McCain's Speech

I'll answer these as I get to them and not in any specific order:

What does Hollywood have to do with technological advances? I get the feeling you completely missed the point. Cell phones, GPS, jet airliners, computers, etc. all came about due to military research.

I have never heard anyone say the most of the things we enjoy today come from church.

The NBA has virtually nothing to do with the U.S. economy.

"Clinton was the most adorable U.S. President in past quarter of a century" WTF do you base that on? I spent quite a bit of time overseas during the Clinton years and he was an international joke.

Why did the attacks happen? Many of the seeds of hatred were sown during the creation of the Israeli state which was pushed by the Europeans more than the U.S. Yes, we have lent them our support and rightfully so in my opinion. The Russian invasion of Afghanistan was also a major influence in the socio-economic situation in which the hatred grows. The U.S. support of the Afghani insurgency during said Russian occupation and our subsequant withdrawal of that support after the Russians left allowed the Taliban to spread. Osama himself was angered when he was not allowed to recruit his own army to expel Hussein from Kuwait. Instead, nearly every middle eastern nation supported the coalition.

I'm sure the argument will be made that we had no business intervening in the middle east in the first place. All I'll say to that is look at the impact on the economy that unstable oil prices have had, both in the 70's and today. Who's to blame for our dependance on oil.....we all are.

That's pretty much all I've got to say in this thread. After reading your responses to what others have posted, you are not going to change my mind. I respect the fact that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I truly believe you are naive when it comes to international relations and foreign policy.

you do realize that at the inception of our country the French helped us? My point being, we have been in the globocop role as you said for almost 100 years, and we are starting to feel the effects of it in a negative way.

Yes france helped us, but the sacrifice they made, is a drop in the bucket compared to what the US gave in WW2. I don't think we are feeling the effects of the globocop role, I just think theres no Soviet Union to force everyone to cling to the US.

Now, you talk about all the tyrants, however Saddam and Hitler are the only ones we truly got physical with. <Sorry, the effort to find Osama has been quite lax, as our own President has said several times "I dont care where Osama is". > So how can you talk about Mao and Stalin when we really just took a wait and see approach with Crazy Uncle Joe, and then actually ended up having a halfway decent relationship with Mao later in his life after he calmed down a bit.

I'll concede Osama, but Mao was confronted in Korea. Wait and see with Stalin, was really the US protecting the world from communism by stockpiling nukes and flexing. We confronted and put US lives on the line in both instances.

What I never understood was our rationale for going after someone like Sadaam. (Hitler was a separate entity all together) Sadaam, from most intelligence reports was of no imminent danger, and there were far worse dictators on the planet. Made no sense to me in 2003 and doesnt now.

I agree with you. I actually like Saddam in power in the Middle East simply because with him there, the other countries actually need the US for their own protection. I think thats why our middle eastern relations have gone downhill since the invasion.

I'd say theres a direct correlation between "international goodwill" and a neighbor who wants to kick your azz that the US can protect you from.

Huh! So you dont only misquote me, but upon saying that I NEVER USED CLINTON AND SAFERY IN THE SAME SENTENCE, you have problems accepting that as well.

Please explain to me what "good will" is then.

Sure! what else to expect from a typical Red party fan.

Ah yes, the generalizations come out instead of the facts.

Do you whine this much in person?

lol...It seems you either have little clue as to what your insinuations are or are just cynical in life. Anyway, I guess I have given you enough chance to substantiate your knowledge(or lack thereof). Thanks for coming across as dumb

You are making this too easy. Either do some research on the subject that you pretend to know about, or just admit that you're wrong once again. We all know it, its ok....I won't gloat that much. Its not a crime to be an idiot.

:toofunny:

Yes I am going after your half-baked claim. BUT NOT BEFORE I GIVE YOU ENOUGH CHANCES TO EXPLAIN YOURSELF. This is the 4th time I have extended you the courtsey. If you dont have enough knowledge to support your views why are you getting mad at me, do yourself some favour and develop some meat in your arguments here on.

Mad? I'm laughing as well as everyone else is if you haven't noticed :)

As mentioned in the very first post(which you obviously did NOT understand) - And the other 8 years that Democrats were in power, United States was actually rolling in budget surplus and goodwill around the world??

Please explain what you mean by good will? Mowing my neighbors lawn?

You obviously don't know what you are talking about in terms of a surplus or where it comes from. I think 3 people have told you already but you continue to play dumb...very well.

Prove me wrong on either of the argument.

