I got a tattoo roughly drawn. It has my cousin's initials who passed. I thinking about getting it done on my chest. Take a look and tell me what you think.

Yea I was originally gonna get it on my arm. Still trying to decide which would look better. Half sleeve how much is that gonna set you back? When you got the final design for your post it up I would like to see.

prolly 1500 or soo. . .

i can see if i can get pics of the out line and put em up. but i duno if i can take them myself LOL ill wait till i see visit my girlfriend, ill make her take a pic.

i dont think a cross on thechest would look that good, on a shoulder blade, or on the tricep only IMO or the whole back but your back is a canvas, so pick wisely before you put something on there.

Just a thought and if you want some reference art.

That's a sick 1/2 sleeve man the tiger/dragon look premium. Does the dragon go onto your chest?

nah,

when the pics go up on the tattoo site, there are like 3 pics of it from all the angles. so ill copy and paste that here, when it goes up on there site.

i got a tribal tattoo on my forearm with some writing in the middle on that same are as that tatt, and i wanna tie it in somehow but im pretty sure it wont work, but i wanna go 3/4 sleeve.

i cant wait for the color.

i got a similar tatt, meaning wise i mean, looks different to that but im very happy with it. you wont regret it. i think it would look better on the arm though.

looks good man,.... shoulder or upper chest would look good. Actuallly I think it would turn out to make a great sleeve as well. After my cut in mid to late summer im gettin the dragon tat from the reign of fire movie down my left chest and arm,...... so good luck bro.

Meaningful tattoos are always great. But, it's obviously going to be redrawn since you said it was a rough idea right? Like symmetrical and whatnot? I'd also say to maybe switch the shape of the cross a little. Instead of all being straight lines, go with more of a unique design maybe....

Where at on the chest by the way?

I think it would look waay better without the initials on the cross, rather in it. Ya know like a real cross with initals and a date on it. Or put the initails and name below it. I just think the "e" on one side and "d" on the other makes it look crappy. If you put his whole name on it like a real tomb stone kinda cross i think that would look great. It would be like your carrying a graveyard of your loved ones in your skin.
I think its great to remember the ones you lose, ink is nice but the best way to remeber them is to learn from their mistakes be the best you can and live like they cant.

hahha

i figue it would be that much, it all depends on how long i sit for,

they charge 180 an hour because they are super good there, best on long island i believe. you get what you pay for and if its permanant i want something INSANE.

where on the island, my best friend lives there and I am visiting soon, need a good place to go when there as I want more ink and my friend wants a first piece :)

So I got my tattoo done. Its an interesting experience, not very painful has previously thought. Took about 1.5 hours so it was pretty quick and cheap to.

nice man!!!
really not that painful? how much it cost??? looks good!

the tattoo guy comes near my chest i feel like a bitch. this is what i have done so far since i last posted my pic.

8 hours worth of work total.

DAMMMM!!! Your tattoo is amazing. My tattoo cost 180. Getting it was painful, but not nearly as bad as people make it seem. It would hurt only when he was doing it. when he lifted the needle gun (not sure what its called) ever few seconds it stopped hurting.

yea its just a feeling of a burn really but certain spots where he did mine i was afraid if he went onto my chest i would bug out lol

but the collar bone was my favorite spot, you can feel the vibration all the way to the other collar bone, freaking awesome.

yea its still got some work that needs to be done maybe another 6-8 hours the whole dragon, and the whole tiger need to be colored in.

the room. huge mess

my girlfriend lives at my house when shes home from school so one side of the room is out of order till she leaves

but no excuses i never put things away haha

When I had my rib cage tattoo done I could feel my entire chest cavity vibrate. Was very cool.

When I was getting my back done I could feel tingling in my hands and legs depending on where he was working. Very weird.

Neck has been the most painful IMO.

crazyfool, nice tat. the japanese work looks solid. i've sat for about 14 hours total for all my tats. the worst spot was the shoulder cap near my collarbone. OUCH!

this is an old picture and kinda hard to see... i've had some more work done since then but no pix yet.

I have always wanted a tattoo but I am too indecisive about what I want and I am afraid that it won't turn out how I want it too.
