Danggg, where has my Asian friend been? Hope you haven't been done in by that bug you came down with..
Last I heard, you were grooving on the chili!
Sorry about the lack of updates peoples. It was my first week back at school and one of the MOST hectic. I've had about 3 "last semesters" and I've had to see my Degree Auditor and GE Auditor back & forth with the most simplistic of concerns just to be damn sure this won't be my fourth "last semester."
I made my bulk Snag Chili part deux last night.
2lbs 97% lean ground beef.
2 red onions
1 bell pepper
5 jalapeno peppers
3 large cans of diced tomatoes
3 cans of Red Kidney Beans
Although the turkey ground is much tastier then lean ground, I had no idea how different the macros were.
Lean Turkey: 7g fat, 12g protein
Lean Beef: 1.5g fat, 25g protein!
As expected, this weeks weight loss was much slower. I think I lost 1lb. I'm still sitting between 200-202lbs, I was 201.6lbs this morning. I'm still a bit sick, but that's because I continued with my two-a-days training. I think I'm about 90% over my cold now and today is a full rest day.
Furthermore, my Recreate and DCP came in and I'm actually going to take advantage of the post superbowl six-pack-stack this time. I believe in Recreate. I'm still figuring out how to best balance my schedule with two lifts and meals, between 1 full time job, 1 part time job and 9 units of class. I'll work it out, I actually had a more cumbersome schedule last semester, because ontop of everything I just listed, I also had a part time internship, which I am free of now.
I've been lifting more Snag style ever since my cut. Same weight throughout 3-4 sets and keeping my reps as close to 10 and above as possible, but it's psychologically detrimental to me, I don't feel like I'm pushing myself enough because I've always set-pyramided, whether strength or hypertrophy, I would set-pyramid. However, I've been at an aesthetic stale mate awhile, in terms of musculature, so I'll stick with this for a bit longer before I return to set-pyramiding, while keeping with higher volume in reps.
