Snag's New 'USPlabs Asteroid Armageddon Assault'

75 seconds DFly?!?! and you're lumpin on Snags?
that's what I was thinking! poor ol' Snags.. :dunno:
she's a tough cookie ain't she.. :whip:
Hell, I'll take 5 minutes, creep on a few girls, go get a drink of water, think about peeing... check my blackberry... then go for set 2.

Maybe not alllll those - but at least 2.
:lmao: somehow I have no trouble picturing you doing that Timber!

Day #59 Shoulders/Abs

Another day, another killer session..
BB military (5x12/10/8/8/8), DB front raises (3x12), bent DB raises (3x12), hi-pulls (2x12), DB shrugs (3x12). Followed w/ various ab work.
Pump off the chain again..no pics for proof, you're just gonna have to take my word for it! :biglaugh: I'm getting picture burn out here..in fact, I'm thinking about wrapping this thread up, or maybe just dropping in weekly and giving updates. Nothing is really going to change over the next month (except adjustment of cal intake, maybe macro shifts), but in 4 weeks I should be looking fairly decent and diced, and it'll be interesting to see how close to 195lbs and 5% bf (the overall goal right now) I can get to. Right now I'm at 197.5 (upon rising) and I'd guess somewhere in the 6.5% range, maybe closer to 7%, so I've got some work to do..

Checked out the new beta version of the reformulated Lemon-Lime Jack3d this morning -- and once again, big thumbs up! Smell was just like the original imo, effects were consistent as old to me, great energy & focus thru session. Taste was slightly sweeter (better) it seemed -- but, like a bonehead I added 2 TBS of a liquid carnitine (contains glycerol) to the drink w/o thinking, so this influenced taste no doubt..

Day #60 Back -- FINAL DAILY UPDATE

Crazy back pump today..did a warm-up of superset BB deads followed by bent BB rows (12 reps each, only 2 sets w/ 135 to loosen up), but that was surprisingly taxing after tennis & baseball yesterday!
So then the workout: BB DL 4x12, bent rows 5x12/10/8/8/8, 1-arm DB rows 3x12, DB decline pullovers 3x15, 1 strip-set pulldowns to frontx75. Nice way to finish it off!
Will update as needed, but no pics for 4 weeks or so -- we'll see what kind of progression I can pull off in that time..

Lil pic for the road. :)

Solid!
You need to go ahead and get a sleeve done, man. I'm not one for tattoo's that are scattered. I like design, and overall fill. Too bad my wife will kick me out of bed if I did this, however. And plus, I cannot have anything of the sort on me (strict SOP for my Unit). Anything that can identify me is a bad thing. I told my wife that once I am 70 and the Military can no longer call the sots, I am getting a full sleeve. :D

But damn, you're a beast!

Dang I am sad at this last final daily update :( Looking swole tho and I anticipate some nice body comp changes in these four weeks. Good luck man

More of a musclehead than bonehead snag ;) A little time away from AM will help you get less frustrated with the dumb posts that were getting on your nerves. Good luck achieving the 195 goal in 4 weeks

Who pissed off the Snags?

You got some Popeye lookin forearms lately man... Back looks awesome.

Salute! :usa1: Thanks my friend.
Yeah, the sleeve was on my mind at one time, funny you mention that cuz just the other day one of my buds who I inspired yrs ago to get his first tattoo (and ended up getting a sleeve) said the very same thing. I'm kinda past that stage in my life now tho. They hold no fascination for me any longer. And quite honestly, I think they detract from the physique when you're up on stage.
Who knows? Maybe when I'm Sly's age I'll pull out some more artwork like he did. :006:

Turn that frown upside down bro! :)
You know I'll be around! Looking forward to seeing your progress this summer too bud..if your busy schedule doesn't keep you from getting your training on that is!

Thx Timber..you you know I've always considered my back one of my weaknesses, so I dig that feedback from ya! :wiggle:
I'm seriously contimplating a Timber weiner sleeve.

:hump:

Just don't get that favorite icon of yours included, eh? Might look kinda strange..

Thanks man I am looking forward to this summers progress as well. Even with crazy work days it won't get in the way of my lifting...one of the perks of my new gym is its open 24/7 :)

One last food pic on my way out..
Fittingly, one of my fav meals -- I only had 4oz lean beef thawed, so had to roll with 1 whole egg+5 whites in addition.. :147:

Hey, it looks like you forgot to put the rest of the weed up on the counter... below the toaster's knob. :bandit:
Yeah, that looks like bud to me.

Gotta have a pic for June 1st.. :D
Shaved the legs today..muscle tone is a bit smooth right now as I'm getting my first 'big' before-bed carb meal (powered by Pslin) tonight, transitioning into prep dietary patterns..Leg day tomorrow! :woohoo:

That's the thing about having really big muscles they tend to get less defined when you hammer them. A lot of my pumps having looking really smooth and less defined. At least you have really hard muscles which kind of alleviates some of the problem.

