In his Prime and his Prime is in him...

Just thought i'd tag this onto your Prime log as you mention your son looking as fresh as a daisy post-workout, but:

I noticed today that during each i was obviously pushing and felt like i was gonna die etc. But as soon as i put down the weight my heart rate and breathing seemed completely normal, as if i hadnt even started working out yet. Perhaps you could keep an eye out for this?

Ok, will do we are doing squats tommorow so I will watch him closely.

Saturday's workout was good, he was doing 8's for the same weight he was doing 5's for last week. No problems so there will be significant increases next week. Don't read too much into this as this is how this routine is planned. I am enthused at the ease he did the lifts but he was very tired. Tuesday will be a big test. If he continues to handle the increases with relative ease then I would have to say that is a real sign. Any difficulty encountered at this point would be the cause for some concern. This week is a big landmark in the effectiveness of this product. It has showed a lot of promise and does have it's benefits that has already been proven. Is it was it says it is that's what's on the line this week. We obviously have a responder here, lets see what Prime is made of.

His size increases have been very good and he is definitely getting slightly leaner. His back is really freakin wide as are his shoulders. This is a big man... I have also noticed quite a bit in the arms as well.

For me being around your age, I'll be more interested in seeing how Prime works for you. From all that I've read it appears that Prime works if you work, That's all you can ask from a product. I also think it very cool that you and your son have a common interest. My two sons didn't follow me in the weight training area as I would have liked but my older son and I share musical interest and my younger son and I share other things, so, it's cool.
Great Log.

Seems your son is doing a great job...
What kind of feedback is he giving you? since he does not know what he is taking..

He knows very little to nothing about Prime, he just knows what it does for him. He does not have a lot of interest in the supplement world he just wanted to try it when I bought it. I guess he does have some expectations... I have kept him a bit in the dark on purpose but it isn't very hard.

He just says he feels good and can feel it working. I can see that there are strength benefits and I also see increased motivation and superior technique. I know he's finding the weight lighter and his form is impeccable. I really see that he is feeling good and his mood is very good, I only see positive agression. I believe if it increased his test we would be seeing some negative agression as well as I believe him to already be very high even for his age. Bottom line is he really likes it, he's a guy of few words but I have heard him praise the product several times.

Tonights a big night, his recovery and strength will be put to the test. A lot of what we think about the product will be based on tonights performance. Will it continue to benefit or will it plateau. Stay tuned...

It's all good, doesn't matter what it is as long as your sharing. Nothing better...

I look forward to your feedback.

I'm just starting my second week and i noticed this as well. It's gotta be the recovery element to prime i would think??? I'm not very knowledgable in this degree, perhaps some1 could elaborate as to why that is.
It's actually a good feelling none the less, like you have superman recovery so to speak.

Ok, last night did go well, he hit all the targets with relative ease. I will be honest with you, I was hoping he would push the weight up over 400 on squats but he is still being cautious with his back and I have to support that. You can feel the untapped power though. He was up 20 lbs on his squats for 3 sets of 5 and he finished off with 8 and 12 there was some really nice ball breakers in there too (really nice depth). He was up 10 lbs on the bench for he same rep ranges. 10 up on military and way up on TBARs. On Tbars we entered a little competition to see who could do the most with 4 and a half plates (I have an exceptional back) and it was a dead heat at 12, this showed me that he had been taking it a little easy before but I think his legs were probably a little shaky from the squats. If you ever did Tbars after squats before then you know what I'm talking about.

My assessment is that his progress is steady and I can really see a lot of mass increase in his shoulders and back and he is quite a bit leaner. Oh he weighed in at 256 the other day so he's up a pound but quite a bit leaner. I will say that I did expect more of an explosion in the squat department but when I asked him about it he said he was still being careful. So we will have to continue to monitor his progress, things continue to look good but I was hoping for something more decisive. I remain about 75% convinced of the effects of prime. 75% is good but I am still hoping for more.

He is doing all his lifts raw right now, I don't believe in equipment untill your doing singles or doubles. I may have to get him some if he decides to cut loose and go real heavy.

good to hear hows he feeling 2day !?!

GEEZ it doesn't matter what I throw at him it doesn't seem to bother him.

Ok yesterday I said I was still a little on the fence about Prime but after seeing what I saw last night I am a true believer. I am totall convinced now that this stuff is the real deal. I know that the marketing on this product was very agressive but it seems to deliver exactly what it says.

Ok this is what synched it for me, I know he has been gaining mass and getting his strength back at steady pace (much more quickly with the use of Prime I believe), but last night he did a Crab most muscular pose and it absolutely shocked me. I don't think I've ever seen this much muscle on him. He displayed big hard development in his upper body. I know that it's not fair to use different poses in after pics but I will be throwing in one of these. Serious mass I'm telling you. Less than 3 weeks in and showing this kind of development, sorry nay sayers but your wrong about this product. I don't know why it works but it does.

