Shaddow vs. T-Roid & P-Plex

WTF happened to that shaddow guy?

Maaaan. Lots of catching up to do. I've just been busy as hell lately. Lots going on. Anyways, on with the log.

ONE MORE WEEK OF PCT!!!

Thank God. I'm so ready to stop eating 100 pills a day. Things are continuing to go well. I've been a lot more active lately; backpacking, hiking, and playing more sports. Strength is down a little on many exercises, but up on a couple as well. Weight is holding ~203-205, which is surprising cuz I don't feel like I'm eating as much as I should be eating to stay at this size. I'm still really tempted to try to cut some fat, but I'm digging the 200# scale weight so much that I don't know if I wanna cut. LOL.

I've been going a lot heavier on my widowmakers, but I've been failing at like 12-15 reps for the most part. LOL. Whateva. I've been hungry for a 315 squat, and I gave it a shot a couple days ago, but I just couldn't bring the weight up. I really feel like I'm close though!!

Everything else seems to be going according to plan.

Here's my missing workouts minus notes:

Yesterday's workout:

Day 56: Thursday, May 21 - one more week of PCT!
Weight: 203.4 (+15)

Workout #23 - A3

Incline db flies: 2 warm-ups @ 45x15, 65x10
Working set with rest-pauses: 85x7 +2 +2
Straight into BB bench press: 185x12 Drop to: 135x12.

I worked on bringing my back off the bench as V had described, getting those db's down lower and keeping the tops of the db's angled towards each other. Heavier warm-ups, and lost a few reps on my working set. No biggie though.

BB shoulder press: 2 warm-ups @ 65x18, 105x12
Working set with rest-pauses: 135x7 +5 +3

Lots of extra volume on chest, and that killed my ability to go too heavy on shoulders. I just wasn't feeling it.

Bent-over triceps extensions: 2 warm-ups @ 100x18, 140x12
Working set with rest-pauses: 175x7 +1 +150x6

+15 lbs. but I was drained. Couldn't continue on my last rest-pause so I lowered the weight slightly.

Pull-ups: 2 warm ups @ BWx15, 9
Working set with rest-pauses: +40lbs x 4 +2 +2

Once again I hit 15 reps on pull ups. Holy crap. It's gotta be the fact that I've been doing heavier pulldowns with straps. Has to be. There is no other logical explanation.

Wide-grip cable rows: 2 warm ups 115x15, 160x10
Working set: 205x8 - PR

Went up on both of my warm-up sets, up 5lbs on my working set and 2 more reps.

Notes: I felt good in the gym yesterday. I hate that I keep failing so hard on my shoulder exercises. I know I can lift a hell of a lot more weight than that, but it seems the harder I work my chest, the less I can do with my shoulders. My chest is definitely one of my weak points, so I'm gonna keep stressing these exercises over the shoulder stuff, at least for now.

Everything else is going well. Slight acne, and I'm breaking out a little on my back in kind of a rash, but this has happened to me both time that I've taken divanyl in the past, so I'm sure that's the culprit.

I'll likely be spending lots of time outdoors again this weekend, and I'll be at the pool first thing in the AM tomorrow, so hopefully I can work on some color for my after pics. :p

I'm gonna head to the gym to do some cardio and ab work in a couple hours.

Have a safe and happy holiday weekend, folks!!!

I know exactly what you mean on the shoulders after benching. I was beat during my workout today. Your numbers look good bro, keep it up

Dang nice #s bro!

Alright.. Let's keep this thing going. I've done cardio two off days in a row. Been a looooong time since I've done that. I was slacking for a good bit, but I'm back into things now. My cardio days were very simple, but brutal (for my non-cardio doing ass) none the less. 20 minutes walking at maximum incline (15%) followed by some stationary bike work. Every single muscle in my feet burned and ached, and my calves were screaming. I think it would have honesty been easier jogging @ that incline, cuz walking and taking slow steps was torture on every muscle in my feet. Good stuff.