Yeah..legs especially, they lose their definition with a pump..this is why (for those of you who have never competed in a show before) the legs are the one thing you don't 'pump up' when you get ready to go out on stage. Hit the calves maybe lightly but that's about it.
Everything else you pretty much pump the hell out of! :D

FINAL SUMMATION
I figured I'd go ahead and wrap up the review now..while I'll continue my Armageddon protocol thru most of June, at 8 weeks I've got enough to go on.. ;)
I've pretty much reviewed everything earlier, but now there's more to be said for product X..after a rough early start, this stuff has been incredible! Strength continues to be at all-time highs or more, recovery and endurance (esp since adding Prime) have been more than I could hope for..
I've dropped 8.5lbs and roughly 4% bodyfat while increasing my lean muscle mass the last 8 weeks -- while maintaining baseball/tennis/basketball activities..(altho I am having trouble moving today, yesterday's leg w/o squashed me!) :biglaugh:
I don't think I've ever been this patient before, as far as dietary considerations go. I've really been leaning on the products to do their thing while I slowly reduce consumption, instead of trying to fast-track things. I'm out to maintain (or gain!) muscle mass to hit my goal..this stack has been the key to helping me get there.
I'll update maybe once a week for the next couple weeks, until I end this, then if there's anything to add I'll do so. Pics at end of June.

That's exactly what I find using these products... instead of scambling to lose weight, I find myself going with the flow and gaining muscle while I lose fat. Dieting is easier, training is more intense, much better ride.

Now your getting me all excited about Product X ... Stay tuned for my own Xfiles coming soon to a log near you. I start June 14th Prime, AP, Powerfull, Product X, Recreate and Eviscerate. Yah taking a chance with Recreate again hope is doesn't fug me up!! lol

Wish I could get a little something X-tra. Hope this comes to market soon!

Dang wheels looking incredible snag...keep it up and I love the workout

Don't we all !

4% BF loss whilst upping LBM Snag, now you are really stirring the pot . Invalid Link Removed

What's that X thing ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p

Yah I have had similar results under Snags tutoledge, this dieting style is designed to optimize the effectiveness of these products. It's a lot easier than traditional means and you can train just as if you weren't dieting at all and you gain lean mass while your doing it. I've never seen anything like it. It appears you can do this all the way through contest prep if you can believe it. It takes time and patience but the results could be 10 or more extra lbs come comp time.

What all was snag using? I remember pslin, anabolic pump, and prime was that it?

Yah it's all in here somwhere but those are the major players for these kinds of results. He also had some Product X though and got good strength gains from it. I will be doing something very similar starting June 14th.

For those who do well on it the Asteroid stack is the real deal.

Day #68 June 7

Thnx for the comments everybody..
Everything rolling along well, nothing major to report.
Legs are sore from the quick superset I had to run yesterday due to time constraints: 5 sets DB jump squats ss/ w BB SLDL, finished w/ 3 sets bw glute/ham raise. Ham's are screaming at me today! :aargh:
Biceps/triceps/calves/abs planned for today.
Have started a rolling workout routine, where I pair up 2 different bodyparts in rotating fashion, so it's always a new pairing each session..keeps things interesting.

ahh but yes, I did!
the only thing I discontinued from the original line-up was the beta-alanine, as I was getting paresthesia big-time..

loose game plan starting to form..going to continue on my current supp run thru most of June, then take 4-5 weeks off from all supps thru July..come August 1st, if I choose to compete for September shows, this will have me set-up pretty well for running a massive blitz cycle heading into comp.

Going to be eyeing that blitz cycle.

Nice thanks snag the only reason i ask is I plan on running something like this in the VERY near future. I don't think I will have enough dough to run it all, but i will definitely have some prime and recreate and possibly bulk pslin:veryhappy: I am excited to say the least.

Just to add my 2 cents I think the Priority for running something like this is

1. Diet of course...
2. Prime
3. AP and or Pslin
4. Powerfull
5. Recreate

You've got most of it. If you have the top 3 that's still pretty damn good!!

I actually have some bulk powerfull but not enough to run the whole time. My main goal is going to be fat loss and hold on to the muscle i have. Thats why i went with the recreate. The diet is spot on as is, actually better than it has been in a while. Why do you say the powerfull over recreate if you don't mind me asking?

Hah that was a close call ... could go either way with that one. It's the first 3that are the most important. AP does such a good job with fat loss I thought recreate was just icing on the cake.

Hey I'm running all of them and then some so....

My cutting periods always include (in no order of importance):
Recreate, PowerFULL, AP.
Now, sure the Prime and Pslin make things fun and more effective, but IMO they are not as essential as are the others.

Do you think at my age i get as much of a benefit from powerfull as some the older guys?

But Prime does such a good job of sparing muscle... I guess so does recreate.

During my last 4 weeks of prep I decided to try a different fat burner to help melt the last few lbs off. I lost tons of strength in the last 4 weeks and thats when I really noticed how much of a benefit recreate has in sparing protein and retaining muscular strength.
