GMG760's cutting down for the San Diego Summer!

I love cooking, unfortunately I don't have much of a kitchen...

I can imagine that the apartment space has kitchen area low on the priority list. That would make me not cook so much either. I do love to cook it up when inspired but I like the out door charcoal grill the best.

Sunny made a good point G. Throw in some bananas here and there. I will can some WW slices of bread and almond butter. I good yogurt and granole snack. I will even do the Thunder EVOO shooter once in a while. I will be jumping into the VCO crew soon as well(Coconut Oil). I was also wondering where the w/o fit into the meals? Looks like a great meal set-up G!

Ive been doing an ECY cut for almost 3 weeks, trying to get in lower teen BF%, then hit up the cycle

Sweet Tom. Glad you're still kickin'. Hdrol again? Isn't this like round three with the same compound? I mean, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with hdrol, just you might respond better to something else this time.

Good News guys, it is the first day of Week 2, and I have noticeably lost some BF% and... I weighed in at 197 today. :D

This is gonna be a fun five weeks coming up!!!
 
CHEST/TRICEPS Day 8 of cycle.

BB Bench - 135x15, 185x10, 205x9, 215x6. Not bad for me, especially with my new ROM.
Incline DB - 60x10, 70x12, 80x7
Champagnes - 30x12, 35x15, 40x7
Cable Cross - 50x15, 60x12, 70x18... really pumped that last set out. I think the Tren took over for that one.

Skull Crusher - 25'sx15, 40'sx10, 45'sx7
Dips - 15, 15, 18
Cable rope pressdown (double pulley) - 70x15, 90x11, 110x9 drop to 70x8 drop to 50x10, drop to 30x20. The 30 times 20 was straight pain.

yes it is, thats why Im questioning it, I was thinking about PMag or Epi, basically something thats dry, and hairloss is an issue so thats why Im leaning towards Hdrol, and I seem to respond good to it. 30x20 was pain, the good pain or the bad pain?
 
Those triceps had to be blown up G! Champagnes?? Sounds like the growth has begun. Enjoy the ride G.
 
Yea I mentioned Champagnes earlier in my log... at least that is what my buddy who showed them to me called them.

You take two dumbbells with palms facing inwards... like at the top of the fly exercise, and keeping the dumbells barely touching you lower the thumb side until it touches your upper chest (the pinkie is higher than the thumb at this point). You then explode up pressing through the thumbs, rotating the thumb side of the dumbbell higher than the pinkie... I guess like pouring champagne... I dunno. It pumps the inner-upper pec up something wicked for me. I'll be substituting this for my db pullovers, I have one more week of the champagnes and I'm gonna make the switch.

crossovers 70x18? i think you got some strength on me man :)

that's gotta build up an insane pump - nothing gives a better chest pump than crossovers.

Eh, my crossover at my gym is a double pulley crossover... so it's considerably easier than a single pulley if that is what your gym uses. I can bust 110's for 7-8 if I am on a good day.... I've been just working on my form, and slowly moving back up the weights. It's very testing for me, as far as I have come to go backwards, but I need to put in the work, and put it in right. My chest is gonna come around.

And yea, I agree, nothing pumps my chest up like crossovers.

Day 8 of Cycle

No real side effects to note. Not really aggressive yet, but I am noticing it here and there. BP is fine. 125/78. My libido is up, but it is taking me forever to finish the job... which means I'm starting to shut down a bit, the boys are hanging tough though. Definately leaning out and getting more vascular. Diet is on point like it has never been before... no carbs after 6 for me. I think that is my biggest issue, is quelling my late night munchies with stuff like carrots or protein... I just crave carbs at night. I'm really doing well resisting at the moment. Stuffing my face during the day though.

