Metroba tries out teh MMV3s

Met have you used adipo-x? How was it? Running a cut soon and would like to be well rounded.

I had a bag of samples that last me about a week. I was tweaked while on it. Like IC said it's strong. I had mad appetite suppression as well.

I can tell you it's very strong. Volcom loved it. I haven't even finished my bottle yet. I was doing fasted training when I used it, and it was too much for my stomach to handle on empty, but I'll be polishing it off pretty soon.

Thats what i am looking for, hahaha How many were you taking?

Axis is a great company. I've only used a few of their products (Adipo-X, Clutch, Hemodraulix) but they're all very legit. Currently running a Hemo log and loving the stuff!

yeah, hemo is possibly the best "oh ****" product out there. by that I mean its worth keeping a ziploc with a bunch of caps in it in your gym bag as if you forget your regular preworkout, they take no time to kick in and will give you a super workout. Hardly anything else really kicks in that fast.

I liked the adipo-x too, gave a very thermo feeling. probably was a waste for me when I did take them if I look back on it, just due to diet, etc contrtol

me too, but its generally when my wife asks me questions...

bhaahahah. nice.

Have you seen that commercial of the guy that's sitting down eating breakfast and reading the paper and his wife comes in the kitchen with a dress on and says, "Does this make my butt look big?" And the guy, while continuing his reading and turning the page says, "Abbbsolutely..."

The only difference between my future wife and the woman in that commercial will be that when I say "absolutely" she will be happy. :)

today wasn't too hot on dc either. when I got to last group and it was deadlifts, it was hard to do it. I had done 20 min cardio first before starting workout since I was fasted, but I think its just that being on a ckd and doing it fasted besides is too much for me. I did the deadlifts, but relatively light and still was panting and dizzy

Easy, have you tried doing cardio after the weights. The theory is that the glycogen stores are used up lifting and the cardio gets fueled by fat. Fasted training even better. Drink aminos intra.

on a ckd, no glycogen stores either way :P I may try the training first, then cardio, will likely be a little easier.

Did you finish your 20? Hope you didn't wuss out like last time :drillsergeant:

i did make it thru them just it blew goat. I'm starting to make nice progress again with daily cardio but maybe it is best if I just do it off days, thats still 3.5/wk. Plus i am pretty frequently if not daily doing a half hour real bike riding session in the evenings with the kids or going for a 1 mile walk, something along those lines.

This will make you feel better....

Easy- have you read the thread on im about dc training if over 35? If so are you following those adjustments?

no, i'll have to check that out. I think its mostly dietary though, I may have to move to a tkd and/or eat before working out. If I dont do cardio beforehand, then eating first is ok

that reminds me of a girl I saw last time I was there, in the international mall in hato rey. She was at MOST 4'8" but jeez even my wife did a doubletake looking at her

 I love it when even the wife gives those look. Gives me a chance to get that extra look :wave2:

Give it a read. I beleieve it is training related from what I remember.

Wait whose thread is this? lol its all good

Well I woke up this morning morning to find my dog paralyzed. He is in surgery now for a ruptured disc. It's going to be $5k. $5k that has to be borrowed. I was balling all morning. So I was pleasantly surprised I was able to have such a great workout let alone a decent one. I'm loving the Slingshot big time! Has put my endurance through the roof and fatigue was almost non existent today. The thing I love about BA is that after you warm up the working sets are fatigue-less..I love eet!! Okay enough product pushing :P

The w/o - C1 - Bis/forearms/Calves/Hams/Quads

1. Warmed up scap and did stretches (mainly hips) for about 15 mins
2. Incline alt/sup db curls - 20x12, 25x12, 30x6, 45x7-6-6=19
3. Reverse ez bar curls - 20x12 (warmup), 60x12 (wrist was hurtin so I didn't take it too far) I also made sure to keep my wrists up like in the vid Imprez posted.
4. Forearm stretch for 45sec
5. Seated calve extensions - did it the right way this time :D 45x25, 90x25, (working) 135x6 ohhh the burnn!! I held 15 seconds at top and did 5 second negatives.
6. Calve stretch for 60sec
7. Laying leg curls - been a really long time. So I wasn't sure what #s to use. Will adjust as I go. 65x12, 80x12, 110x6, 135x6-4-4=14..so I will be sticking her for next time.
8. Ham stretch for 60 secs..burnns soo much! :smite:
9. Close stance angled leg press - 4platesx12, 6x12, 8x6, 10x10, 6x20; So I will throw maybe 25lbs on the heavy set next time and I will prob try out 8plates for the widows next time. Too easy :hammer:
10. Quad stretch

Man oh man..I almost felt like barfing! Was intense!

Zomgz

what happened to ur dog? Did you roll over in bed and fall off landing on him? (homo x 3)

He is a dachshund/beagle mix. Which is a horrible mix when it comes to spinal issues. Both breeds have been known to break their backs and get severe arthritis. I am just relieved he didn't have to be put down. I need a hug

haha a nuthug from my girl :hammer: no homos for me today..just not in the mood :sad2: (homo x eh nvm)

 you crazeh...how much longer do you have before you head home again?

I bet man..I can imagine the damage that will be done to your wife when you get home :hammer:..have a blast bro. You deserve it

This is the closest thing to a no homo hug I could find.

You should hold at the bottom not the top.. explode up, 5sec neg, hold at the bottom/stretched position.