Saturday's workout:

This was AFTER 2.5 hrs sitting out at the pool, so I was pretty freaking sun drained, but still managed to have a pretty nice workout.

Day 58: Saturday, May 23
Weight: 203.6 (+15.2)

Workout #24 - B3

EZ bar preacher curls: 2 warm-ups @ 55x18, 75x12
Working set with rest-pauses: 105x4 +95x2 +2
Straight to: Hammer curls @ 40x12, 50x10

Switched over to EZ bar from the wide bar to relieve some stress I've been feeling in my forearms and these felt much better.

BB shrugs: ---

I saved these for last, but my lumbar was giving me problems after sumo deads, so I didn't get around to doing these. :(

Leg press calf press: 2 warm-ups @ 160x12, 200x10
Working set with rest-pauses: 250x7 +4 +4

Ouch.

Sumo deadlifts: 2 warm ups @ 135x18, 225x10
Working set: 315x1

Here we go again. I can't seem to sumo 315 without hurting my back. ****. I'll prob just do my heavy set @ 275 next time. **** it. What can you do?

Sled Press: 2 warm-ups @ 450x15, 630x12
Working set: 810x5
Widowmaker: 630x20

I was hungry for more than 5 reps on my working set this time around, but I just couldn't get it. BUT I hit my widowmaker @ 630 this time around to make up for it! :head:

Notes:
Tough, tough, TOUGH workout after sitting in the sun all day, but I worked through it and thought I did alright. Damn back needs to stop giving me issues on those sumo deads. ****. Every single time....

Today's workout:

Day 60: Monday, May 25
Weight: 204 (+15.6) :head:

Workout #25 - A1

Flat db press: 2 warm-ups @ 60x18, 80x12
Working set with rest-pauses: 115x3 + 105x5 +2

Why is 115 so much heavier than 110 for me??? ****! Brutal. I can't hit rest pauses at 115 to save my life. Maybe I'll drop back down to 110 next time. These were pretty painful, actually.

DB shoulder press: 2 warm-ups @ 30x15, 45x12
Working set with rest-pauses: 65x10 +6 +3

FINALLY ****ing finished a working set and rest pauses on shoulders!! LOL!

Dips: 2 warm-ups @ 30# assist x18, BWx12
Working set with rest-pauses: +30x8 +1

These just plain hurt. Bad. Didn't even bother with my last rest-pause cuz they were causing me a lot of pain in my shoulders.

Wide-grip lat pulldowns: 2 warm ups @ 120x15, 150x12
Working set with rest-pauses: 180x6 +3 +3

Maaaaan, these hurt so good today. LOL. There's a mirror behind the machine, and my lats were looking HUGE on these. :woohoo:

DB rows: 2 warm-ups @ 75x15, 100x12
Working set: 130x7 - PR

130# db rows ftw!! PR, baby!!

Notes:

I had to hit the gym early as hell today, and tired, after one meal. Not my usual protocol. I'm a late night workout kinda guy, but, of course, my gym was closing early for the holiday (*cough*bullshit*cough*).

I feel good. I got a nice tan going on from spending a couple hours at the pool the other day, and I'm looking full, and leaner than I had the past few weeks. Everything is still going very well. Weight is still where I want it to be. Bottom abs are becoming slightly more visible. I'm thinking if I can stay healthy and keep lifting heavy while keeping up with my cardio, that my bottom abs will be making an appearance this summer after all. :woohoo:

Thanks for all the comments, fellas. I still have a lot of catching up to do, but I'm about to hit the road again. Be back shortly.

Silver, my car would have been considered totalled if I reported it to insurance, and I just don't have the money for a new car right now (it's a mid 90's Lex w/ 170k miles. They wouldn't have given me **** for it), so I'm just driving it around all beat up like a jackass right now. LOL. I got some parts coming in from a junk yard, and my buddy is gonna help me put it back together in due time. Hopefully in the next week or so.

