I realized only yesterday
why have my workouts been crap for the whole week (apart from cardio).
I’ve been having problems with
lower back stiffness, think my matrass is the culprit, gone too soft - ready to be dumped :dump:
I’ve been waking up every morning feeling like an 80- year old grumpy woman :rant: Back was so stiff
I couldn’t even bend down to touch my toes.
Worst thing is that the stiffness was so bad it would hardly go away with any amount of stretching and warmup

So when I did
my leg workout starting with the smith machine 4 days ago it felt more like a spine-crushing than a leg-crushing workout. Invalid Link Removed
Because of that,
I bailed out from doing powercleans&presses on DAY 51 :ntome:, and
instead I did LOTS and LOTS of core workout and stretching. I also tried to sleep on the floor the following night, desperate for a firmer surface…didn’t quite work :sad:
And morning DAY 52 I woke up irritated (back was still stiff) but determined I was going to WORK IT OUT !!!!!!!!! :aargh::aargh::aargh:
I hit the gym half an hour earlier and did some SERIOUS stretching and ab work. Felt reasonable so I decided to do :
1. Deads superset with
2. Squats
It is
the reverse of what I’ve done on DAY48, also, I did
regular squats in place of front squats ‘cause I can lift more that way. …. And to spice things up,
I did CHAINED DEADS, 11lb ON EACH SIDE :head:
1. 66lb + 22lb (chains) 10
2. 50lb 10
1. 94lb+22lb 8
2. 66lb 8
1. 110lb+22lb 8
2. 83lb 10
* Still warming up (need to give my “recovered” back an illusion that it is not going to be a hard session, :lol
