thanks man. Yeah I will be looking to narrow it up next time see if i can increase my weight some. my chest definitely like that workout though because I am sore today for the first time in forever

Sore is good!, so are you keeping all your chest/bench w/os at 6 reps now for a bit? Ive been pondering thoughts through my head about switching mine up...I might try those 5x5's for a while maybe I can move up in weight:think:

yeah I am going to be following this format for about 1-2 months and revert back to 5x5. I think these are going to be my alternating mass workouts. I exploded in strength from 5x5, but didn't really gain alot of weight, although measurements did increase from mirror image and posing I have video'd

great to hear it worked so well for you.. When is that show coming up man? you had told me , but i had to erase my PM box, over load:)

not till mid october. I have plenty of time and intend to use it. I plan to try to hit 190-200 by around june or july. If I do I will freak out! It is so hard to maintain just a straight forward 175-180 Lbs on my frame.
 
alright I am hoping in the shower I am covered in sweat. Tonight I weighed in at 175 post workout. I seriously ate like 8000 cals today. I had a 1000 cal burrito plus my normal diet!! So i think that has to do with the huge weight increase is short amount of time haha. workout update to come in the next hour.
 
So tonight started out cool I weighed in at 175 Lbs which is great news... but I am pretty confident I am still around 173 and that this is just water/ food weight. Workout tonight went smoothly, my biceps definitely felt uneven though... I am interested in finding a measuring tape to see what the difference is because my left arm/ side of my body in general feels much weaker compared to my right.

Pumps were obviously noticeable tonight. Vascularity was up and veiny as usual. I got a comment tonight about gaining some size from some girls who live in my apartment complex. Strength sucked but oh well it will come.

damn fights with the girl suck... it completely killed my day. Now I'm getting my good bible time reading song of songs to just chill out. Anyone want to trade protein powders? I have lik 4.5-4 lbs of cin bun and im tired of it. Ive probabaly got like 3-4 days left of sustain and have 2 more bottles on the way. I can;t decide to run t911 or hold off for a special treat I will be doing... muahaha
 
I think the cinn bun would get a little too much after a while . . . a nice treat I am sure, but I couldnt eat real cinn buns daily! I CAN eat chocolate daily so I always stick with the basics. So I am predictable its part of my charm, my twinkle.

yeah man I enjoyed cupcake batter alot and used 5 lbs no problem, also go the girl hooked so she bought her own 5 lbs but, cinn just doesn't make a good shake with anything IMO

any areas lacking hit me up. Once again these aren't very accurate so there are some spots weaker than others due to posing and flex.
 
i had 2 lbs of cinnabun and it got old about a quarter of the way through the tub. its just sitting here doing nothing...
 
Work out looked great Tex. cant view the pics because I am at work right now. but your back is looking big and solid in your AV.. need to get me one of those:) hahahaha
 
I think the wider the grip the better in terms of growth and shape. If your chest and shoulders feel good, why stop? Narrowing your grip will allow you to press more weight though. Typically I've noticed power/strength lifters have narrower grips than body builders do. Both grips have their benefits IMO.

Overall you look fairly symmetrical for your size...do you have a fairly large waist or is it just those pics? You have sort of a GSP build...

yeah my hips are 34 inch, so i assume my waist is about the same maybe 32 inches? In regards to staying lean, I don't try to but I just naturally do. I pretty much never lose vascularity or my abs for some reason no matter how dirty of a bulk I have. I guess that's just luck.

tail is no problem, I have a long term girlfriend haha! As for booze, I hit that up hard in sophmore highschool. I cleaned my act of and have been clean since. I am proud of it although it does leave me bored occasionally.
 
Man tonights workout was a bit of a change for me. I went ahead and switched up some exercise stances and foot placement to try and hit a few areas I feel are my weak spots. These weak areas are my inner quad (upper and lower), and just my legs in general... I must say for a first workout like this I am definitely feeling it where i meant to.

ATG Toe raised squat

Hex Bar Deadlift's

So for the whole log and pretty much my whole life I have only ever gone parallel on squats, I have tried ATG and it just didn't feel like a possibility for me and I felt a huge stress on my knees. Tonight I elevated my toes at the beginning of my arch with a 10 Lbs weight... this put all the pressure on my inner quad near my knee. Sore as hell and definitely caused me to drop the weight. I felt like I was about to have a hemmroid on the 315 lbs squats by the 4th rep.

I also throughout this log have been doing standard BB deadlifts, tonight i switched up to hex bar in an attempt to put a bit more direct pressure oh the legs...I think it helped somewhat, but my legs were shot by the end of squats. I was hoping to throw in some lunges, but just couldn't manage it tonight since I need to be studying...

Tonight was also the first time working my shoulders in a long time, i rarely if ever work them because at one point they became my dominant feature and overshadowed everything quite a bit. I will now be hitting these one time a week just like everything else

So one week into this program and I have to say I love it! I'm not too sure how much strength will increase, but I really feel like I can get some serious growth out of this. I also weighed in tonight at 174-175 lbs so I think the weight might be a bit more than just added water weight like I assumed.

Thats why I keep it nice and steady, never to the point of it becoming a problem for work/life. That way I can continue to have my fun!

It is unfortunate that happens, people get into something TOO much where it becomes a real problem then they must abstain to stay on the straight and narrow . . . or else.

Good for you in getting your act together and recognizing your weakness.
 
You have ballz doing toe raised squats. Id be afraid of falling backward. This focus on the hams more?

cool on the smith...i was gonna say...with those weights and free squatting this would be dangerous as hell....
 
I would love to have a trap bar. Maybe just do some deadlifts with db to your side with some straps?
 
mine is a trap bar. woo woo! trying to kill those legs. and yeah haha I would never think about elevating a certain part of leg unless it was smith. too risky and dangerous, but let me tell you guys.... I am sore as **** tonight.

damn some people piss me off at the gym. I understand some people think i must have little man syndrome because I am small but like to hell and lift heavy weight (for me at least). This guy who was some tall lanky guy was using the cable machine so i could do my cable pulls. he leaves I wait for him to come back and ask him if he his done and he proceeds to tell me he is still using them in a loud voice and kind of snappy voice... even though i just asked him. Damn people like that make me want to sock em square in the face, but he was not worth my time. Then my workout partner and I sit there waiting on this guy for approximately 15 minutes. Get this... he was doing the same damn exercise on both cable pulls only with heavier weight on one. So I am sitting here thinking are you F*n kidding me? This guy is just taking his damn time when I am ready to get out of here and bust some ass. Finally he gets off after a damn near half hour of the same exercise... overtraining? I think so. Ok rant is over. Tonight workout though I was not very motivated. I had trouble finding music to get me up to beat as well and just was not pumped to hit the heavy ass weight. I think it is time I try to experiment with some RPM or something again. I need to go pick up some stuff for an adrenal cleanse.

i think I am getting sick too because my throat is freaking killing me, I have been coughing, and an extremely runny nose. Ahh life is rough right now not to mention all my midterms this week....

no roid rage yet. more like sustain alpha rage. BTW today was my last day of sustain. I am stopping all supplements for a couple weeks in preparation for my next phase of supplementation. BTW I also has strep or something... I have for like 3 days, but kept ignoring it. Everyone around me has it, but I cannot find time to make it to a doctor and the antibiotics they prescribe for it I am highly allergic to. Damn this week is pissing me off! I meant like small man syndrome, its where they are short guys all big to try and make up for their lack of height.

yeah that 35 lbs was dang hard!! Eh I am pretty sure i have strep, all my friends are getting diagnosed with it now... and in the middle of mid terms. damn :squintfinger:
