2 DAYS ON RECREATE/PWFULL/AP-feeling like an alpha FE-MALE !!!

Gosh, what have I been missing, AWESOME TO SEE YOU ALL HERE PEOPLE, and a some NEW FACES TOO Invalid Link Removed, Poopy (a man with a deep appreciation for my youtube videos :icon_lol:, have to say the SKIING OSTRICH was by far my personal favourite :lol:),

Days with so many posts make me happy beyond belief Invalid Link Removed, TO EVERYONE HERE, YOU MAKE MY DAY :head:
I consider myself very privileged to have all your support :)

Borobulker, nice to have you back, yes Military press is by far the most irritating exercise when it comes to progress, used to think bench was the worst but I soon changed my mind. Nowdays I get excited if I up the Military by a couple of pounds, Progress is still Progress :D

ya I have been dosing reverse for a while as well... its funny, I literally LOL'd the first time I read the bottle and saw it said not to operate machinery within 2 hours of dosing.... boy was I in for a suprise when 2 caps sedated me like all hell!

:lol: good to know, I'll be starting Reverse next week, I'll keep in mind not to take it before doing Squat+Deads :icon_lol:
Interesting though, SirPLUS doesn't make me sedated (I take it before workouts), but it does improve sleep quality (I take it pre-bed as well, preferably with PwFULL, )

wow! that would be interesting!

I could only imagine her 123lbs frame taking in the 6 cap dose I at almost 200 was taking!!!! that would be some sick workouts for sure, shed probably start bumping chests with guys after sets and headbutting them!

Meee do that, naaaah Invalid Link Removed :lol:

I use RPM only on training days because I'm also using Hot-Rox, and the two together give me the wickedest migraines (AND because I was getting to where 5-6 caps was doing nothing like what 2 caps is doing right now)
That must be awful, I'll be following both yours and Irish's RESET logs, I'd like to start with it when I'm over with the current stack. Will need to lay off Recreate/RPM/Drive

Nice training again, interesting to see how well you respond to powerfull, too, its a great supp.
I was amazed by your stamina and endurance when you tran, you put me to shame...ive got work to do..btw was that the dragon from beowulf?

You must be kidding Russian :) You are THE ONE that is setting out new standards for intensity :head: :hammer:

Not sure if the dragon was from Beowulf, I just did a GOOGLE search

DAY 65

* Back and abs were really sore, DOOH !
Finally, I would have been EXTREMELY disappointed if they weren’t after the 2-day hammering frenzy Invalid Link Removed.

* Bis and tri’s were due to a workout but I REALLY felt like doing somethin’else…. GOOD MORNINGS :fool2:

* To make myself feel better I supersetted them with Overhead squats Invalid Link Removed Invalid Link Removed (well legs were due for a workout too :D).

With overheads I basically kept the same weight, VERY low, 55lb, because I was planning to go heavy on the Mornings and because I wanted mainly to practice perfect form on the Overheads (haven’t done them in awhile).

Because I needed some sort of a core warmup (and also, to trick the DOMSed muscles into thinking it was going to be an easy workout Invalid Link Removed) I decided to throw some dumbell deadlifts on a stability disc prior to Good Mornings.

* And so, the final triset was as follows:

1. Dumbbell deads on stability disc
2. Good Mornings
3. Overheads

1.2x11lb 10
2.88lb 10
3.55lb 8

1.2x18lb 10
2.116lb 8
3.55lb 6

1.2x22lb 8
2.132lb 8
3.55lb 6

1.2x22lb 10
2.143lb 8
3.55lb 6

1.2x22lb 10
2.152lb 8
3.55lb 6

1. 2x22lb 10
2.163lb 6 dropset to
….152lb 6
3. 55lb 6

* I literally felt like Invalid Link Removed my guts out here, this dropset of mornings caused Immediate Muscle Soreness
I think I FINALLY managed to destroy my back :woohoo: :head:

* Just to be sure though .... :icon_lol:

1. 2x22lb 10
2.158lb 6 dropset to
….143lb 6 dropset to
….132lb 6
3. 55lb 6

* I think if I had tried to do another set like that my back would have cracked in half !!! :eek:

* Finished the workout with Leg Curls supersetted with Dumbbell Jumping Squats. Hams were on fire after that and I limped out of the gym with a big :D on my face.