What argument? In all honesty, are you drunk?

rest all rant, rant, rant. Dismissed and thrown in the garbage.

:toofunny:

Do you cover your ears and shout it from the rooftops?

not trying to compare the 2, but without either one, the other country would have ceased to exist

I'll concede Osama, but Mao was confronted in Korea. Wait and see with Stalin, was really the US protecting the world from communism by stockpiling nukes and flexing. We confronted and put US lives on the line in both instances.
it was all about the red fear. I always laugh when I think about it honestly. My family is from Europe (I am first generation) and they said how silly they felt the americans were over that. In terms of wait and see with Joe, the US did not want to intitiate nor get physically involved. There is a good chance the results would have been far worse for the US

I agree with you. I actually like Saddam in power in the Middle East simply because with him there, the other countries actually need the US for their own protection. I think thats why our middle eastern relations have gone downhill since the invasion.
I also think in an odd way he brought stability to that region that kept others more straightened out. It was like Bush 41 said in his memoirs, "taking Sadaam out would be disastrous and the completely wrong thing to do"

I'd say theres a direct correlation between "international goodwill" and a neighbor who wants to kick your azz that the US can protect you from.
I agree, most nations want us when they need us. However, I think with the domestic and economic issues we face, we might not have any other choice but to change policy. Hell, we dont have 10bil a month for this war that was wrong when it started.

At the end of the day I am holding my own against people who beleive "rest of the world are bastards".
And the chip on the shoulder has been revealed! Jealousy is a *****!

At least I have been civil to everyone here...and more ignorant than some of you put together.

:nutkick:

Fixed.

Obama was admittedly smokin' joints the same time McCain was getting tortured for our country. Wow... that tells you something.

Obama was admittedly smokin' joints the same time McCain was getting tortured for our country. Wow... that tells you something.
really? what?

that McCain sadly suffered a tremendous amount. No doubt about it, or that Obama was a typical college aged kid.

You tell me?

you do realize that at the inception of our country the French helped us?

Yes and United States has repaid that "help" many times over with finance, infrastructure help..and most importantly real life. So I see no reason why France needs help time and again, that when they choose to rub it USA's face every now and then. Do you disagree with that?

My point being, we have been in the globocop role as you said for almost 100 years, and we are starting to feel the effects of it in a negative way.

Fair enough, although I would disagree with 100 years timeline. Before WWII, Britain was still the world's most formidable power and even after US was not really Supercop. It was more World's Superpower alongside Soviet Union and cold war ensued. I agree with your premise but I disagree with that time line.

Now, you talk about all the tyrants, however Saddam and Hitler are the only ones we truly got physical with.

Not really.

Take for example Pakistan. United States has always been in bed with the Pakistani Dictators, right from General Ayub Khan to General Zia Ul Haq to modern day Musharraf. This has effectively killed democracy there and more importantly ensured military dictator get legitimacy. Thats just one example of course.

<Sorry, the effort to find Osama has been quite lax, as our own President has said several times "I dont care where Osama is". >

Fair enough. No disagreement here.

So how can you talk about Mao and Stalin when we really just took a wait and see approach with Crazy Uncle Joe, and then actually ended up having a halfway decent relationship with Mao later in his life after he calmed down a bit.

Because again this is a classic case of USA not learning from its history.

Lets see the chronolgy here:

a) US and Soviet Union embark on Cold War circa post WWII.
b) US tried to encircle Soviet Union on all sides.
c) As part of Enemies-enemy-is-my-friend USA props up China heavily with support in Arms, Finance and Technology.
d) At the same time China keeps yapping about Taiwan but that doesnt stop USA to engage China.
e) Soviet Union collapses and USA still keeps supporting China.
f) By late 90s Balance of trade is heavily in China's favour and now roles are reversed. Still USA doesnt learn.
g) Today China has as much control over USA economy as the latter has over the former.

Do you see why I say USA didnt learn?

What I never understood was our rationale for going after someone like Sadaam. (Hitler was a separate entity all together) Sadaam, from most intelligence reports was of no imminent danger, and there were far worse dictators on the planet. Made no sense to me in 2003 and doesnt now.

Rather simple. Blame it on Bush.

Here are facts:

Saddam Hussain was a Dictator.

Saddam Hussain was supported by USA during the tension years that USA had with Iran.

Saddam Hussain was one SECULAR leader in Middle East. Al-Qaeda was its sworn enemy and there is noone Osama hated more.

xxx

Please explain to me what "good will" is then.

