thats deepEverything is a learning curve TG, I think you have made a CRAZY transformation since I first was on the boards last april. Diet is definately the most difficult thing for me to master. The weights come easy, the supplements come easy, eating right is downright tough as hell for me.
I think the hardest part is getting lean then losing strength and size, then when you gain it back, you lose the lean-ness that you are used to seeing in the mirror. It can be quite the mindf*ck, at least for me. But as bodybuilders we have to look at the bigger picture. I stopped thinking about how I would look next week, I started thinking about how I will look in 3 months, then in 3 years. Our bodies grow slowly, as we are consistently watching them, but progress is consistent with those of us that are serious, whether we realize it or not. The fact that you may have made mistakes on this recomp are not a big deal, in fact they are a blessing, because you will be that much better the next time around. We learn from our mistakes, not our successes. Often our successes blind us. The sweet is never as sweet without knowing what the sour tastes like.

HIIT is the only way to go! Why waste time walking on a treadmill for an hour twice a day like Ronnie Coleman, when you can hit the HIIT for 30 minutes once every other day??!! I pop in a bodybuilding DVD and go at it!! :cool2:I converted my fasted sessions to HITT now, I guess it makes sense...if you can lift fasted why not HITT fasted. The main reason for me is I hate cardio and HITT takes less time so I don't get too bored.
Only 1 day left on this recomp. Time flies when you're having fun. And despite some recent personal problems, I'm still having loads of fun!!
I'm leaning out very nicely with new veins, especially when I'm pumped. Don't you guys wish we could stay pumped non-stop??!! We look totally different during an intense weight session. A friend of mine told me that I completely morph and transform when I'm pumped!! :yup:
I'm keeping carbs low now. But I've increased protein intake considerably since taking those photos last Thursday. That was a wakeup call. I looked skinny IMO. I had dropped calories too much in an effort to speed up the recomp effects. :zx11pissed:

I'm considering the Epi/D-Bol as a lean bulker. I'll never bulk again! The Epithio is included to off-set the wetness of the D-Bol. I have done this before and it works fabulously!! The gains will be hard and lean. The way she likes it! LOLSo are you considering your cycle a bulk rather than a recomp? If it was just the Dbol, I'd consider it a bulk a guess since it's such a wet compound, but that Epi should keep you nice and dry!
I totally agree about the pump, TG. When I'm walking down the street in my normal clothes, I'm sure nobody thinks much, but when I'm pumped...LOOK OUT, BABY!
Are you upping the carbs daily, or are you just going to have refeed days? I added Wednesday as a refeed day, and I'll be making Sundays a refeed as well. That way I'll be carbed up for my Mon+Tues workouts as well as my Thurs+Fri workouts. :thumbsup: - I'll probably increase carbohydrate intake by 150-200g those days.