DAY66

* Either quads or bis and tris….quads of course (I’ll have to take care of my chicken arms eventually :o)

* There was no point supersetting deads and squats after pushing my limits yesterday with GM, I decided to do as much isolation stuff as I could possibly tolerate

* I started again with stability disc stuff, did several sets of sumo squats holding a 44lb dumbbell. It is quite tricky trying to balance on the disc at first but it really works out all the stabilizing muscles that don’t get used otherwise :thumbsup:

* Moved onto:

1. Leg Extensions

* 90lb 10
* 99lb 10
* 110lb 10
* 121lb 8
* 130lb 8 :confused:

* 140lb 3 :confused: :confused: dropset to
….130lb 3 dropset to
….121lb 3
… 99lb 6

* Quads were :aargh: after ^^^
Mainly because all intervals between sets were very short, less than a minute.
I was bored because there wasn’t enough “action” there Invalid Link Removed
(usually leg day starts with Dead+Squats) and so I wanted to get it over and done with ASAP

* 121lb 8 dropset to
….99lb 4 dropset to
….80lb 4

*130lb 3 dropset to
….110lb 3 dropset to
….90lb 6

Legs were Invalid Link Removed me for upping the weight again to 130lb

*130lb 6 dropset to
….110lb 5 dropset to
….90lb 5

* I can’t believe I’ve done 9 sets of leg extensions, I never do more than 5!!!
Also I’ve never moved 140lb before, 121lb was the upper limit for a very long time,
I WENT UP BY 19lb in an leg isolation exercise, I’d consider that weight to be a lot for a compound move!!!!:woohoo:

2. Squats supersetted with
3. Bench Press
(didn’t feel like doing JUST squats :D)

* Seriously, the whole workout I felt soooo Hyper Invalid Link Removed it wasn’t funny, I did not want to rest for a second Invalid Link Removed
I threw in the bench just for entertainment purposes, I was going 10lb below my PR weight (99lb)

2. 88lb 10
3. 73lb 10

2. 116lb 10
3. 83lb 10

2. 137.5lb 10
3. 88lb 10

2. 149lb 8
3. 88lb 10

2. 154lb 8
3. 88lb 10

* Squats were done light this time ‘cause back was in no state to support any more weight, hence I wasn’t even trying to break the current PR (165lb)

* This routine worked out quite well actually, quads were already sore, I usually do compound movements first and then isolation, I guess changing the routine did the trick :thumbsup:

4. Unilateral Leg Press

*110lb 8
*143lb 8 (can’t believe that feels light after all ^^)
*160lb 8
*170lb 8 :wtf: still going, when is PwFULL going to give me a break :lol:
*176lb 8 NEW PR, up by 16lb !!!! (I thought the quads were to dead for that !

So stoked Invalid Link Removed
Leg ext up by 19lb and Unilat leg press up by 16lb in a single workout, I should do isolation stuff more often...naaaaah
;)

*Have to say, RECOVERY HAS BEEN AMAZING OF LATE

First, I Invalid Link Removed BETTER THAN EVER IN MY LIFE , started taking PwFULL+SirPLUS pre-bed, I no longer need 8hrs to be fully functional because I'm getting good quality sleep

I upped my workout BCAAs and Glutamine, taking around 15-20g of each

Also taking 10g of beta alanine+10g Nimbus Swell, THIS STUFF KICKS A$$ !!!!!!!!!!!! Invalid Link Removed

Next week I’m adding P-slin and some carbs to this monster shake, I can’t wait !!!!! I find running out of fuel is THE ONLY THING that limits my workouts at the moment. And ya know, even a FERRARI will stop if it runs out of petrol ;) (and no I don’t consider myself as a FERRARI just yet, but I’m WORKING ON IT !!!! :) :duel::head:)

AAAH, almost forgot... ;)

I bet you burst into an evil laughter after those trisets, didn't you?! Your workouts are sooo insane! They look great. I like Day 66 especially.