Goodwill is rather simple to define. To me it means that a person in Asia, Africa wherever looks upto United States and respects what it stands for. A country that in many ways is the ideal place to be in the world. A country that has law and order, self-sufficiency, tolerance for everyone. It is world's superme economic and military power but doesnt keep rubbing in everyone's face. Like a former US President(Roosevelt?) said - Talk softly and keep a big stick. Unfortunately what modern day Americans tend to do is just the other way around...and this includes the President.

Hope that clarifies now.

You are making this too easy. Either do some research on the subject that you pretend to know about, or just admit that you're wrong once again. We all know it, its ok....I won't gloat that much. Its not a crime to be an idiot.

Read my response to others. Anyone who has spent time raising valid points have been replied. I am not gonna waste my time on the likes of you who is simply a bag of hot air. If you have a point we shall discuss, if you dont then I will let you dig your own sorry grave, as you continue to do.

Please explain what you mean by good will? Mowing my neighbors lawn?

Answered above Smart Alec.

Now come back when you have specifics. I shall be right here :duel:

I also think in an odd way he brought stability to that region that kept others more straightened out. It was like Bush 41 said in his memoirs, "taking Sadaam out would be disastrous and the completely wrong thing to do"

And I can see exactly where Bush Sr came from.

Removing Saddam would do nothing for USA. If anything it would remove the power struggle between Iran-Iraq, a struggle that USA kinda wanted in the region since Iran was always anti-US. Iraq was also the strongest opponent of Al-Qaeda simply because Iraq is the country with a sizeable Shia-Sunni population unlike say Iran(Shia), Saudi Arabia(Sunny). Al-Qaeda being a strong Sunni outfit hated Saddam and wanted it to be made a Sunni styled nation like Saudi Arabia.

Of course modern day Republicans forget all that.

I agree, most nations want us when they need us. However, I think with the domestic and economic issues we face, we might not have any other choice but to change policy. Hell, we dont have 10bil a month for this war that was wrong when it started.

Why wont they? Take Pakistan for example. It has taken billions over last 10 years. What has it delivered? Osama? NO. Mullah Omar? NO. Zawahiri? NO. They dont deliver because they know they can get away with it. They will come to US when they need money, arms etc. Moment their interest is served they are gone, letting US pick the pieces.

Goodwill is rather simple to define. To me it means that a person in Asia, Africa wherever looks upto United States and respects what it stands for.

Most still do. If they don't, I'm not losing sleep over it.

A country that in many ways is the ideal place to be in the world.
Still is or immigration wouldn't be a problem.

A country that has law and order, self-sufficiency, tolerance for everyone.

Still does.

It is world's superme economic and military power but doesnt keep rubbing in everyone's face.

It still is. As for rubbing it in everyone face....some say its about time.

Like a former US President(Roosevelt?) said - Talk softly and keep a big stick.
Ask descendant's of Pearl Harbor is that worked.

Unfortunately what modern day Americans tend to do is just the other way around...and this includes the President.
Yes we know. Europe and the rest of the world are extremely sensitive. We surely don't want to upset their delicate feelings.

You are the biggest bag of stale wind here.

You didn't know what your talking about when it comes to the Clinton administration. You didn't know what you were talking about in terms of economic policies and show a complete lack of understanding of what happens to a surplus/deficit here in the US. You didn't know what you were talking about with the industrialization of Japan and you still fail to see that we can't do a thing about China actually migrating form and agrarian society to and industrial one. You are naive and idealistic. Plain and simple. Other than that, you "held your own"

I shall be right here :duel:

I sure hope so. I need entertainment while I work on the board.

Do you really find this guy entertaining? I like debating when its about theories and concepts based upon objective facts.

This guy reminds me of debating my fat little college cousin. If I say something she can't refute, change the subject.

My favorite line from her:

"Me and my roommates reused a Cold Creek Creamery buy one get one free gift certificate for an entire semester....I must have been there four times a week."

*not 3 minutes later*

"A lot of research says that Splenda is totally not healthy.....I'd stay away from it."

Most still do. If they don't, I'm not losing sleep over it.

Yes and they are losing sleep over you not losing sleep. Hilarious!!!

Read up this thread when you have time. You have posters suggesting USA is most disliked(and hence most attacked) country by definition in the world. So make up your mind as to how most people have a goodwill or not.

Still is or immigration wouldn't be a problem.

Problem from where? Mexico? Thats illegal immigration my friend. If legal immigration was an issue you wont have tons of "Specialized" immigration a la H1B to bring "qualified" people in. Please do your homework on this.

