Baby Wifey's Bucket of Happiness

just thought id post how much i enjoy reading your logs, great progress, you will be lifting your own weight, doing pullups easily before long, take care, Russian.

Well, you know - you've got a 120lb, 5' tall girl on one side of the net and all 240lb of ME spiking on her from the other side...

I bet when they see you go up to spike it they just fall to the ground and curl up in a ball ! :scared:

I like to yell things like, "BYAHHHH!!!!" while spiking for extra intimidation...I suck at spiking, though. 5'8", you know? :dunno:

A while back I was playing sand volleyball (no beaches in PA :( lol ) with some friends and some kids face got in the way of the ball when I spiked it.. Let's just say people scattered when I got close to the ball the rest of the night  lol

.

I've continued taking 2 caps of Reverse every morning. This stuff is having a serious impact on my libido- a very positive impact. :D Attention all Wifeys and Hubbys: Reverse is for the woman!!!!

Very interesting.......

I would be afraid to buy that for my wife if she didn't know what it was. An age-reversing supplement is definitely not a wise choice.

I wonder if you guys would do better with Reverse if you marketed it as a women's product.

It is really a product that both sexes can benefit from. :)

Thanks Russian. :) It is great to have you following my log.

 yeah, you'd want to explain to her the benefits of taking it before you actually gave her the bottle. She might take it the wrong way. ;)

Sometimes... I try to be nice, but y'know, stuff happens... :D

Yeah, you'd have to get some serious air for a good spike. :006:

I've actually gotten really good with ball placement. It's a lot of fun to go airborn and act like I'm gonna spike right into somebody's face, then gently tap the ball laterally so it goes right by them while they're flinching. The looks I get from doing this are priceless! :D

Very interesting.......

I can testify to the efficacy of a Formex/Reverse stack in the bedroom as well, though I do feel like this a getting a little bit personal... :dunno:

And it appears your wife is the instigator!

...I'll shut up from now on. I was just interested for the future, you know?

Ha. Yeah, I can definitely see where you're coming from - maybe BW can get IBE to put out a "Honeymoon" Stack: Formex/Reverse/X-Force for the guys, Reverse/X-Force for the ladies.

The X-Force? That's to keep you up all night.

The Reverse? That's to keep you up all night. ;)

:biglaugh: You both are funny. And yes, Reverse is some good stuff! :)

Today's Workout:

8x3

Clean and Press: 85, 95x3, 100x2, 105, 110 <PR

4x10 Circuit

Weight Assisted Pull Ups: BW-50, BW-60x3
DB Lunges: 27.5 lb DBs
Dips: Body Weight all 4 sets

4x15

Hammer Curls: 20 lb (2-3 sec eccentric every rep)
Overhead Tricep Extensions: 20, 15 lb

16 minutes on Treadmill, 4-5 mph

I went up in strength in all of my compound movements today. :D I was feeling very energetic, pumped and really strong! I haven't been able to pin point exactly why my performance was so great. I have had more carbs than usual over the weekend, I also had a very easily digestible breakfast and I drank more water than usual this morning and less while lifting. Perhaps this combo did the trick.

what if we are 21 years old. would this render reverse ineffective?

Resveratrol is a great anti oxidant that anyone can benefit from, regardless of their age. Reverse also contains Shilajit, which is an herb that improves sexual health, cognitive memory and is also an anti-inflammatory.

As far as the SERM like effects, they won't be as noticeable as if a 50 year old man were taking it, but a younger guy will certainly benefit.

Taking an anti-aging product at 19, I feel like I am being pro-active. I'd rather be taking care of my body now and prevent damage, than start up a butt-load of products when I am older and lots of irreversible damage has already been done.

