Update!

* SO SORE ! Holy $hit ! My back, traps, chest, arms . . . . It's just throbbing everywhere; I LOVE it ! Feeling large and volumized, as well; I'm LOVING this !

* I've been talking to the company Cellucor about becoming a potential fitness model/sponsored athlete for them. Cellucor is based out of CS/Bryan, and I know most of the guys over there. If I were to become a sponsored athlete of theirs, I'd be getting a pay check for my personal supplements on a month to month basis, and that's just the beginning. I'm really wanting to see if there's any room for me in the fitness industry, and having a local company here to back me up and give me a kick start is definitely a pro. Myself and three friends are planning on doing the Branch Warren Classic in July/August, and I'm dropping in on the LoneStar Weekend coming up in Houston in early May.

* Today should be an OFF day. My girl is coming down after my classes are done with for the day, and tomorrow we're heading out to Houston for the day; might be an additional OFF day. Regardless, I've got my fridge loaded up with thawed chicken and deer meat, and I'm ready to stay anabolic. Counting down the final days before PCT. Coming up in 5-6 days.

Blech. I'm so turned off by pro-bodybuilding...basically any competitive bodybuilding. I dig fitness and athletics and sports, but competitive bodybuilding (strictly the competition aspect; the stage, etc) is just straight up...fag. I don't know what else to call it.

I wouldn't go that far with it, but it has its downsides thats for sure. To each his own, if thats what makes you happy then do what you want(not the gay part). I couldn't do it though.

Day #28 Update:

* Yesterday, Wednesday, was initially an OFF day, but because I knew I'd be busy all day today, THursday, I figured I'd throw in a quickie. Just like my deltoid session the other day, I did a 30 minute abs/biceps/triceps routine, supersetting and trisetting everything. Quick, intense, hellacious pump, nasty veins . . . all I was looking for in that workout, I got. Including 50 lbs DB concentration curls for 12-15 reps.

* Today was my ACTUAL day OFF. I spent the day in Houston with my girl; I haven't been 'back home' in H-town in 10 months or so, so it was a good day ! Been eating lean due to it being my OFF day.


* I've been taking my Beta Blockers for one week now, not really noticing anything in particular. No easing in sweating/perspiration, which is FRUSTRATING. Sitting in my girls BMW today with the Cool air on 70 degrees blowing @ 75-80%, and I was STILL sweating on and off. My condition seems to be 'if I think about it/worry about it for long enough, I'll suffer from it' - - - meaning, whenever I sit in a car, I am consciously aware that this is a 'claustrophobic' area where I am known to have gotten warm/overheated before, and without proper A/C I will do it again. THis CONSTANT fear is what's f*cking with my head; this CONSTANT fear is what dupes my body into 'Anxious Mode' at all times. It's a REAL mind-f*ck. Basically, I'm sweating because I WORRY about starting to sweat . . . . The ONE time I felt full relief of this - although temporarily - was when doing TWO weekly acupuncture sessions in China for 4 weeks straight a couple Christmases ago. In China, that's actually affordable; not a chance in hell will I pay $20-40 twice weekly for such therapies her in the States.

* Hellacious pump once again, going into the final couple of days of my Liquidrone run. Strength and stamina was up as well, very impressive. I was looking veiny, and definitely like a freak-of-not-natural proportions. It's obvious . . . like I've said before, I'm ' ON' . .

* Acne on shoulders and upper/outer arms is bad. Hoping this'll clear up going into PCT. I'm fearing a further increase of it in PCT, however . . .
 
Do you mind having the look of being on? I've never "looked on" before, or at least to other gym-rats, but I've probably sat on the threshold of having that look.

Hmm . . it's a little of both; depends on where I am and who I'm around. At work (night clubs), I don't mind it obviously; random girls wanting pics and feeling up my arms, etc. In the gym, I LOVE it; BUT, it's getting REAL obvious ! hahaha . . I don't mean to sound cocky, but I don't belong in that gym. When pumped, I got a naaaaasty, veiny, freaky fullness going on; and with the amount of trap work I'm doing, they're popping out more and more, week by week. That's among the primary reasons for my looking 'ON' - my traps are jacked during my workouts.

Around my girl, NO GOOD AT ALL ! haha . . she implies this and that regarding my overall size, pec (or BOOB) size, and just this past weekend, when we stood across from one another in an elevator, she pointed at shoulder and said, 'can you get rid of that bump?'. Thinking she pointed at my AC-joint that's still slightly protruding (from the separation in Jan '08.), I said, 'oh, that's always gonna be there, it's my bone poking out'. She goes, NO, I'm talking about your lumps on the side of your neck. They're getting too big, they always gonna be that way!?' .... LOL ..