By the way I find it hilarious that a country that promotes itself as "land of immigrants" has its citizens howling about immigration!!!

Yes we know. Europe and the rest of the world are extremely sensitive. We surely don't want to upset their delicate feelings.

Hahahaha..You asked for Goodwill definition, I gave it and see where it has landed you. A loather of the world.:think: I think you need a shrink mate.

You didn't know what your talking about when it comes to the Clinton administration. You didn't know what you were talking about in terms of economic policies and show a complete lack of understanding of what happens to a surplus/deficit here in the US.

So how is that answer to my question coming along ace?? Still no answer. Well others who have some knowledge received theirs, you Sir are a complete clueless piece of work and so you can keep ranting.:lol:

You didn't know what you were talking about with the industrialization of Japan

Explained already. Not my mistake if you lack comprehension skills.

and you still fail to see that we can't do a thing about China actually migrating form and agrarian society to and industrial one.

And you fail to see that if you dont have same rules in 2 countries, one will make products cheaper. In this case its China, and Americans are losing jobs over it. Please feel free to listen to McCain when he says he wants to bring job back.

And please step off that hot bag please. Get some substance in your arguments this time.

xxx

really? what?
No doubt about it, or that Obama was a typical college aged kid.

Wait, are you telling me that your making an excuse for Obama!!! We don't need a "typical kid" to hold the most important job in the world that affects all of our lives. And as for the "really? what?" part, it's no wonder you didn't hear... I suppose the left wing media has done a good job of hiding that little tid-bit of info.

Obama was admittedly smokin' joints the same time McCain was getting tortured for our country. Wow... that tells you something.

I actually dug more into this and was horrified to find either you are completely misinformed or you choose to misrepresent facts.

Here is the truth:

a) McCain was a POW between 1967 to 1973, about a period of 6 years or so.

Invalid Link Removed

b) Barack Obama was born in 1961.

Invalid Link Removed

So I suppose you are suggesting Barack Obama was smoking a joint when he was as young as 6 years and as old as 12!!!

Wow that is some serious misinformation my friend.

By the way John McCain doesnt need this kind of misinformation, his service record is enough to impress his worst critics.

So wait... you're justifying it now!! The whole point of that was not the time it happened bud, it was the fact that he did it. Does it offend you liberal? I'm sorry, I'll reword it for you. "Barrack Obama was admittedly smoking joints, and McCain was tortured for our country." In fact, Obama said "I inhaled frequently." Geez!! And you're right, McCain does impress... so who are you voting for???

Huh?? Are you confused or what?

This is what you wrote, and I quote(your exact words) - Obama was admittedly smokin' joints the same time McCain was getting tortured for our country. I have shown you exactly how your statement is completely wrong factually.

Instead of accepting that yes you could have been wrong you choose to get all belligerent. Thats so typical. Of course this essentially means you are a witness who has a little credibility in a case of law so better luck next time ace!!

In fact, Obama said "I inhaled frequently." Geez!!

Personally I wouldnt care. Just as I didnt care about George Bush Jr drinking history. At the end of the day what he does at work is what bothers me. Incidentally the time frame that you mention, late 60s and early 70s, was the time when Arnie Swaznegger was smoking joint on televsion. I am sure as a musclehead you know about that. Guess which party he belongs to.

Again for the records, I didnt care about Bush's drinking or Arnie's smoking history. I am interested in their action in White house.

And you're right, McCain does impress... so who are you voting for???

Easy answer for that is that I cant vote, I am not a USA citizen.

Deeper answer is that I greatly respect McCain. If I could vote I would vote for Obama-Biden because I can see how bad Republicans have been for the past 8 years and so that goes against McCain. However if the clock could turn and this was 2000, I would vote for McCain over Al Gore, and certainly above George Bush.

I still maintain John McCain in 2000 was probably USA's best bet for President in last 25 years, sadly didnt happen.

Do I have to spell this out for you??

.... I was surprised to see him criticize his own party as well, which I personally liked seeing.....
It was not a surprise. I considered it a political necessity. If he ever wanted to be regarded as a viable agent for change, or ever wanted to convey the notion that his administration (if he gets elected) would not be a continuation of Mr. Bush's eight years, then he inevitably had to cast his party in the mold he did.

....Everyone knows that he is not great at scripted speeches.....

You make this sound as if it were something one could be proud of. Personally, I think every ambitious politician, especially a politician aspiring to become the President of the USA, should not only be able to deliver scripted speeches with relative ease, but should also be able to give logically sound and tightly-knit speeches spontaneously.

