Big Changes coming to the Planet

this is a huge step in the right direction!
peace of mind knowing you are paying for actual safe/quality products is priceless.
hopefully you as customers will demand this type of quality control from everyone so eventually it will remove the scams and shady business practices that have tainted this industry.
if the industry can self regulate, it will remove the need for as much fda intervention.
 
this is awesome. it gives me no greater pleasure to support companies like this. plus i can wholeheartedly recommend nutra to friends and family well knowing that they are in good hands. :thumbsup:

For the most part costs will remain relatively the same. These will be finished products with independent laboratory tests to confirm material identity and microbial testing.

Oh, and this should make you happy Aussie...we're working with FedEx to bring international shipping costs down, so stay tuned brotha!

Excellent quote Hank. This is one of the most asked about aspects about our bulk line. When consumers contact us about bulks, they like to know we are GMP certified. Because of the extra business this can bring, this has the potential to lower the cost of products in the long run for sure.

Q: What does this mean?
A: GMP means Good Manufacturing Process. The GMP Certification program is to ensure that all elements of the manufacturing process are reviewed, so that products meet their intended quality. Third-party on-site inspections of manufacturing facilities cover such areas as: disease control and cleanliness, establishment of a quality control unit, test methods, expiration dating, and procedures for storage and distribution.

Once certified, member manufacturers are given a compliance rating. A member supplier must receive an "A" rating in order to pass. Q: Lots of companies say they are GMP compliant. Isn't this the same thing?
A: NO! GMP compliant and GMP certified are completely different. Where as NutraPlanet.com's products will be certified, meaning they have been checked and audited by a third party, merely compliant products are never checked in this manner for safety or purity. Compliant products have not been as rigorously tested as certified products, and they are not able to carry the GMP seal of approval.

Q: Awesome! So this means my NutraPlanet.com products are guaranteed to be pure of toxins,m heavy metals and to meet label claims?

Q: Why don't all companies have their products GMP certified?

can we please have both shipping options as fedex has a habbit of removing stuff not on the banned list, i wont be using fedex ever with my purchases, USPS all the way

lol. it don't bother me. getting what i paid for at a great price is not really a good reason to complain :)
 
Our goal is to eventually transition the entire line but we are starting out with the top 5 bulk powders. Which ones are they? You'll have to wait and see...
 
After looking at the new rate proposal that FedEx offered us, the FedEx rates should be in line with the USPS.

However, USPS rates will remain the same because there is no negotiating with the post office on rates. We charge what they charge...our rates come directly from the USPS database.

Please be aware we are working hard to bring international shipping rates as low as possible. If anyone has any suggestions to help bring rates down, please PM me.

awsome guys! Nutra yall rock and thank you for this. This is something that is huge! only thing that makes me worry even though it would be better not to have it, is i hope that this wont make some of my favorite products canceled. It would be better to know, but would still suck. lol.

It shouldnt cause the discontinuation of any product lines ideally.

Precisely our reasoning; GMP prevents people from cutting corners, which is often what leads to compromises in product quality and safety. even as a budget-conscious student, I realize that paying a small premium (And we're actually trying to keep the cost the same) is worth it for my health, especially after the recent tainted food scandals.

Say our raws continue to come from China: they will arrive at the manufacturer and be placed in quarantine. Tests will be run to insure the material is free of mold, viruses, general toxins, etc. It will then be released from quarantine and then assayed against the COA. It it passes that, it is assayed again to detect heavy metals, other contaminants and purity. It is then manufactured where they have 2-3 safety checks along the way. they will also pull finished goods from the production line as assay them all over again to insure the products meet label claims and all other previous tests are still in accordance with the new data found in the finished items.

Each and every check and process uses a two-person team to test, weigh, inspect, blend, fill, bottle and assay again.

This is some serious quality control, and until now, could not be found in any bulk product, anywhere.

This is excellent news to hear.

I dont mind paying extra for GMP products AT ALL.

When will this go into full effect? When will ALL NP products be under this GMP umbrella so to speak?
