Free phone upgrade, Considering a Blackberry?

I am about a month away from my new every two with Verizon, also I got a VP thing in the mail(a card) which cuts out the activation fee, and takes another 50 bucks off. Not too shabby.

Anyways I was wondering about picking up a blackberry curve or maybe the blackberry storm. I was originally against the storm because of its issues, but apparently alot of people are claiming its fixed and operating smoother. I know some of you will say something about the iphone. I was considering switching to AT&T for one, but that would not be free, where as I can get a blackberry for fiddy bucks activated.

Not sure what I want to do, looking for your inputs.

The Blackberry Storm is the worse phone that I have ever had. I hate it!
So many issues with applications, missed calls, and even clearing my SIM card on its on. I am in the process of getting a new phone for a replacement. I would go over every option before buying anything.

Anyone got any comments for the Nokia E71? I'm due an upgrade now too and don't want a touchscreen phone particularly....

I had the storm for a week, hated it got the dare, loved it till it got killed in a restriant at work, so now i have a curve, bigger than what I wanted but it does the job............

Then I am down to between the curve and the iphone. I need something for email + net since I am going to be shooting for two jobs soon.

Curve with VZ costs about 130 bucks a month with unlted net

Iphone costs about 100.

Curve has limited apps as a blackberry, Iphone is seemingly insane.
I think blackberry uses mobile Opera browser Iphone uses safari.

rawr....Been VZ for years and dont wana change.

Go for the curve if you wanna stay VZ

Storm was terrible and being on a cycle with it at the gym... bad idea. Made me mad trying to text someone

That's funny! If you like to text fast, get the curve. If you don't mind being a slopoke about it, like me, the storm works. I've had a storm since feb this year. Not many complaints from me. Verizon hasn't recently "officially" updated the software, but there are many out there. Check Crackberrry.com. I upgraded my OS from crackberry, and have been pretty happy. Blackberry now has an app store also if you didn't know. Both are good IMO. It is easier to text faster on the curve though.

Iphone is good for email, and such. But you have to deal with at&t. The bain of my existence.

If you have any questions on the iphone let me know, i do tech support for it.