I want to take this opportunity to both congratulate and thank USPLabs for putting out another fine product perhaps there best yet.

That is really good ! Congrats to your son happy it worked so good .. i bet u knt wait to start huh !?!

i gotta order another bottle myself i only have till the end of this week i believe .. Prime didnt effect me like it is effecting your son but i made alil extra cash this week so i said w.e i get a bottle even tho 55 is wayyyyyy overpriced ..

For me prime gave me alil extra push in the gym i broke a lot of PR's on it but i still didnt seem to put on weight but im gonna give it another try cuz i can see that if i just scarf down a few more cals this shits gonna hit me .. like i said tho no real changes in my appearance at all .. i might also stack prime with sum massfx/hyperdrol this time or maybe prime stocked and neovar ..

what are your thoughts should i order another bottle of prime now and run it back to back i should be able to get it by monday OR run the neovar that i have at home allready and save more money and run the prime massfx/hyperdrol or prime stocked and neo ..

I would go with another bottle and as many calories as you can pack in. There are several factors, you are extremely active and young and your not an endo, plus I think Prime requires a lot of calories for mass gain particularly in your situation. Anyone who has gone on a heavy bulk with it has gained lots of good quality weight. Endo's who use it to recomp gain mass but not a lot of weight. Lots of calories seem to be the key for someone in your situation.

That is my plan on my 2nd 30days of Prime. More food, less reps with more weight...

That's some good news!

That's some good news!

Yah I was a bit on the fence for a bit there but not anymore, very good news cuz I have 6 bottles for myself and yah it is getting hard not to get started but I want my shoulder to be in the best shape possible before I start. I will only wait so long though.

Nice workout last night with a couple more observations. First of all, lifts all increased signicantly and I have mixed feelings about him passing me on some of the lifts I used to be superior in lol. I still have better arm strength but I don't think he was pushing his limits on some of the heavier sets. This is where the observation comes in.

It seems that there is a lot more potential for increase in lifts than he could conceive. When he decided to really push in the latter part of the arm workout we were both surprised he could finish the sets at as high a weight as he decided to use. It seems despite how heavy the weight feels that the boundries of what he would normally be capable of were pushed back somehow, it's hard to explain but I will attempt it.

We get a pattern in our mind of how much we are capable of lifting based on how heavy the weight feels to us. When were lifting we generally know how many reps we have left based on how we feel. I think everybody should know what I am talking about. This seems to be altered somehow on Prime it seems there is more in the tank than our minds are telling us. It's more than an increase in strength. It seems that we can do more than we think we can based on past experience. Normally when I have a strength increase I can feel it and my mind tells me I can do it. This seems different.

I understand what you're getting at, recently i put a heavier weight than i usually would do on my flat bench press. I just about squeezed out 10 reps which i was extremely happy with.

But as i had done 10 reps i upped the weight again. 10 full reps AGAIN. I couldnt beleive it. I upped the weight again and managed 8 reps.

To say i was chuffed would be an understatement.

Yah like the boudries of what we can do need to be reestablished in our minds.

just dont tell your son how much weight is on the bar make lyk it was the same as last week and i bet you he will get it done !

Yah just might work... lol

Maybe not necessary though he's really starting to push and still not finding the ceiling. On Saturday he decided to jump up to 405 on squats for 5 reps (raw). He crushed it and were looking for more of the same on Tuesday. Very impressive. We found his knee wraps and will need to get him a new belt cuz he will be up above 500 soon and we may see a 600 lb squat before were done. I can't believe he is coming back so fast and with tremendous recomp effect and some nice muscle gain.

damn this all sounds so awesome! Any new pics?

Yes there will be new pics in about a week or so and you are going to see some differences. Remember he has not even been on this stuff for 4 weeks yet at the end of 5 weeks we'll do some pics then he'll take a week off (but continue to take Prime) then back again for 5 weeks after which there will be more pics. It's in this second 5 weeks I predict we will see some 600 lb squats.

I ordered him a Inzer belt and dug out his knee wraps, this will enable him to do some low rep really heavy weight. Like I said he's been lifting raw. I really don't believe in equipment for bodybuilding as not using a belt ast really good effect on your core and it is also true for powerlifters, but when your doing a lot of weight (singles or doubles) it's best to be safe. Equipment will also enable you to increase the weight somewhat. He will not be using a suit but the belt and wraps will increase his squat significantly. From what I can see now 600 should not be a problem which is a PR for him as he has not been able to lift since he was 18 or so.

I can't believe he has come this far in just 10 weeks, it's freaky really. Here he was at the end of July, out of shape and getting his hips aligned, hadn't lifted for over a year and now he's weeks away from a personal best squat. One more thing though about he pics, don't expect to see a bodybuilders physique, he is all power and you'll see him leaner and bigger but not cut, as he will never be that body type but you will see a beast.

Lookn forward to it man!

Well some really good news and some not so good news with last nights workout. Lets start with the good.

