(But on a side note real quick: you guys hear of that chick in Cleveland who exercised her 71yr old husband to death? Had him in a pool swimming, wouldn't let him get out, video shows her telling him 'no' like some 35 times or something when he's obviously telling her he needed out; ended up having a heart attack.. Damn, talk about 'Black Widow' -- I think I'll be cool watching 'Sleepless in Seattle' with my girl over worrying 'bout some madness like that!)

Okay, little food pic, breakfast this morning, pretty typical:
5oz turkey breast
1/4 cup steel cut oats
1 whole egg + 2 whites
1 grapefruit

This can be altered for the higher carb day by simply removing the whole egg and replacing with a slice of Ezekiel bread, or by doubling up to 1/2 cup steel cut oats (or 1 cup regular oats), or 3/4 cup regular oats + 1 piece Ezekiel.. well you get the idea.

Concerning Valentines and girl movies... the way I look at it is a mans got to know how to melt his womans heart. Romance must be kept alive no matter the cost... for both your sakes...

I'm not as cut as I'd like to be quite honestly; I was hoping for more from the Lean/Ripped stack, but as I've already said it's only the halfway point for that.
Probably should've shaved first..

Your not liking the Methyls? I think the Ripped is good, not amazing, but it seemed good. The Lean I think is what does it.

Thanks bro. Yeah the Lean, I like the idea of that for sure. First nighttime fat-burner I've ever tried (not many out there are there..)
As for the Ripped -- I don't even feel it, no boost whatsoever. Not a fan.
I just think, as much as my diet has been nailed to a "T", I was anticipating much more leanness. But this is without any tricks no de-salting or de-watering or carb-loading or anything like that..
I'm still underwhelmed with myself.

Yes, I know you to be smarter than that...I've never heard of someone that takes Beverly products as well as BSN. That would be odd. It's like anti-hype vs. over-hype

Yeah, I didn't feel much after the 1st few days from the Ripped, but I got really lean while taking both of them so I'm not going to complain haha.
But in all realality it could have just been the Lean (putting diet and exercise out of the pic as that was already dialed in).

Edit: Snag, have you noticed they only sell the Lean with the Ripped System.. that's stupid. I went looking just now for individual bottles and they don't sell them anymore.

dang snag looking good. that is my goal is to get to how you look right now. what is your season and off season weight?
Now that depends.. this past offseason before I got sick I had weight up to 207ish for a minute, pretty solid..
I've never competed out of middleweight before, but I'm steadily moving up the chain. Weight today was 185.3 upon rising (probably like 190 right now tho..) :)

Yeah that pack was originally produced in 2006, and I really don't think they had it manufactured all that long for some reason.
I think the only thing they even make anymore is the 'Hardcore' variation, which really doesn't even interest me..
I think I'll run some Recreate along with this Ripped until it's gone, then start a lean gain phase for awhile, go off all fat burners.

And how is Recreate btw? I've been thinking of trying it out sometime this Spring.

Yah I know what Snag is going through, sometimes it's hard to be objective about yourself in the situation he's in. Yah Snag what they said.. your right on the money, on the cusp and in control.

Much appreciated. I'm just an impatient mofo, think I should be able to do anything I want to my physique within certain timeframes, and sometimes I shoot a little high..
It is a process for sure, I just need to be within that process a bit longer to get the results I am aiming for.
I'm just chomping at the bit to get some lean gain going on!! :bruce1:
Bottom line tho -- I'm pretty pleased with the progress I've made since the start of this log.
 
Day #55 (or something like that I think) Back/Abs

Ugh.. First really crappy workout of the segment, and 'crappy' is fitting, as I've had the runs all day..
Got some samples from GNC of the new Cytogenix CYTONOX (pre) and CYTOCELL (post) products, needless to say I am not a fan. The CYTONOX did absolutely nothing for energy or intensity, felt like I just stepped out there training with no supps. No boost within the workout, nothing. I was pretty shocked. Pounded the CYTOCELL afterwards along with my Purple Wraath and other BCAA's, ate 30min later, and found myself in the bathroom 5min after that. Seriously. Been there another 4x since. Not cool..
I'll throw the rest of these samples to my brother (gotta keep the dude off-balance every now & then, hehehe.. he was supposed to be riding along in this thread a long time ago, don't know what happened to him -- so I'll throw some brotherly love his way).. :twisted:
 
Reps for that food pic; Reminds me of how great it tastes when you simmer it in some Diced Tomatoes/Tomato Sauce with extra Pepper, Garlic, Thyme and Basil. Then dip in some healthy bread afterwards = delicious!

Ahh yes -- love dipping some Ezekiel in a smidgen of olive oil along with that meal. Unfortunately, I've not relaxed the diet quite that much to this point, but it does sound good!
 
Snags - is that your kitchen I saw in the Recreate ad? I wish I had a nice big kitchen. My meals would be so much more interesting consistantly.

All right fellas, calling in the cavalry here. Got some Beverly supps that'll be here tomorrow that we'll roll with thru the end of this log (SpicyTuna will be proud, ahaa):
Some Lean Out and 7-Keto MuscLean (the latter being great for old guys like me), and some Ultra-40's (ran out of these guys, was just gonna finish out the cycle without them but decided against it); some Density as well (it was a good deal, couldn't resist..)
Never ran the 7-Keto before, but I figured wth.. let's finish this thing up strong.
Getting ready to have a bowl of chili tonight -- made with turkey breast..mmmmm..

Also, upping my Resveratrol thru the end of this segment, 1000mg daily.

Day #56 Legs

Last heavy leg day in this run.. played around with 315 BB squats, slow eccentric w/ explosive concentrics, felt good and strong. Followed with DB lunges, then supersetted leg extensions w/ leg curls; ended with BB standing calf raise ss w/ one-legged DB calf raise. 60sec rests thruout.. done in 32min today.

Postworkout nutrition:
1 bottle Isopure
4 organic rice cakes

That's it for complex carbs today, only fibrous greens & some ff cottage cheese rest of day for my carb sources. Weight was 188.2 upon rising, holding a smidgen of water still from my cheat day the other day, but no worries -- it'll be eliminated. I'm really very pleased with maintaining this 185-ish range thruout while leaning out, considering I started this run at a deflated 186 just 8 weeks ago..
