Metroba tries out teh MMV3s

Sorry to hear about your dawggy Rob, that sucks man. My dog is like my son... I don't know what I would do without my pup.

:djparty:

Pretty awesome workout today. Still don't have my straps which put my back exercises at about 80% strength. Was supposed to pick some up this morning before I went to gym but I left my wallet at my girl's parent's house. So no money for straps :dunno:. Still a great w/o.

The w/o - C2

1. Warm up scap
2. Decline iso press - (just plate #s) 90x10, 140x10, 180x6, 240x9-4-3=16 will up weight next time
3. Chest stretch w/ 35's
4. Arnold press - been a longgg time since doing these. 20x10, 25x10, 30x6, 45x7-6-6=19 Will stick at this weight next time.
5. Stretch for 60 secs
6. Db skullz - best exercise of the day! - 15x10x2, 25x6, 35x23-12-10=45!! Wow! I was doing 12 reps for 35's last time but on a different routine. Will up to 40's next time.
7. Stretch - ohhh man did it burn!!
8. Rack chins with no straps - wahhh!! I couldve gotten like 3-4 more reps if I had straps!! :dead: Bwx10x2, +30x6, +40x7-5-4=16..will up weight next time but w/ straps :D
9. 1 arm db rows - again no straps so blah 60x10, 80x10, 100x6 :dead: I was repping 120's w/ straps :(
10. Lat stretch w/ no straps :frustrate: for 60 secs. Will add weight to my feet w/ straps next time. I am looking very thick and swole these days! People have commented on my size over the last week! Good things happening!

Looking good Met....people are noticing!!

It could just be me not being cautious, but after I do chest, I don't warm-up for delts. They get a decent amount of work in any chest movement, so I think they're plenty warmed up afterward. I have yet to have any issues, so maybe give that a shot next ch,dt,tr,bw,bt session? This will also help to not make you as tired, and you should theoretically be able to do another rep or 2 on your working set, since you're delts won't be as worn out. Nice session for sure bro, keep killin that shyt!

Good workout...Recovery time!

Well I would totally be down for that but I have preexisting shoulder issues and I want to play it safe here. Maybe 1 time next time tho :D

PR, :box:

Man that thick white girl gives me chills

Had a badass workout today! #s are up!

The w/o -
1. warmed up scap/hips
2. Ez bar curls - working set: 100x8-5-5=18; I went up 10 lbs and I'll move up another 10 next time :head:
3. Seated hammer curls - since I only got 8 reps w/ the 50's last time, I stayed at same weight and tried to beat those reps. Did 50x12 :head:. Will stay here and get to 20 reps before moving up in weight.
4. Stretch for 45 secs
5. Seated calve raises - working set: 190x8 oh mah gahh!! It burned sooo bad!!
6. Stretch for 60 secs
7. Good mornings - no rest pause here for safety reasons. 45x12, 65x12, 85x12, 105x12..will adjust weight next time.
8. stretch for 60 secs
9. BB squats - my favorite exercise right now! 45x10, 95x10, 135x10, 160x6, 185x10 (up 6 mofuggin reps!!, 195x6!!, 155x20 (up 10 lbs!) :head: Legs/calves are looking much thicker and veiny!
7. Quad stretch - for 45 secs...I hate this stretch but I gotta do eet :dunno:

I am so amped to do my next workout! I just wanna see how much more I can lift! After my first A1-C2 workouts, I can already see some physical changes. So naturally I am crazy excited to see what happens at the end of this next A1-C2.

Rolling along nicely Met. Two things to suggest if I may...10lb increase might be a big jump for the EZ curl. A little makes a big diff with these. I would think 5lbs might be a better jump to see where the reps hit. The second suggest is for the squat warm up. That is alot of sets bubba. I would just do something like 95-15, 135-10, 185-5 and then the heavy set. My 2 cents bubba...

Just curious as to your opinion Rob, but why the ez curl bar vs. the straight bar... I assume your were standing up not on a preacher bench right?

I have the same 2 cents..lol

Good session Met. How did you like calves done the correct way?;)

Believe he said on a previous page, it was due to wrist pain.

Nice to see you reaping the gains man!! I third the 5lb. increase. I always get a little over-zealous once I start gaining, then wind up with some down time form an oops. Not saying your a wuss like me, jsut saying to take it slow. Awesome progress though!!

I never used 2.5lb plates until DC training. You will learn to rely on them alot!

I know right..

I am thinking of getting some of those magnetic plates you can stick on DB's, so i can go up in smaller increments on them.

AZ- Do you tend to work from the top of the range, down over time, or lower in the range, and try to add reps to top of range?

I play around with both ends Imprez. It depends on how these old bones are treating me. Mostly in the higher ranges though.

I think I need to do it as a 5 day rotation instead of 4, i just can't even with my ridiculous overall supplementation manage to recuperate from legs in 4 days (with the partial hit the hams get on the deadliftS)

Haha I knew you would say that..and if not you then Imprez. I agree the 5lb jump is better. I was just amped and excited about yesterday's workout. When it came time for my next A1 workout, I am sure I would have just moved up the 5lbs.