Did Yoga today, there was a guy standing in front of me and in my way to see the mirror, but I could see an outline of myself around all the edges of him, I felt like the hulk! A cute blonde girl was giving me the eyes today at the gym... and then at yoga... but I think I know the guy she dates (or at least was dating the last time I checked)... so not really sure what to make of that. But definitely molesting me with her eyes, no mistaking that. So it was a good day at the gym. :D

Oh the workout? I thought you guys just wanted to hear about chicks. :boobies:

Back/Biceps
Pull ups - 12, 10, 10, 8 - drop set of pulldowns 180x6, 150x6, 120x14. Just squeezed my lats until I couldn't move them anymore... I think I must have tried and failed 3-4 times with the 120 before I quit. I just thought to myself... well, your on cycle, what the f*ck are you stopping at 10 for?
Tbar (hammerstrength wide grip) rows - 1platex20, 2platesx 15, 3 platesx10, 4 platesx4 ... I really don't like these as much as I like BB rows. I think my torso is just too long for the chest pad and I don't really get the ROM I want. 4 plates is too heavy for me, I lost my form. The weight feels much different off the center of a Tbar machine than the sides of a BB. I did them today because of how busy my gym was... I won't be doing that again.
DB rows - 70x15, 95x12(PR), 110x11 (PR) ... My second set went up 2 reps and 5 lbs, my last set went up a few reps... I would have grabbed 115, but my gym stops at 110.
RDL- 135x15, 225x10, 315x6... stopped there, lost my grip and back pumps were re-cock-u-lous. Forgot my taurine today. Oh well, I'll skip the 135 and just kill it next week.

seated db curls - 35x12, 40x10, 45x9
Pinwheel hammer curls - 40x15, 45x11

I decided to try a little less volume for my arms today... I just wanted to see if I was overtraining. I felt it was a bit lacking though... I think my biceps can just take more punishment. I failed on my last sets, but IDK... Gonna go back to preacher/BB curls next week, I get a better pump at the moment.

What do you guys think about volume for arm training? What is a good number of sets/exercises in your opinions?
 
Biceps have always been tough to figure for me too. I usually do something heavy at first like flat bb curls for 3 sets/6-8 reps.
Then db's with a twist at the top, still relatively heavy but more for like 10-12 reps.
Then I finish with preacher stuff. single arm preacher hammer grips till failure. Then preacher machine usually timm failure for 3 sets each.
But after back stuff my arms are sort of beat up anyway. Who knows. My bi's don't get overly sore anymore so I have been trying to change it up a lot lately with reps/weights/rest times. We'll see.
 
I really think its unnecessary to do more than 2 Bicep exercises, especially if you just blew through a back workout. I like to encorporate a drop set of some sort - then a concentration exercise. Just make them some beastly sets.

I feel you on the plate loaded T Bar... We have one with a chest pad, but also one without a chest pad that is decent.. I'll use that once in awhile.

I do like a low cable with one hand for a squeeze at the end. My bi's are at a bit of a stalemate so I have changed things a bit. We'll see.
I just want my arms to grow as big as Buster's.
 
Shnykies on those DB rows G. Monster weight! On biceps, I stopped following my back w/o with biceps. I have been working them before my leg w/o. This way they are fresh and can be hit heavy. It also sort of works them 2 days a week when they get used during the back w/o. Man I miss the gym bunnies when working out at home!!

I really think its unnecessary to do more than 2 Bicep exercises, especially if you just blew through a back workout. I like to encorporate a drop set of some sort - then a concentration exercise. Just make them some beastly sets.

oh ****.. chest pad? that's more like an ab pad if you keep your legs straight

That's the attitude that will surely induce results!!! We shouldn't have a pre-determined number of reps already prescribed in our minds. We should take our work sets to ABSOLUTE failure!!! That way we are doing our very best to get bigger and stronger. Oh.....and also leaner!! ha ha
 
Thanks guys... I am really trying hard. I feel like I f*cked up my Mdrol cycle and well... we all know where my last attempt landed me. Just trying to do this one right.