His bench went up 10 lbs again for a total of 30 lbs. It was quite inspiring we don't really so very well on bench usually (not our lift we both have long arms) but he went up 5 lbs and squeezed out his 5 reps. I thought he would have trouble with the next set but on the 5th rep he displayed a lot of power and I was really surprised I actually said "where did that come from". I was pretty surprised when he added another 5 lbs and thought no way but he cranked all 5. Very good day.

The not so good news is he could not go up on squats as his back was feeling tight. I noticed right away he was not getting his depth and told him to back off after the second set of 5 and just work on form. In the second set he did get his depth on a couple of reps but I could see him struggling and new it wasn't there. Better safe than sorry, he went down to do 8's and I still was not completely satisfied with his depth. I told him to not do Tbars with a stiff back (I suspect this caused the problem on saturday as I had similar problems, we went to heavy).

His belt should be in today or tommorow, I will only let him use it if he decides to go really heavy.

Damn you guys sound like an awesome team! Keep up the good work!

Yah it's good to get a second pair of eyes when lifting heavy, I think most of the time you know if your lifting with good form... well almost all of the time, but it's good to have someone point out what your doing wrong or to make corrections, or just say to them time to back off. Sometimes the alpha male in you makes you stupid. I can relate as that's pretty much what happened with my injured shoulder.

His belt came in yesterday, that was fast delivery, inzer is a top notch company with excellent customer service. I got the lever belt it's really easy to get in and out of and tighten.

30lb increase: Very well done! Wait for just a moment, though, would that not mean your Son is approaching label expectations?

USPLabs Prime:

4.29 lbs increase in body weight
6.37 lbs increase in lean body mass
2.08 lbs decrease in fat mass
40.83 lbs increase in bench press strength (3 RM)
54.58 lbs increase in squat strength (3 RM)

What a state of completely and totally unexpected irony! PRIME does what we claimed it would! Who would have thought? ;)

Well last night's workout went very well, he is stronger at leg curl than I have ever seen him. He continues to make progress on the arm exercises but I still hold an edge in the arm department. I guess it takes time, my arms are probably over 20" so they hold some power.

He did another Crab pose for us last night and I have to say crazy size and thickness. I can't wait to put a pic of that shot he looks inhuman.

Back continues to give him trouble and with his history, it could mean he might have to back off. We will see what happens on Saturday; he may not do lower body at all. He has an appointment with the chiro on Tuesday so we will see what she says. I am hoping he just wrenched it a bit like I did on the Tbar rows. I know he is a bit paranoid as he's been in quite a bit of pain over this before. The chiro gave him the green light though so I am somewhat hopefull.

Still following the progress report. I start my PCT from Epistane on Monday and Prime will be a huge player during PCT. How sweet will it be if I continue to gain during PCT? Based on this and other Prime logs it sounds very possible.

Yah I would say probable...

Pics coming this upcoming week? Can't wait to see this, should be quite impressive. Great log DW, it's awesome you're training him too :whip:

Yes guys pics will be up this week, I am thinking maybe Wednesday or Thursday. This may be the end of the log too as if his back is bad enough he's going to cut it short and go back to Ottawa. It's been a good run though. I have to say we have accomplished what we set out to do. His back I think is not too bad but if he can't do heavy squat there is no sense in continuing as he was going back in November anyway. A lot depends on what he chiro says tommorow.

Some new developments he had a good workout on chest and Saturday, it's a high rep day but his strength was very good. One thing I really noticed is he seems to have taken off about 5 lbs of fat in the last few weeks, his weigh in is going to be interesting. Tuesday he will try and go up another 10 lbs on bench for a total of 40 lbs, now I will ask you who loses weight, gains muscle and puts 40 lbs on their bench and 4 on their squat in less than 5 weeks and he would have put 60-80 on his squat if it weren't for his back. I have never seen the likes of it.

Posted a couple of after pics, they show a great deal of size gain and weight loss. He actually lost about 5 lbs and you can see he is bigger too.

Well he did it another 10 lbs on bench for a total of 40 lbs increase for 5 reps. Simply amazing. He did the first set all 5 reps then the second he only got 4 but then he upped it another 20 lbs and did a single, he almost got the double but he was tired. He finished off with a 8 and 12 which was good.

He is being cautious and did not do squats so he only put 40 on his squats, he would have easily doubled that if he wasn't injured. The chiro told him to take it easy and that's just the smart thing to do.

His weight was 249 which I believe was 6 lbs less than his starting weight and like I said he is much bigger as well.

So the results speak for themselves he lost 6 lbs, put on 5 or 6 lbs of muscle by the looks of it and his bench went up 40 lbs. Could have been a plecebo though.

He looks a bit slimmer. Traps a bit bigger. Id be easier if I could look at the before/after side by side tho. Nice work with the boy!

Yah maybe the pics don't show it as much but there is a big difference in his body comp. The chiro was pretty shocked at the difference as she saw him a month ago and then yesterday.
