Today kinda sucked with DLs... I just felt weak with em, but everything else went nicely considering i had to go early this morn. Happy to see the scale goin up and yesterday i did my cardio cuttin down a tree in our back yard and then cuttin it up......

Many Thanks Guys! The workout im happy with especially rack chins/lat pulldowns. But even tho my DLs werent as good, i REALLY FELT them and still do? Maybe this is less is more type deal??? YES, I been shoveling that food down, still feel good GI wise to! I still have my goal of 180 by end of Aug so i MITE just make it! Time to get my grub on again :food:

Doing compound exercises correctly, utilizing the muscle groups that are intended to be recruited is almost always better than trying to go heavy. I'd rather see you do a good 10-15 rep set of 185 than try to move 275 for 4. The strength will come with time, just let it happen. Forcing things like compound movements is often dangerous. You'll grow more with the lighter weights anyway, and the strength will just come with it.

you've just discovered why widowmakers are so brutal. one set for 4 reps will challenge you, but a lighter set of 20 will tear you up :)

I have NEVER done widows on DLs! They just does sound bruuutal. Ive seen you guys talk about them tho, and im just thinkin wow! I can see most deff. tho how a higher rep set as such can do more good with the lower weights now tho. Ive been really tryin to want a keep my weight and strength that ive gained in cycle so ill take all this into account no doubt!

Guess i just kinda get a lil afraid of loosing my strength since ive lost it so quick before. Thanks for keeping me in check guys!
 
do a set with heavier weights and less reps which will help keep your strength, then a lighter set with 20 reps to help keep your size :)

Today just "seemed" hard? Like i felt like i really had to work at it today, but all lifts still increased and reps are much better. I really felt today much more! Really surprised on the 155x12 i really struggled on the last 2reps but i got em so im happy. My left shoulder did get a lil buggy in the higher reps but made sure to keep stretching it out!

you're in PCT IIRC, and everything doesn't just "seem" harder, it "is" harder. that's where personal fortitude comes into play. just keep hitting back harder and you'll keep everything :)

Ya and that in these coming weeks is were itll really show no doubt, but im glad im still gaining. Honestly i didnt think today was goin to go as well as it did! Now that i look at both workouts again im very happy with today. Im REALLY pushing on keeping it! You freaking amazed me in yours, WOW is all i can say!

So today got switched up a bit. Lifted with one of the trainers there and he asked if i wanted to do box squats instead and i thought i would be a nice change, and it was! Rest Periods were shortened and forgot about leg curls. Dont know what i was thinking? But those Box Squats kicked my butt! :lol:
All in all tho, wow im REALLY feeling my quads and hammys STILL so i know i did something right!

I hadnt done Boxs in a long time, i forgot how much i feel them. Woke up this morn and legs were super tight! Nice Feeling. Mite just start doing em instead for s bit now! :)

I used to do them... Just didn't see much of a difference with a widow set as opposed to another heavy working set.

Deads should be low on the volume side IMO.

I had wondered about that. Wouldnt want form to suffer to much and chance of getting hurt.
 
Widows and deads...

It really just depends on how sure of your form that you are. I could easily widow 185-225. But if I went up to around 300... I am sure I would lose my lower back to the movement.

If you are gonna do them, keep them light.
 
Form is key. Widows at 315 + huge puddle of sweat + looks from random strangers as you finish rep 20 = Heaven. Can't wait to see what I can do with anabolics :twisted:

I would stay away from the widow dead sets unless its light, but in that case it isn't worth it anyways. You can seriously hurt yourself doing sh1t like that. I kinda like my back but thats just me. Saw some dude do 5 sets of 15 with 405 the other day. That was pretty wicked if you ask me.

Well i surprised myself today in a round about way. Was very tired and just drained, and i know why from all of yesterdays events...ARG! But, regardless pushed like no other and came out with some freaking solid numbers today! Im stoked that i pulled out DB press's 50x12, but left shoulder is STILL buggy. But im stoked about todays lifts regardless of being tired. O and im not complaining, i know yall put in longer days then i do!

Hey Guys.... Nope Still Here.... Just didnt post end of PCT. I finished strong and just fine. Kept most everything. Then a couple weeks ago ran into a medicine issue and lost a couple pds, but everything is straightening out now. Ive also been keeping real busy, which is a change for me lol

G- I emailed you back awhile ago, just figured you were real busy and what not. Did you not get it?

Anyways, ill try to be on more often! Hope you guys are all well! I have alot of catching up to do!!!
 
Jotan- Weight wise i never got passed 174 in PCT, after PCT i dropped to 169/170. As for strength kept most of it as well. Lost a 1 or 2 reps in different lifts is all. So needless to say i was quite happy with this cycle and im sure i will run it again!

Also, why did you chose to run both instead of just one (4ad and 1-ad)? I guess I am curious if 1-ad utt is run by itself how effective it would be.

These two hormones then convert to the steroid 1-Testosterone. 4AD converts to Testosterone itself (not 1-Test). The 1-Testosterone will be a little hard on the libido, but that is where the 4AD comes in, and the 4AD should raise the libido quite a bit. Both are good by themselves, but are great together. When the time comes, 1-androstendiol and 4AD is going to be my next cycle.

He was still likely shutdown however with the 4-AD it will alleviate the symptoms of shutdown simply because you have an exogenous source of test (4-AD in this case) to make you feel overall better.
 
Royd knows what he is talking about.

1-AD isn't gonna shut you down like Superdrol, but it is suppressive. But in reality, that's what all steroids do. You introduce a foreign anabolic into your system and you stop producing your own natural anabolic, testosterone, as your system adjusts to the newly introduced anabolic. Your body is doing something natural when you shut down. That is why we cycle our hormones and set up intelligent PCT's to bring ourselves back to where we were when before we cycled. Expect some shutdown, it's OK to be shut-down, you're on a hormone. Just be prepared to bring yourself back when you are done.

Any loss of libido though to shutdown should be alleviated by the 4AD. You are still shutting down, but you should be able to get it up, and still want to get it up... On something like Superdrol, you shut down and don't even care to get it up... get my drift? The 4AD to Testosterone conversion is the KEY to this whole conversation.
 
To add to what GMG said it's the same concept that has been used for years when it comes to cycling AAS. Guys use a 'base' of testosterone (varying esters) to maintain libido when they stack it with extremely suppressive compounds such as deca or tren.
 
ive actually been thinking for my next cycle to run 4-ADutt and 1-T or t-Ttren sounds yummy

First off, you need to do some serious reading about hormones and what they all convert to. You talk entirely too much out your @ss about these things.

Second, Yes 4AD converts to Test. It will raise the libido.

i don't need to read up on hormones because i dont plan on using them. Natty test levels are too high and yielding too nice of gains to risk shutting myself down or not making a full recovery.

but i found that interesting that 4ad converts to test. i didnt think there were any PH that raise libido...

That is because you don't know anything about PH. All a PH is is a chemical analog that converts into a steroid via enzymes in your body. That being said, if there are steroids that raise your libido, it makes perfect sense that there would be pro-hormones to those steroids that raise the libido. Logic is an amazing thing.

You sure talk an @ssload about hormones to say that you don't need to research them.

BTW, Formestane is a hormone. That means you have already used them. Formestane raises libido as well.

You are like the king of hypocrisy.