130 db rows is fukcin sick bro!! :head:

How are you liking the T911? Do you feel it's proving itself in PCT? There's still only a handful of us I've seen use it in PCT, so I'm just trying to get some feedback. I know you, Timber, Silver, and myself have used it in PCT, but I don't know of anyone else.

:toofunny:

So you're THAT guy. ...Just don't strip the paint and put primer on. I love seeing that. Hahah. Usually all it means is "one more paycheck." Ha.

T-911 must have some serious test boosting capabilities. I swear the bacne and arm/chest acne have continued even though I have been off cycle a while. It has helped in the libido department as well. I finished up last T-911 the other day and I already miss it. I am curious to see if Shaddow has any similar experiences.

Ya, I'd really like to see some more before/after bloodwork from people that have used T911.

F*ckin workouts are still looking beastly bro. I hear you about the forearms, I've had to tone it down since I had some pain. Keep killing it. I drove around a couple of years in a car I got into an accident with so I feel the pain. I too did the junkyard thing.

Thanks, bro! I felt pretty beastly! Our db's go up by 5's until 120, then by 10 up to 140. I'm gonna have to start hitting a different gym on my db row days if I get past 140 though.

I've gotta be completely honest, just cuz that's how I roll... I don't know how much the T-911 specifically has done for me cuz I'm taking so much other stuff (PCT Assist, dat der Diesel Test Hardcore). HOWEVER, all in all, my PCT run has been quite stellar. I've pretty much maintained the majority, if not, all of my mass. My strength has held up for the most part. I mean, I've lost a little strength on a few exercises, but after going up on every single exercise every single workout for 5 weeks, I'm not too surprised that some tailed off a bit. However, I'm still hitting PR's on a regular basis, so things are still improving in PCT. This has definitely been a very productive PCT. I do feel that I can notice a slight difference in the libido department shortly after dosing T-911. I have been taking it 2 pills before workouts, 1 pill before bed, and 1 pill in the afternoon, and 1 in before bed on non-workout days.

Yeah, it sucks. I feel like a bum. I managed to bang the hood latch back a bit and straighten out my hood a good bit, so it doesn't look *too* bad, but it's definitely still embarrassing.

I had a little bit more acne in my first weeks of PCT, but it has been fading, and I'm pretty much at baseline right now (not much acne at all). I did have a small rash of acne on my back that I will attribute to the divanyl in DTH, because it's done that to me both other times I've taken it, but after spending some time in the sun last weekend, it's completely faded. :dunno:

Ya, I'd really like to see some more before/after bloodwork from people that have used T911.
I have never taken bloodwork for a cycle before, but if it's not too expensive, I think I might look into it for my next run.

Thanks, bro! I appreciate it! Just trying to get big and strong like you, man!!

keep killing those weights, bro!
I'm on it!! :head:

Today is B1: db curls, reverse bb curls, sled toe press, lying leg curls, & power squat. I'm gonna try and push my numbers on the power squat. Lookin' for another PR. ;)

Tomorrow is Day 63, which is the last day of PCT! :woohoo: I will stay on the test boosters and AI's until the bottles are finished.

My camera broke the other day (lolboxmeman!), but I will try to take pics before the weekend. Maybe tomorrow if my dad will let me borrow his SLR...

Oh yeah. My reward for a successful run is some delicious beers this weekend. I haven't drank in 9 weeks. The gf is taking me to Dogfish Head on Friday for dinner and a couple pints. Nothing too crazy. Saturday I'll be on a boat in the Chesapeake Bay for about 7 hours fishing for trophy rockfish and enjoying a couple cold ones. Looking forward to the weekend!! Don't worry folks, I'll be back in the gym on Sunday after fishing. I'm not falling off the wagon. I've come way too far to throw it all away. :wave2:

Gotta have breaks to keep the sanity and keep the drive going. Have fun and catch some fish!

Day 69: Wednesday, June 3
Weight: 206.6 (+18.2!) :head:

Ok, updates.