First of all... drinking and weed are two completely different things... but I'm sure you know that. Second of all, you don't think people knew it was bad back then!!!!???? What does that say about his judgment if he's so easily influenced, huh? We don't need an easily influenced socialist running the U.S.A. ok? Speaking of judgment... what's up with him spending 20 years in a radical racist church? And then he goes and picks Joe Biden who before said, directing to Obama whom he didn't support, that "this is no time for on the job training." Wow... more bad judgment. Wait a second... let's continue on his poor judgment. He thinks that he can talk to radical leaders of other countries without preconditions!!???? I encourage all liberals to see the world in reality. These people are truly insane!! They don't give a damn what you say... or they wouldn't be killing all these innocent people for the fun of it!!! I mean what the heck. And as for you saying that you care what they do in the White House... well what has Obama done in the Capital??? This man is all bark and no bite... granted a soft cushy bark... but still.

McCain is bad at scripted speeches, however he gives excellent spontaneous speeches. Obama is the opposite, he gives very compelling scripted speeches, but he often misspeaks, misquotes facts, and stutters when speaking spontaneously.

They both have their strengths and weaknesses. If the debates have "curveball" questions, Obama is in trouble and McCain will walk all over him.

If they ask the same old garbage questions, or Obama knows the questions ahead of time, Obama may have the upper hand.

It all comes down to who is asking the questions, just like in the Hillary-Barry debates.

Agreed. Gotta love the part when McCain said "my dear friends, friends... please don't be diverted by the ground and the static." ROFL. :D Don't tell me that one was scripted. LOL.

First of all... drinking and weed are two completely different things...
I have my doubts. Depending on your perspective, you could determine "drinking" as worse, even though both could lead to serious behavioural dysfunctions. Many people that grew up when Mr. Obama did also tried "weed", yet it did not stop them from making impressive carriers in business and politics. Some bodybuilding role-models that ended up as powerful Republican governors in the US also had a stint with weeds. That did not seem to have harmed their chances.

... What does that say about his judgment if he's so easily influenced, huh?
It is always easy to condemn others in retrospect. How many of us went through life as young men and women without being influenced by our peers and our environment. Does that necessarily have to compromise our judgment in later life?

We don't need an easily influenced socialist running the U.S.A. ok?

This is an enormously strong conclusion based on extremely weak premises!

Speaking of judgment... what's up with him spending 20 years in a radical racist church? And then he goes and picks Joe Biden who before said, directing to Obama whom he didn't support, that "this is no time for on the job training." Wow... more bad judgment. Powerful generalizations here! Any ardent Obama supporter can equally pick out inconsistencies in McCain's judgment and problem-solving skills.

I do not necessarily agree with your statement that "Obama is the opposite, he gives very compelling scripted speeches, but he often misspeaks, misquotes facts, and stutters when speaking spontaneously." McCain is equally prone to such mishaps. I personally look forward to the Obama-McCain debate. As long as they focus on the issues of importance to Americans and do not get personal, it will be hard to imagine Obama would show more weakness.

Here's Obama with the teleprompter out of order at a town hall meeting:

Obviously, unless the same thing happened to McCain, there's now way to know how he'd react, but it does show how much Barry relies on the teleprompter.

It is a GREAT difference.

If Obama was smoking a joint AT THE SAME TIME McCain was being tortured, it paints the picture of Obama being a completely callous person, while McCain comes out as a Patriot.

(This has been proved incorrect already by me).

If your argument is only that Obama smoked a joint, well he wont be the first person in the USA to do so. So I find it quite a irrelevant argument. I have already answered this via my examples on Bush and Arnie. I leave it up to you to take it up or not.

One was beaten brutally protecting our country... the other smoked joints. Do I have to spell this out for you??

Hmmm by that same token George Bush is an absconder with drinking problems. So let me hear whats your assessment is about George Bush Jr..and also Arnie.

Wait help me understand what do you mean by being easily "influenced"? Are you saying that anyone who has smoked pot gets "influenced" easily?

We don't need an easily influenced socialist running the U.S.A. ok?

Prove it how Obama is a Socialist.

Speaking of judgment... what's up with him spending 20 years in a radical racist church?

I am with you on this one. I would like to know as well what stopped Obama from moving to another church. No disagreement here.

And then he goes and picks Joe Biden who before said, directing to Obama whom he didn't support, that "this is no time for on the job training."