Todays Workout:

4x10 Circuit:

DB Flat Bench: 32, 40, 47.5, 50 lb
<same as last week

DB Squats: 35 lb n<15-20 lb Increase since last week

BB Supinated Bent Rows: 70 lb < 10 lb increase since last week

Leg Bridges: 10 reps to each leg, BW <same as last week

4x20

BB Curls: 30 lb x3, 20 lb
BB Overhead Tricep Extension: 30 lbx2, 20 lb x2

25 minutes steady state cardio on Treadmill: 4- 4.5 MPH, 4 incline (Heart rate between 165-175 entire time)

I was very happy with the progress I made in my Bent Rows and Squats today. I feel as though I did very well, killed my muscles and still had some energy left over for cardio. :D Would have liked to have increased weight for my Bench, but it was too much for me to do this week. 10 lb increase in Rows was enough for my poor arms!

Yay for DB Presses! Log's looking good, keep hitting it.

Can see the upper abdominal definition starting to come out more. You have a nice shape, lady.

Today's Workout:

4x10

BB Deadlifts: 135, 145, 155, 165
< PR
Supersetted w/ Pull Downs: 105 lb

DB Shoulder Press: 30, 35, 37.5, 40 lb <PR
SS'd w/ Split Squats: 25 lb x1, Body weight

Cable Reverse Curls: 50 lb

Cable Rope Tricep Extension: 40 lb

15 minutes steady state cardio on treadmill: 3-4 MPH

So, I was stupid and left my intra workout shake at home. I forgot to bring it- haven't done that for months. :dunno: I felt a major lack of energy and it took me soooo much longer to feel ready for my next set. I felt like sh!t.

Nevertheless, I got in a good workout. I set a couple PRs, as you can see, which made me happy. :)

UGHHH!!! I hate when that happens! Really screws everything up...Depending on how far I've gone I'll turn around. It takes about ~2.5mins to get out of my neighborhood, and another 5mins to get to the gym...If I'll turn around at the half-way mark, but no further than that.

I had already gotten to the gym and was rummaging through my bag when I realized I didn't have it. :( Bleh. Resolve was kind enough to give me a few gulps of his shake.

It is incredible the difference an intra workout shake makes! I don't know how I used to lift without them. No wonder I hated lifting weights back then! lol

You aren't kidding! They make a huge difference...and I actually credit some of my weight gain on this cycle to my intra-wo shake. I just started using CHO's, mainly due to seeing you and Resolve using them, and I must say I love it. My mixture is currently:

2 scoops of Purple Wrath
20g BCAA
60g WMS
3 caps SLIN (cracked open into drink)
1000mg VitC

Once I run out of the PW I'll be switching to the new formula of LG BC+EAA Kiwi.

Cool! Oh, I credit some of my fat loss to my intra workout shake for sure! Mine looks like:

1 1/2 Scoops Purple Wraath
5-10 g BCAA
500-1000mg Vit C
12 g carbs from Dextrose
12 g Carbs from Malto
2 scoops GlycerGrow

^^^ I love it!

I think being able to cycle it is a huge help as well. Since that's my intra-wo drink, I only have it 4x/week, so my off days don't include the extra WMS. I'm sure that makes a difference in my body keeping fat gain to a minimum...I think in PCT I'll lower it to 30mg WMS.

I only use that combo on lifting days as well.

Great stuff on the PRs girl! (I am loving doing deadlifts again; weird, though, after really having not done them for almost 2.5 years).

Interesting about the intraworkout shake. Anything other than water when I'm training and I'd feel bleh.

Hmm, that is interesting. People respond differently to various things. :)

Yes. Like I prefer to train on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. I feel better. My strength is better :dunno: We're all individuals, and even though our physiology is the same it is also different.

Saturday's Workout:

4x10 circuit

Smith Machine Squats: 145, 155, 165 x2 lb
DB Bent Rows: 27.5 lb
Step Ups: 27.5 lb, Body weight x3
Push Ups: Body Weight

4x15
Cable Bi Curls: 40 lb
Cable Tricep Curls: 60 lb

There were WAY to many people at the gym yesterday. Both squat racks were being used; one by a man who was using his for decline bench pressing and shrugs, the other for horrible form platform squats. I ended up using the smith machine, which worked ok. My quads are shot! and I got a good workout in. Then I went to the beach, watched dolphins play in the water and spent a lot of time with close friends.