But my growth is more obvious in person, than I initially thought seeing myself in the mirror every day. I hadn't worked in over a week, and I worked the night club last night, and most of my friends and 'regulars' who saw me gave me the 'WTF' look and commented when I was gonna stop growing. It's kinda funny to think of though; there have been guys at my gym who have been ON cycle, and it's obvious as a mutha (real AAS), and then ONE DAY, they disappear . . this happens to be after 10-12 weeks of being at the gym. What makes me feel better about it all is that I'm always 'that guy' who's at the gym, whether ON or OFF. I know that once OFF, I'll get back to a leaner, more toned up self, but I'll fight to maintain strength, etc. I won't merely bail on the gym, and come back 10-12 weeks after concluding a 10-12 week cycle, only to jump back on the AAS.

When I weighed 230 and I told my girlfriend I was going on a cut, she said "you're not going to get any bigger are you!"

However, luckily, her threshold for man-size is pretty decent, she was the same weight as her previous boy friend and she enjoys NOT being the one making her man feel safe & dainty in her embrace. She doesn't want me any smaller then where I am, but i'm not necessarily "small."

* the FINAL arm workout on Liquidrone; it's a sad, sad day !!! I had one naaasty a$$ pump today. Popped a double serving of an NO2 product 60 minutes pre-workout, and I swear this further brings my arms to another level. My arms don't fit my body when i work out; they look retarded big !

* strength is up; laying EZ bar extensions with 125 lbs for 12 reps and threee sets - I was impressed ! And the stamina and endurance aspect of my whole workout; IMPRESSIVE !

hey viking, what do you do for your upper chest? My mid chest is beginning to develop nicely and so is my upper chest, but it still does not feel near as dense.

Man, it's not so much about what kind of chest routine I'm using, but more of the quality and variation of my training, while simultaneously hitting the muscle from each and every angle possible. The reason for why I say this is because I have not stuck to any one given chest training program; no magical '12 Week to Popping Pecs' from FLEX Magazine; no quick fix-me-up through online training programs.

. . . it's been my overall commitment to not leave the gym until I've squeezed as much blood and nutrients into the individual muscles that I possibly can. If I've got energy to spare at the end of my pec-session, I'd rather finish up with 2-4 supersets/dropsets, than wrap it up and go home. My rep scheme has never been consistent/the same; reps are from 2-30 reps; I believe my variation from workout to workout as well as set to set rep range has a tremendous overall impact on my development.

.. BUT, I'll throw down a couple of pointers that I firmly believed has helped in my recent development:

* Incline Hammer Presses - utilizing various grip-widths from workout to workout; various rep ranges (be it from week to week and set to set); set as #1 exercise in workout.

* Decline Barbell Press - I find shoulder width grip to be the most comfortable on my shoulder joints; from my warm up through my working sets, I always put my chin down on my upper chest. Rep range is ALWAYS slow on Decline Presses due to the awkward strain it puts on my shoulder joints.

* Dumbbell Pullovers - they will forever remain uncomfortable, but they give you a stretch to your overall rib-cage, serratus, lats and pecs like you wouldn't believe !

* Pec-dec FLyes - I'm surprised to find myself recommending the Pec-dec FLyes over regular Dumbbell Flyes (or Cable Flyes, for that matter), being that it is a machine with a fixed angle, etc. But the stretch I get from these - -- NOTHING compares ! One thing I've noticed seeing other guys doing these at the gym is their tendency to let their elbows drop once it gets heavy, and this directly removes the pectorals out of the movement, and places more stress on front deltoids/triceps. By keeping my arms perpendicular to the floor throughout the movement, while maintaining a slight bent elbow, I find that I get a stretch that covers the entire bottom 75% of my chest [i.e. seems to target middle/lower pecs quite superiorly].

** 60 minutes pre-workout, I loaded up 1.5 servings of Chocolate Muscle Milk w/6oz. milk and 8 oz. water. This was so bitter-sweet, filling, and gave me terrible stomach cramps; I had to bail within two exercises of my leg workout before I felt my bowels wanting to let loose. I 'ran' outta the gym, got back home.

** today was SUPPOSED to be an OFF-day, but my mind won't let me take a day off. I've had four NUTTY days in the gym in a row now . . maybe even 5. INcluding back/traps, shoulders/traps, biceps/triceps/abs and leg-day. No f*cking wonder it was hard to put my head in the game today.

I agree. I'm doing DC training right now and I use the pec deck for my deep stretches after hitting chest and it's money. I greatly prefer it to stretching with db flies like is generally recommended.
