinach, asparagus and raisins etc. or consume a product like Alkaplex from Enzyme Process. This stuff is top notch, relatively cheap and gets you into an alkaline state like no other. That too, can be measured via urinary testing strips from your local pharmacy.