Is thats anything new?? Didnt Ronald Reagan pick George Bush Sr as his first mate? Did Kennedy pick Lyndon Johnson even though the two absolutely hated each other? You are suggesting as if Obama is the first one who is actually trying to win the election here.

He thinks that he can talk to radical leaders of other countries without preconditions!!????

Funny you say that. Only yesterday Conddie Rice was meeting Libyan leaders. This leader was once termed "Mad dog of Middle East" by Reagan.

Last week US officials were busy meeting Iran.

Clearly diplomacy works. And its high time you, as well as others like you, understood that.

Diplomacy is nothing without a strong military and economic strength. If you have nothing that the other country can gain from you or nothing to make the another country fear you, nobody wants to talk to you.

And before you change the subject, address my statements and explain why they are untrue with facts, not generalizations.

Wait, are you telling me that your making an excuse for Obama!!! We don't need a "typical kid" to hold the most important job in the world that affects all of our lives. And as for the "really? what?" part, it's no wonder you didn't hear... I suppose the left wing media has done a good job of hiding that little tid-bit of info.
so in essence, drug use and drinking (which is a drug) offends you? So I guess George W. should not be in the white house. Hell, Cindy McCain should not be allowed near the white house.

I think it is time you grow up a bit. Most, if not all of our politicians have "dabbled" a bit, to me there is nothing wrong with it. Hell, our current president has been arrested for DUI.

I still maintain John McCain in 2000 was probably USA's best bet for President in last 25 years, sadly didnt happen.

xxxx
I actually agree here. I was a fervent supporter of McCain in 2000, and was horrified at the depiction of him at the hands of the Bush/Cheney contingent

Good points. Teddy Roosevelt put it another way "Speak softly and carry a big stick."

Yes and they are losing sleep over you not losing sleep. Hilarious!!!

Read up this thread when you have time. You have posters suggesting USA is most disliked(and hence most attacked) country by definition in the world. So make up your mind as to how most people have a goodwill or not.

You don't seem to understand that I could care less. What you think of the US means nothing to me. Its just another confused foreigner who thinks they know what they are talking about.

Sound sound like a classic liberal.

Problem from where? Mexico? That's illegal immigration my friend. If legal immigration was an issue you wont have tons of "Specialized" immigration a la H1B to bring "qualified" people in. Please do your homework on this.

Actually, overall immigration has risen in the last 30 years both legally and illegally. H1B visas are but a minuscule fraction. Currently the mount of legal immigrant application is so high it takes 6-12 years to get through the system...so I hate to disappoint you, but people still love coming here. :D

By the way I find it hilarious that a country that promotes itself as "land of immigrants" has its citizens howling about immigration!!!

I don't promote anything. If you go through the system legally, I have no issue.

Who is howling other than you?

Hahahaha..You asked for Goodwill definition, I gave it and see where it has landed you. A loather of the world.:think: I think you need a shrink mate.

LMAO....I think its you who is the loather of the US. Its quite obvious. I simply don't care much about what other countries or foreigners think of us. I know that bothers you.

So how is that answer to my question coming along ace?? Still no answer. Well others who have some knowledge received theirs, you Sir are a complete clueless piece of work and so you can keep ranting.:lol:

I'm still waiting for a question.

Ranting? I'm toying with you because you're fun. You amuse me.

The clueless piece of work had to educate you to the point you keep changing subjects :D

Explained already. Not my mistake if you lack comprehension skills.

hehe....you can do better than that little man, but thats fine. You've shown that your knowledge doesn't expand past wikipedia.

And you fail to see that if you dont have same rules in 2 countries, one will make products cheaper. In this case its China, and Americans are losing jobs over it. Please feel free to listen to McCain when he says he wants to bring job back.

Actually, he says he wants to create new ones based on new technology. He said the ones that are gone, are gone and not coming back. His words. Listen much?

And please step off that hot bag please. Get some substance in your arguments this time.

I must have succeeded since you changed the subject about 6 times already wiki warrior! :D

Its OK to lose..you'll win someday! :D

Huh?? Are you confused or what?

This is what you wrote, and I quote(your exact words) - Obama was admittedly smokin' joints the same time McCain was getting tortured for our country. I have shown you exactly how your statement is completely wrong factually.

What proof is that? is there some magic that says he couldn't have possibly smoked a joint at 12 years old? I did...

And for another point, talking about the opinion other countries have, in Africa george bush is treated as a hero to the point where many children are named bush. So maybe you can talk about their feelings towards the US in europe, and the middle east, but you were off on mentioning africa.