Looks like I have an IOU. Great pics Dragonfly, your physique looks solid. Very impressive, firm & feminine. Im' going to have to say that third shot where you have that sinister, come-hither stare is a personal favorite. Good work!

That must be awful, I'll be following both yours and Irish's RESET logs, I'd like to start with it when I'm over with the current stack. Will need to lay off Recreate/RPM/Drive.

Not really; I didn't mind...Reset-AD log will be started 29 December, in time to start the new year off FRESH :)

HA!

I totally forgot about the ostrich vid, that was pretty awesome/funny to say the least.

so you dont just get itchy beyond tolerance from that much BA??? how much BA is in 10g of swell as well??

Those are some extremely heavy good mornings. I'm impressed. I'd probably look like a folding chair after that workout.

I only came in here to post that I was officially unsubscribing if there were no ridiculously hot new photos on display of dragonfly's mint physique. Looks like I am officially continuing my subscription.

:jaw::jaw::jaw: haaawt!

OH,NOOO !! I did it AGAIN, Aussie I'm impressed, I thought your jaw was dislocated from the last "black&white session" :rofl: Means I haven't done well enough Invalid Link Removed, have to keep trying I guess :lol: ... at least that will keep someone else's subscription to this thread (right Cub ? :stick: :p)

Not at all, in fact I never knew about that side effect until I read about it in Volcom's log.

Not sure how much BA is EXACTLY in SWELL. 10g of it contains 5850g of PE Release Matrix which consists of:
L-Leucine
BA
Citruline Malate
AAKG

I usually spend about 1.5hrs to workout and in that time I consume my workout drink. I certainly don't swallow 10+g of BA in one shot ! Invalid Link Removed

My sources inform me 1 serving of Swell contains 1g BA - I think

AGREED, that is my plan as well :smite:

:toofunny: I'm NOT impressed :icon_lol:, I had Immediate Muscle Soreness after that last set and I swear I could have not squeezed another rep, not even under a dead threat ...and now, two days after my back feels as good as new, something ain't right ! Invalid Link Removed
I so need a reason NOT to train my back too soon but I ain't got ANY !!!! Invalid Link Removed

I should know better than that, just because you don't hurt doesn't mean you've recuperated. Supercompensation takes more than 2 days.

You do know that Good Mornings are for your hamstrings, right? - If your back is too sore, you probably aren't doing them right.

Primarily for the hams yes but (and correct me if I’m wrong Irish), if you don’t engage your back you risk it collapsing and ending up “like a folding chair” in Timber’s words. I don’t really notice the back working much on lighter sets and I remember reading somewhere that it is more beneficial to go “light weight” high rep on the GMs, but I like doing a bit of both.

Yes, you're correct. I was sure you knew, but since you didn't mention your hams at all I just wanted to make sure.

Hell it’s been awhile I don’t even know where to start ….

First, thanks to everyone for keeping my thread alive in my “absence”, I had a great laugh reading all that :D

AWESOME to see Crader dropping by, I feel very honoured :)

And now, how about the long overdue:

DAY 68

Decided to begin with the Bench Press (regardless the fact that I had done it 2 days ago in a superset :fool2:), because I had a peculiar gut feeling about it Invalid Link Removed :lol:

1. Bench

*78.1lb 10
*88lb 8
*100lb 6 current PR, explosive reps, weird ? No, Told you I had a gut feeling ;)

*105lb 6/6/6 NEW PR, I’ve officially passed the 100 mark !!!! :woohoo:

* Can’t believe I pulled 3 WHOLE SETS with the new weight Invalid Link Removed, I had been stuck on 100 for weeks !!!!

