Who listens to Christian Rock?

I've got a bunch of good stuff from older WOW albums, but don't have much of anything new.

Anyone have any ideas for me?
 
circle of dust is the only one i listen to. the artist is "clay scott" who did some other work, just not as good IMO as back in his circle of dust days.

Underoath is SIC! but they are HARD! When the Sun Sleeps album owns.
I think Thousand Foot Kruch(or with a C) is, my friend likes them.
 
I like attaching electrodes to my nut sack and beat myself senseless with a knotted rope while listening to Christain Rock
 
I listen to an enormous amount of Christian rock.

You might want to check out Red (grammy winning), Kutless, Seventh Day Slumber, Santus Real, Swithfoot, Third Day, and Delirious, among others.

You might want to go to Pandora, and set up a station based on one of these bands - and see which others you like.

:head: Those are good ones. Jeremy Camp is another good one.
 
Im a fan of Skillet.. most of their stuff is very good. Saw em' live to with seether, 3DG and Breaking Ben... What about Pillar?

I don't know many other heavier Christian bands. I never got into that. I enjoy praise and worship music in my own time, but never enjoyed pumping iron to Christian rock.

I usually stick to guys like Chris Tomlin, Shane and Shane, David Crowder Band, etc.
 
Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, and Charlie Hall are about all the christian music I listen to. My dad is in christian radio, so growing up i went to all the industry conventions and met all the major artists. Got burned out on it for a long time, and I discovered classic rock, and never really went back.

Tomlin, Crowder and Hall, stand with some of the best music out there, and they put on great live shows too.
 
I've given up listening to Christian rock for the most part - too much cookie-cutter, stereotypical poorly written stuff out there now...
I will say that Skillet's first several albums were quite good, but their newer stuff the main singer's voice has died. They're a nice group of people though - I've met and hung out with them on several occasions.
Switchfoot's in the same boat - their earlier albums were great, but I wouldn't touch their new stuff with a ten-foot pole. Went surfing with them at Tamarack Cove...

Plum has some good stuff, and so does a less known group called Dead Poetic, but I don't even know if they're together any more.

Five Iron Frenzy's first album will also always hold a special place in my mp3 player.

jars of clay? IDK. i listen to Air one radio sometimes, i believe they broadcast nation wide.
 
Yeah, I kinda got the idea that it's intentions weren't as platonic as they might have been. I thought it was funny though, to be followed around by a hippo...

Jars of Clay does have some good stuff - I've worn out 2copies of their first album. "If I left the zoo" was another album I liked by them. A mellow band, but good when you're in that mood

yeah i actually remember that hippo too from SD zoo. Its real friendly its always in the water by the glass.
 
I used to listen to a lot of Shai-Hulud, Overcome, and some other hardcore bands that might fall under that genre..

Disciple is good. I've been hitting that up while lifting lately.

For something lighter...there's the Kyle Sherman Band. :)
Not marketed as christian, just as rock, but he's a worship leader out of Texas. Good positive stuff.