Like Imprez said, I have wrist issues. They have actually started to get waayyy better! I can barely even feel it now. As soon as it is completely gone, I will be doing straight bar again. I just wont be attempting anything lower than 6-8 reps with it. I am doing straight bar drag curls tho and I am having no issues.
I have the same 2 cents..lol

I can barely walk today

right :D

I hear ya man. I figure because I am "on" and I am young I can handle the bigger jumps. I know I gotta slow it down. Like I said above I am just excited and when it comes time for my next A1 session, I will move up 5lbs. Now I need to get in the habit of using the loaded ez bar as opposed to the fixed.

I actually have enjoyed loading up those 2.5s. Just makes me feel good knowing I am getting stronger even if its by 5lbs because I know next time I will be loading up another 5lbs. :head:

I have wanted to get those magnetic plates for so long. They are just so damn expensive! Well for me anyway...for someone who doesn't make much :sad2:...haha I's just playin...I do okay :D

So you are doing the 3way split currently?

no, the 2 way one, but i'm counting bis/forearms/calves/hams/quads as legs. Its working though, I just need to figure a way to recover faster :)

His age factors in also. I had to alter the format for my recovery problems because of my age(50).

well, given my overall supplementation, most of my hormone levels are younger than I am :D TRT is good stuff. But the combo of no carb, lower than maintenance diet and age all do add up

Legs are destroyed!! I can barely walk!

Update:

I have decided to not take a second bottle of MMV3. I am going to go straight into pct with T-911. Not that I dont love MMv3. I do. Stuff has been great. I am just feeling shutdown and would like to get things back to normal. I had a great run. I was fortunate enough to start DC half way through. So I got things going pretty good. T-911 is going to be awesome anyway! I am sure I will make some sweet gains with the stuff! I have about 3 or so days left of teh mmv3s and then I will begin pct. I will also be throwing in SLIN with my pct! :head: I have a feeling I will be enjoying this pct. Was a great run!

Really? You are feeling shut down?

Like end of third week Mdrol cycle shut down?

Oh no not that bad..it's def one of the mildest shutdowns I've experienced. I just feel like I need a break. I'd like to go back to normal for a while and train natty. I'm just feeling worn out. Nah mean?

Yea I know what you mean. I'm staying natty for a while too. I gotta find me a good natty stack to run since MMV3 has been calling my name. I want to wait though.

I was thinking maybe E911 stacked with Hemodraulix and Glycobol, and a natty test booster. I love T911, but I want to try something else new as well.

I still think Prime is one of the best natty supplements I have ever tried hands down. And at the risk of sounding like an Axis pimp, Hemodraulix. I made some of the best gains on those two supplements.

Eh, I have had my eyes on Hemo for a while. Plus I mentioned it to you before you came and pimped it out...

You tried the glycobolz yet?

Yes, I ran a sponsored log of Gballz! Was awesome! I was able to stay lean while enjoying carbs. I got some nice strength increases from it too.

I have to find my half bottle of hemodraulix. I know its here somewheres

My supplements don't leave my stash drawer... I'd freak if I lost em!

BUT things are about to change since I am moving from my home office into an actual studio for my day to day work. Should be sick though, the studio is in a building that is still used by some medicinal practitioners (random doctors and dentists), so it has a shower that I have access to, and my gym is literally 200 yards away.

I'll probably have to figure out how to split up my supplements so that I have the appropriate doses at work during the day as well as a good shaker and bottle of protein for my workdays. It's been so convenient to work out of my house... but I just feel like I don't get as much done... like here I am sitting on AM instead of editing. :toofunny:

i'm this close to bailing out of my CKD

Glycobolzzzzzz.......

I give you credit mang, I could never ditch out on my carbs like that unless I was being paid to lift/attempting to make money with my physique in some way.

I got yer glycoballs right here... Actually I do have a bottle, plus neovar as well, pslin and anabolic pump all things told :D

I actually only miss fruits, and occasionally quinoa. I can get low carb breads, or even stuff like the ezekiel so that doesn't concern me too much. its just i have to keep overall cals so low to really loose fat that it sucks, and it seems slightly easier to clip carbs out. I think i'll make some quinoa tonite :)

Stoked,GlycoBol,ActivateX stack G. I think that is my next playlist. I am messing around with a GBol sample bottle right now and liking the results. I just need to get this PCT over...

I was thinking about running stoked again. Well, I ran PCS before, but it's the same thing.

I've never tried the ActivateX, I might give that a whirl.

I have a bit of time to figure it all out.

I've heard good things about ActivateX..good luck with it tho bro :high five:

I'm pretty much over missing carbs already. The only thing that scares me about CKD is the whole refeed thing. I'm looking forward to eating up the G-Bolzzzzzzzz.
