I take melatonin @ 3-9mg, always helps me.

love melatonin...sometimes i even do benadryl.........................

I am looking into trying X-Dreams as well. I normally dont dream...I used to dream alll the time, I woke up with amazing ideas and even story ideas for my writing. Last night was the first time I had a dream in awhile, and it was a straight WTF dream hahah.

Happened to me on USPlabs PowerFull. Realistic seeming dreams, great sleep.

PowerFull. Good stuff.

Melatonin worked great for helping me sleep since i work 3rd shift and dont sleep well during the day. but after taking 3mgs every day for 2 months i started to get very irritable and felt what i think was depression setting in. For about a week i constantly had a heavy feeling on my chest and always seemed down..wasnt myself at all. After being off of it for a week i was back to normal. So now i only use it for at most 2 weeks at a time then switch to benadryl

The stack that works for me is a combo of magnesium citrate, P-5-P (the active form of b6) and zinc.

The traditional ZMA did not work for me but this combo does.

Try some Valerian Root, it's a relaxant. It's found in some training supplements too.

ZMA gives me a very deep sleep but I don't think it actually sends me to sleep. The type of sleep where I once woke at 1:30AM and for some reason started to get dressed as I thought it was morning and time for work :).

then if this a problem to fall asleep, you can try l-tryptophane or milk products. I don't have any issue to fall asleep and this is related to my protein shake I take at 5:00 PM. I guess I am able to correctly use tryptophane or that my own melatonin production is enough.

3mgs per day is too much if you're taking it every day. A meta-analysis from MIT suggests that efficacy falls off dramatically after 300 mcgs, as a larger dosage beyond that results in the body rapidly building a tolerance to it.

Sadly I can't post the link as I have less than 50 posts, PM me if you're interested.

Before you start supping, what time do you go to bed? are there any distractions when you go to bed? Are you overtraining?

Exactly. Funny nobody else asked those questions first, instead take this, use that, f...ing supplement junkies :D
Meditation is the best "supplement" to relief stress and fall asleep like a baby.

Have you considered supplementing in Magnesium? Are you deficient in it? I like Magnesium Taurate and Magnesium Orotate.