Fishing was awesome! We caught 22 striped bass!

PCT was completed 6 days ago. I am just about done with test boosters and AI's, in fact I will finish today. I have 1 more T-911 and 2 more DTH's. I'm done with PCT Assist. Finished all other PCT supplements. Had a few beers over the weekend, and took extra liver support before, day of, and day after. Water intake has been high. Cheated on my diet a little, but I'm still looking pretty lean considering where I was two months ago.

Good news and bad news. The good news is the weight is sticking!! I woke up at 206.6 (+18.2!) this morning. HOWEVER, my back has been a mess! I've had to skip quite a few exercises, or just not go heavy on them. I also did not feel ok to lift the day after fishing. My lumbar was still a mess and I was completely sun drained. Working out would have been an invitation for injury. I hate that, but it's the truth. Anyways, here is a duck: :borladuck:

Tonight I am squatting, even if I have to go light!

I've added mass pretty much all around, but of all my body parts, I think the ones that have shown the most growth/difference in appearance have been my calves. Thank you DC for that one! The negatives and holds are so brutal.

Workout updates and a couple fishing pics. I still don't have a working :frustrate camera! :frustrate :dunno:

Solid workout bro! Nice to see that weight stick! You'll be passing me in notime...this damn heat over here is brutal. Rest that back up bro, you don't want that to hinder your progress up to now. It's been quite a ride! I picked up some PPlex after seeing what you have done in this log, but I may be a year away from using it.

Looking all jacked da fukk up in those photos there Shaddow-Warrior!!!
Arms and delts looked like you just pumped 'em up!!

Keep killin' it, killer!!! :AR15firing:

Thanks, bro! It was a great run. I'm picking up some more T-Roid right now and looking into running it with M-drol at the end of August. I am not very familiar with SD clones (which I was not even aware M-drol was until very recently) so I need to read up a bit more to see if the two would even be compatible, but it sounds good in my head.

Shaddow, you're looking freaking beastly, bro. Those arms/delts are something to be proud of!
Thanks a lot, bro! Means a lot. If only my back and chest would catch up! LOL.

Sweet Lord that's a lot of Protein & Omegas! :684: Damn, now I'm sort of in the mood for fish.
Yeah, it is, isn't it? LOL! Good thing too, cuz I'd been out of fish oil for a while waiting for NP to finally restock.

geez, bro! looking good too, man. how are you feeling now?
Thanks, bro! I feel good. A little beat up, and my desire to lift and diet are not quite as high at the moment, but I'm still trying to push forward. I just started Cre-02 and might start something else cuz I feel like I need a boost. I have Prime and AP on hand, as well as divanyl and Stoked, but not sure if I should keep going that route? I may start Prime & AP though. We'll see.

Looking all jacked da fukk up in those photos there Shaddow-Warrior!!!

Thanks a ton, bro! It means a lot! I'm feeling a lot bigger these days, but still see that I have a long way to go. I'd like to add +30 to this frame, then cut to like 220ish. Think I can do it by next summer?

Wholy sheet bro! Arms/delts are crazy hyyuge!

I think you can do anything you set your mind to. Only you can stop yourself from accomplishing your goals. Next summer is a long time. I can see you being a lean, mean 220 lbs. :yup:
:yo: Fo Rizzle!!!

Assuming no injuries come your way, then yes it's possible. 30lbs of solid mass is a crap-load. I'd recommend a gradual bulk/recomp up to 230. Obviously you're going to have to eat, but just don't overdo it. 30lbs over a year means 2.5lbs/month. Make that your goal.

30lbs is ambitious, but do-able.

Maybe it's time I step it up, before everybody who used to be sub 200 makes a midget bitch out of me.

I am new to the site and was doing some research and fell upon this thread. Great thread and good infromation for myself. Shadow great job on your gains and also with the whole back injury and coming back strong after that. SUPER ENCOURAGING!!!!!!!!!!! Just started cutting about two weeks ago, down 12 pounds and 2%BF