*100lb 8
*100lb 3 dropset
….94lb 3

*94lb 3 dropset to
….83lb 3 this is getting worse, :lol:

*83lb 8

* After having hammered back for the entire past week with all possible exercises other than the deadlift and 3 days after doing Good Mornings, I decided to:

2.Deadlift +
3. Military Press

* I give up Invalid Link Removed, Deadlifting is an obsessive-compulsive disorder for me Invalid Link Removed

Wasn’t going to go heavy, I had my mind set on breaking the PR on the Military :smite: and the Dead was supposed to “trick” the mind that the Military was easy in comparison Invalid Link Removed

2. 88lb 8
3. 53lb 8

2. 110lb 6
3. 64lb 6

2. 132lb 5
3. 69.5lb 4 (failed 5) NEW PR !!!! IT WORKED !!! Invalid Link Removed

2. 143lb 5
3. 69.5lb 5

2. 149lb 5
3. 69.5lb 4 (failed 5 again, GRRR!)

2. 154lb 5/5
3. 69.5lb 5/4

* Drop weight on dead, raise the Military:

2. 132lb 6
3. 71.5lb 2 (failed 3, lol) I don’t want to call it a PR at only 2 reps

* I did a total of 5 sets with at a new PR weight of 69.5lb as opposed to last week’s 4 sets at 66lb (in a superset with B-over row, way less load than a deadlift- max was 110lb for 3 reps)

4. Dumbbell Jabs on a decline bench

Basically it is like doing crunches on a decline holding two dumbbells, except that when you crunch up you also throw in a couple of jabs, awesome stuff for abs and shoulders, you need to keep the arms parallel to the ground as you jab, if you are not able to, means you are using too much weight, jabs have to be explosive.

* 2x27lb 10/8/10 dropset to
…2x22lb 10/8/10

5. Front raises +
6. Lateral raises

On both trying to get as high above parallel as possible

5. 2*15.4lb 6/6/6
6. 2*11lb 6/6/6

* Shoulders were cooked after the Military and the Jabs so these numbers look real pathetic,
BUT WHO CARES, 2 hardest PRs were broken, BENCH AND MILITARY, BOTH ON THE SAME DAY!!!!

DAY 70 (YESTERDAY) SPECIAL REPORT:

I had one of the most intensive days in my life and it had nothing to do with exercise. Hence, my perspective that training-induced pain is somewhat pleasant, has been further reinforced. For the last week sleep had been reduced to ~6hr/day.

Day before yesterday I had only 5 :rant: and it wasn’t a good start for what was ahead.

I had breakfast at 7AM and lunch at 5:30PM.
In between, I was stuck in surgery room, and I wasn’t a patient. Worse, I was a surgeon with no prior experience and I had 23 patients that needed to get out of the surgery alive! I also needed to master how to use a 100 000USD ultrasound device that had never been used with mice before.Invalid Link Removed
Needles to say that unlike humans who are generally cooperative, my furry friends had no choice but to cooperate. I had two people to help me out. Team effort was tremendous, we worked nearly 10hrs straight with no break whatsoever.

At about 6hr mark I was ready to collapse down Invalid Link Removed, dehydrated, starving and exhausted Invalid Link Removed (almost felt like I needed matchsticks to keep my eyes opened), but stopping and having a break was NOT AN OPTION. The whole situation just forced me to get even quicker and more efficient in doing my tasks, so much that by the end of it I felt like a Invalid Link Removed who had been programmed to do ultrasound and surgery and running on DURACELL.

It is absolutely amazing what a person can make themselves do under POSITIVE pressure and stress. I must have done well because I got the “tick of approval” from the senior scientist, the same one who had been giving me trouble the week before. :woohoo:
I SOOOOO NEED TO Invalid Link Removed!!!!!!
