I was worried about how I would be able to keep a clean diet/good eating schedule when I started at the brand new Casino that just opened here.

Luckily, they spoil us and there is a full stock buffet for lunch with everthingg you could possibly think of and for breakfast they make what YOU want when you request it, right in front of you. :D

Better than me. I'm working FT until I finish school in December...and I probably won't change my job for a while. lol - I'll just tell them to promote me.

I'm in no hurry to leave the Casino either, lol. I'll probly work there PT after I get my degree on the weekends. It'll be nice !!

Wow - I don't make 60k/year... at least, not yet, I haven't started applying for fellowships yet, that could add to my basic stipend. Either way, not having to worry about finances while studying is a great blessing.

Ya, that's awesome man. I'm happy for you. That's pretty incredible. And don't you have a place paid for? Or does that come out of your budget?

Thanks! It really is. I've been gaining a lot of strength and muscle the past couple weeks and fat loss has been a bit slower. I'm definitely enjoying things the way they are -I like getting stronger and bigger (muscle wise!). I tend to go through phases where for a certain amount of time I am gaining muscle more than I'm losing fat and vice versa. I'm still doing both, just one is happening faster than the other. Heavy lifting is what gives me the best results in both areas- it is only my calorie intake and what I eat that changes whether my body is prone to fat loss or muscle gains.

I love to pack on muscle, but I also love to shred up what I've got. It all depends on the season, really. I'm actually the opposite of most people. I bulk from the Summer/Fall, and then I cut in Winter, and am at my peak in Spring. - That's when the weather is best around here, so that's when I'm usually outside in the sun and on the beach.

Yesterday I went into the gym and lifted. My back/hip was hurting from work on Saturday, so I decided to go light on my Deadlifts.

It felt really good to lift. Even though my deads weren't as good as they usually are, I still got in a great workout.

Since it was my anniversary yesterday, I pigged out on a ton of yummy junk food. It was good! :p

Now I'm back to eating healthy. I just downed 2 cups of raw broccoli. I can't stand raw broccoli, but I was too lazy to cook it. :lol:
 
I am very sore from yesterday's workout! I decided to do a circuit- lifting heavy wasn't appealing to me. It definitely did the job! :)

That is all. :lol: I pushed myself so hard that anything more would have made my evening work shift a nightmare. :24: But it was sufficient and it wore me out.

I am out of Neovar. :17::( I've continued to take PLCAR, ALCAR, Reverse, X-Force, PW, GG and all of my other intra workout supplements.\

I'm also using another anti aging, health supplement that in new to the market. FOG started up his own supplement company called Force of Green Labs and I'm actually logging it for him. It is called Women's Factor 1.

Things have been crazy lately! Starting a new job this past week has kept me busy. It is going really well though. All the managers really like me because all the customers love me. :lol: It is quite nice. ;)

I improved on my clean and press this week, but dips sucked. I pushed my self as hard as I could, but never even got close to the 45 lbs that I was able to push out last week. It seems like I can set a PR on one or the other, but not BOTH in the same day, which does make sense. I suppose my body can only do so much.

I'm feeling pretty beat right now. I'm glad I don't have to work till 5pm. I will have time to take a nice nap...:24:

Diets been a little so-so recently. I'm gonna need to buckle down and stop the consumption of those naughty foods that I crave and give into... like... ice cream. :sad:

I won the new Citrus Burst Intra-Aid in a promo and tried it out for the first time yesterday. The flavor is quite good, I didn't notice a difference in my recovery time while lifting. But as I mentioned before, yesterday was definitely an off day- not a good time to judge a supplement. ;)
 
BW, you're freaking awesome! Don't be feeling down! Do you have any idea how many girls I've personally seen deadlift 195? Zero. That's how many. One off day of lifting ain't nothing to worry about!

:lol: I know. I only have 2 or 3 days out of the month where lifting is more difficult than it should be- I'm not upset about it. I don't really care. :squareeyed: I feel worked out and for now, that is good.

Haha, Thanks. :) I had a lady tell me the other day that I remind her of Super Woman. :lol: I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or what. I should have asked her what she meant. Yesterday I had a guy attempt to hit on me in the gym. His opening line: "Are you in the military?" Then he goes on to say that he watches me and notices that every time I come in and lift I do low rep, heavy routines. <<<Okay?! Chubby 5'6" Texan Gansta' combo (I didn't know they existed either, until yesterday) "watching" me in the gym. It was really kind of weird.
 
Poor guys and their lack of skills, although even the best of us slip up occasionally. ;) - Tonight I was talking with a couple girls and a buddy after class, then this good lookin' brunette walked by and I quickly tried to start up a conversation but lost my train of thought mid-sentence due to all the conversation - The chick walked by and said, "Hey, it rained." to her friend - I said, with a sarcastic thanks Captain Obvious undertone, "It did rain." and I was going to follow it up with, "Let's play a game where we state the obvious. I'm wearing jeans, Charlotte (other girl I was with) is wearing camouflage (military chick), and we're in North America." - But no, it slipped my mind and she walked off concurring, "Yes, yes, it did rain." :lol: - Even the chick I had been talking to before noticed I failed and said, "Was that your lame attempt at a pick-up?" Bahahah

Man, the gym is one place I really hardly EVER talk to women...When I'm in there, I just don't really care to. I have other things on my mind...Except the other day this bodybuilder type chick was on the Leg Press and I said, "Would you like me to hop on the top and start screaming at you like they do in the magazines?" - She laughed. :jester:

Ha! I don't like talking to people in the gym unless it is about lifting. I'll compliment someone if they are lifting hard and heavy with proper form, and I don't mind it if someone compliments me for the same reason. A couple guys the other day were impressed with my 25 lb weighted dips, LOL. The same exact moment I was completely disappointed that I couldn't do 45lbs. It's funny how people perceive things differently.

I got in a killer workout yesterday. I really surprised myself, actually. I had some of the best form for my squats EVER, while using some REAL weight.

I'm pretty outgoing, but at the gym, everything has to align just right for me to talk to a woman there, and on top of that, she can't have headphones on! - I see the same people ever day, though. Not too many cute girls in there when I go unless they're from out of town, like the one I talked to yesterday.

She was the only one that I ever looked at and said, "Wow! She comes here to work!"
It's funny that I met her there because it was right after my friend in my Unit told me that I probally will find a girl at the gym or the range, since that's where I spend all my free time. He was right, and he rub's that in my face with every chance that he gets.

I get people all the time saying they wish they could find a girl who trains! They always say well I won't talk to people at the gym..I'm there to work. Well good for you! We all are.

But the people who want a girl that trains with them arent going to find them out looking for them. Its usually at the gym. Then you can go to the gym together, share supps and diet misery!:lol:

People have the idea wrong. You can go to the gym and talk without being there TO talk. There are plenty of times during a workout that are a decent time to strike up a short conversation. Especially if it's someone you see day after day; they'll feel much more comfortable talking to you. It's easy to talk to the regulars.
 
In addition...

I've actually used the "no talking" thing as leverage. I'll say something to make the girl laugh, then immediately follow it up with, "I've got to finish the rest of this workout. I'll come see you before I leave." - :D - Gotta keep the upper hand. ;)
