Irish Cannon Gets on AXIS...with AXIS (Hemodraulix + Kitchen Sink)

I bought a bag of frozen peaches at Whole Foods tonight. As we speak, I'm making a reduction over the stove... The whole bag of peaches is only 150 cals.

So the peaches, some stevia, cinnamon, touch of black pepper... Let it reduce and cool, and I'm going to have it with some Greek Yogurt. Should make about 4 servings... So like 40 cals or so (of carbs).

It sounds great for a Post-WO application... but yes, better with some SLIN.

Bro, I'm looking on Subway's site, and it says there's only 3g of sugar in 6" wheat bread...You must be talking about what the sub has with the sauce on it or something. I don't get the sauce stuff.

Wholly crap bro! I've been loading up on frozen blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries from the store. My mom buys the peaches and makes ice-tea smoothies with them. They're pretty awesome.

Yeah, the first one I had was for a full sandwhich... but I wonder where the rest of the sugar came from... It was sauce free...

I have no clue. That's odd. It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where they get the fat-free yogurt tested because everyone is putting on weight, and Rudy Giuliani's blood falls into it and it tests positive for fat, and the guy has to shut his place down and the little kid is cussing at Jerry. :toofunny:

Every time I see that episode I scream, "It's the sugar!"

Resting, but not Relaxing...

Today was an off day, but I've been extremely busy. Woke up a little late as I've had some serious difficulty getting out of bed. My room is so comfortable in the morning (my shades make the room uber-dark), so after my alarm goes off I just lay around in bed for about another hour.

Woke up, ate breakfast, and spent about 1.5hrs cooking my meals before work.

Some funny stories from today...

There's this cute blond I work with and this black dude (who's actually a pretty cool guy) that is always hitting on her. I was in the back room today with both of them and she goes, "I'm dying for some chocolate." - The dude goes, "I'm chocolate." and she says, "Nah, I don't like dark chocolate." - I started laughing so hard.

Another chick I work with looked at my fish oil pills while I was eating and said, "That's a lot of swallowing." - Obviously, my response was, "That's what she said."

Ohhh, let's see what else...

I felt like messing with a customer so I went on this long spiel about how cool it was that the shirt he was holding was made from recycled diapers...I carried this on for far too long...needless to say, he didn't buy the shirt.

There's more, but I won't mention it. :006:

Bodybuilding-wise, I think I'm starting to see some growth in the mirror, and I'm very happy. I saw my bro yesterday and he mentioned that it looks like I've thickened up a good deal. Always a nice thing to hear.

Looks like I'll be hitting the gym with Tyler again in the morning. I've gotta be up in under 8hrs, and I've still got to eat my last meal. :( - I'm a busy-boy these days.

I really hope I can make my goal of 190lbs by the end of this 4-week bulk. Week 2 begins on Sunday, so we'll see. My body seems to be handling this food very well...almost too well.

Day 7

Another short-ish update. Not a whole lot to report on. Still getting sick pumps from this stuff and loving it.

My strength was down in the first half of my workout, but not necessarily due to strength loss...I base my workouts off of the last workout in my log book, and instead of looking at last weeks, I based my exercise weights off of my workout from two weeks ago...I didn't realize this until I finished with back. So, I lifted down a tad on a few exercises. No biggie. I was up on biceps which was nice.

Super tired. Going to bed soon.
 
No update for today. Diet has been solid except for Meal 5. I went to see Transformers and didn't want to bring my turkey/broccoli meal into the theater (Yes, I've done this before) so I just brought in a bar.

I'm about to slam Meal 6 and head to bed. I've been uber busy today with work, school stuff, going out, etc, and it will be super busy again tomorrow.

Nomad, sorry I didn't get your phone call until later. I've been busy since 9am this morning, and my outing tonight was a little unexpected. :)

Edit: Also, running low on supps so I'll have to make an order. This unfortunately means that I won't be getting more protein (I'm on a just-in-time inventory system) until Tuesday, which means I may be short some on Monday...I'll have to pick up some Muscle Milks at the store when I get some Ezekiel bread tomorrow night.

I've brought some crazy stuff into movie theaters, but I usually only do that when I know a chick I'm going with is going to carry a big purse...I was unsure about this girl and I was right. She packs light. I just shoved the bar in my back pocket. No turkey/broccoli. :dunno:

In my bulk days... I would eat 2 footlongs post workout. I have these old blue Abercrombie cargo shorts that I love... they have to long strings that I don't tie because I have a belt.

So I'd tie the subway bags to each drawstring, and hang the sub inside my shorts. The side with the double turkey was all good... but the side with the double meatball would get a little schweaty - if ya know what I mean. :lol:

That's pretty funny...although I can't say I've never shoved a sub down my pants before entering a movie theater, just never a meatball one, nor did I tie it to a drawstring. lol

Eventually I made some connections and just brought in whatever I wanted:lol:
