lol fk, never mind, just noticed banish is now out of stock which was also included in my orderIs this still gonna be available this week? I've got an order on hold whole week especially for this.. If it's gonna take a lot longer please let us know..
Yeah reallyI am curious if this is out this week as well as I have an order that I want to place but more importantly I really WANT to try this product!!!
I think he'll have some beta's up for sale next week. Your experiences will be invaluable! As per my original request long ago when you first mentioned this ....I would still love to beta test this for you...please.
I am also interested in this package but I would prefer it without the Gut Health. I would prefer it with NOxidant.DSADE when VM and JL are both availabe can you see if Nutra can do a package deal on all of the above including the Gut Health (all of the products are your with the exception of the Toco but I think PP would be cool with it)??? I would give it a shot for at least 3months on the whole stack to see if it can help. I have the type of thinning/shedding that is sounds like you have.....basically solid on the top but receeding hairline and overall kind of thin hair.
Mr.50
we will likely do a stack of NOxidant, Toco-8, Virile MAne, and Java Lustre.I am also interested in this package but I would prefer it without the Gut Health. I would prefer it with NOxidant.
when do you expect this stack to be available for salewe will likely do a stack of NOxidant, Toco-8, Virile MAne, and Java Lustre.
Keep your eyes peeled for another Gut Health deal...to celebrate nutra's anniversary.
I'm waiting to hear back from the PP guys on the Toco component.when do you expect this stack to be available for sale
as of 6am monday....none uploaded to Nutra yet![]()
I'll have to trade you out formore of that awesome coffee of yours.Git er up!!!!
On the watch out for the ingredients!Writeup just getting some last FAQ polishing. SHould either be up today or tomorrow.
I'l try to, at minimum, get the short writeup posted.
Yeah baby yeahOn the watch out for the ingredients!![]()
Overload.WTF is going on in here?![]()
Both the RKs and Procyanidins cause shifting back towards anagen phase. Minoxidil weakly inhibits catagen induction and slightly prolongs catagen indirectly.1. Which ingredient in here acts has the same MOA as Minoxidil?
We considered using an antiandrogen (which the research just couldn't justify at the moment) and Saw Palmetto (again, topically the evidence is shaky), but decided against it. The apparent paradoxical effect of the LCLT in scalp tissue (as opposed to the rest of the body, where evidence is pointing to both increase in density AND sensitivity of ARs) reduces the effects of androgens.2. Are any of these consider topical DHT blockers?
No. The carrier right now is proprietary, as this is also sort of a key to the effective transport of the ingredients just to, but not beyond, the follicle.3. Is the carrier for the ingredients included in this write up?
Spironolactone, perhaps...I would not use other treatments for the reasons stated in the writeup (either limited effectiveness or systemic side effects.)4. Would it be MORE effective combined w/ anything else (minoxidil, spirolactone, fluridil, etc), or better by itself?
It will be effective on it's own...the rest of the products are just ideal. Is virile mane likely to be effective for hair regrowth on it's own, or is the stack you suggest in the writeup going to be necessary? I am all for regaining some lost hair, but not if it's going to cost me in the neighborhood of 100 dollars a month, I don't like my hair that much.
Menthol (yes, we are using peppermint oil) triggers CGRP release from different types of nerve fibers via activation of a slightly different receptor type as well as shifting the action potential to trigger release at lower noxious stimulus (lower concentration required), though there is slight overlap. This will allow higher levels of IGF-1 over a longer period of time with less risk of depleting CGRP, thus causing a rapid DROP in IGF-1. We are shooting for a steady rise and elevated levels maintained over a greater period of time. The other properties are just a bonus, but were not used for that purpose. Tea Tree can go systemic too easily and is MUCH too potent in its anti-androgenic/estrogenic effects. Menthol is also a potent penetration enhancer through the stratum corneum.what form of menthol (hopefully not synthetic)? I assume you are aware peppermint oil has actually been shown to be anti-androgenic also? I believe through interference with the androgen receptor (on which note tea tree oil would also be a nice potential addition?). I only ask because you mention in response to one of the questions that you don't have any topical anti androgens.
This was actually very tricky. The key here was to limit water content of the carrier as much as possible. The first alternative was a high alcohol content carrier, but there was some serious side effects (mass irritatione, skin dryness, dermatitis, risk to eyes). Most of the development time in this product has been fine tuning a carrier that will limit oxidation of the polyphenols, optimize penetration without going too systemic, conditioning scalp and keeping it soft, and being able to transport to active compounds in.What is to stop the rooibos from oxidising (as anti-oxidants love to do) while in solution? I have seen a lot of promise from research on the use of topical ECGC (green tea extract specifically i believe) yet the problem is the solution doesn't stay viable for long.
Sorry I didn't have a chance to get back to you about your PM..you were right on target pretty much. The RK's, AP's, emu oil and LC LT are awesome to have in one product, the rest is icing on the cake for me. Thanks for the quick write up and I'll definately be among the first in line to give this stuff a go.
Just a side note adding my opinions - anyone on minox that drops it for this might be in for a rough ride for a couple of months. Minox dependant hairs will shed when you stop and even this stuff is unlikely to be able to stop that (the only thing in there that could theoretically is the RK's but i've yet to see evidence of anything that actually will)... they may well grow back just as thick with the help of virile mane but it would unlikely be quick enough to counter the shedding. It might be wise to figure out some sort of phasing in/out process.
CGRP is a finite peptide that can easily be depleted before it can be resynthesized. Steady release of CGRP equates to a steady rise in IGF-1 levels. Too much release would cause CGRP to be depleted, and IGF-1 levels to collapse.Perhaps the full write it up will shine some light on the question, but could you please elaborate just a bit on why too high of a concentration of RKs could be negative?
As the full writeup (complete with quite dramatic pictures from the studies cited) show, growth is on the FULL landscape of the head, not just the crown area.DSADE,
We have talked about this before but I want to be clear....will this be very effective for those of us with a receeding hairline and generalized thin hair strands without much balding on the top of the head? I was always looking at trying Rogaine but supposedly it only works for balding on the top of the head?
Also does VM need to be combined with the shampoo you were also planning on coming out with? Is it out yet and what is the name?
Thanks.
Mr.50
Nutraplanet should be holding a presale this week, with product availability looking like NEXT week.what website do i order it from?
As the full writeup (complete with quite dramatic pictures from the studies cited) show, growth is on the FULL landscape of the head, not just the crown area.
VM doesn't NEED to be combined with the shampoo, but we were asked to develop a full range regimen to optimize the different approaches. I snuck something into the shampoo that is kind of cool, and we are waiting on feedback for that. It has to do with melanin deposition in the newly formed hairs, thus giving the appearance of thicker hair faster.
Awaiting the final supplies ( a thickener) for this one, as well as the lids (for some reason they sent the bottles and lids separately.)Much appreciate for the response. Sorry I missed the bit in the write up about "the whole head not just the crowne".
Approximately when might the shampoo be available too?
Thanks.
Mr.50
So minoxidil would just be repetitive? Or would it "deepen" the effect, like say starting w/ rogaine foam, and then putting VM on.