My days are beginning to get busy. With a cross country move coming up on the 28th, planning and preparation have to take place. Not to mention all the visitations that I want to make to my friends and family before I drive 1500 miles away from them all!

Workout:

4x10 Circuit:

DB Deadlifts: 110, 120, 130 x2 <This is total weight of both dumbells
DB Shoulder Press: 35, 37.5 x2, 40 lb
Split Squats: BW + 20 lb DBs
Narrow Grip Supinated Pull Downs: 105, 120 x3

Hammer Curls: 22.5, 20 x3
DB Overhead Tricep Extensions: 17.5 x2, 15 x2

15 minutes on Stair Master

Workout felt great! I had a HUGE pump and was feeling VERY energetic. I actually completed my circuit in 15 minutes, which is at least 10 minutes less than usual. I had all of my lifting done within 30 minutes- and it was very nice to be finished so quickly!

I've been doing quite good lately. Supplements are all treating me well. X-Force still provides it's amazing energetic effects, Reverse and Forskolin are both keeping my libido HIGH. Intra workout shake is awesome to have when I am working out. I've been making a conscious effort NOT to forget it lately! so far I have succeeded.

On a side note, I've got some weird rash/ irritation on my forehead. I don't know what it is from, but it looks like I scraped my head or got some kind of bug bite. I've had it for a week and it is slowly healing up. It is so random! At first I thought it had something to do with my sun burn, but I doubt that is it. I've had a couple people tell me it looks like hives. Bleh. I really hope not.

Digging the rep range! Nice work on those DB Deads!

...as for the rash, maybe Resolve applied Eviscerate to your forehead while you were sleeping. :dunno: - Or perhaps fleas?...MRSA?...Don't ask me. I'm a hypochondriac when it comes to skin problems. I'll just make you worry further.

I waited until she was out cold and applied a liberal dollop of swine flu, which I just happen to keep a vial of on hand. :sly:

Speaking of which, did you guys see the zombie flue "report" that has been circulating the net? I was cracking up!

Edit: WTF? All our rep power is down by a factor of 10

Ha. Ya. Roland posted it in my log.

I think it is just from a bug bite. Apparently it could be hives, caused by some allergy. Not as serious as I had suspected.

:wave2:

Hm, I missed that - and I usually am so up to date in there. :(

That was probably where BW found it - she was the one who showed it to me.

It was really late last night when I read the article on the Zombie flu, and I crawled into bed laughing. I decided to tell Resolve the story before we went to sleep. He ended up having nightmares last night.

how has the neovar been treating you? i know my girlfriend wants to try lean fx, but she has had weird thyroid problems in the past and i dont wanna let her take something that might cause thyroids problems again... so do you think neovar would be beneficial to my girl? whats it do?

Neovar has been working fine. I will start feeling a little hypoglycemic if I wait for more than 20 minutes after dosing 3 caps.

Neovar is creatine with an insulin mimetic. Pretty much its purpose is to help with insulin sensitivity and to shuttle the food eaten after dosage to your muscles for recovery. If your girl is lifting and eating properly, Neovar could very well benefit her as well as yourself.

babywifey explained this rather well. NeoVar should nto cause thyroid problems, and is beneficial to anyone who does resistance training. For more information check it out on the AN site.

Neovar is one of my favorite supps, it's one of the best creatines, IMO.

^^^ x 2.

she tried glycobol and didnt like it because it made her feel "bloated" and fat. do you think neovar is too similar to glycobol that she wont like it. also it has creatine so she might feel more bloated! hmmmm..... contemplating

Sounds like she didn't time it right...or she is just confusing bloat with muscle density.

yeah thats what i told her.... she really likes stoked when i let her try it, but shes worried about it because its an AI and she doesnt wanna lose her boobs. any thoughts on this?
