18 pounds in 10 weeks? Admit it...you are putting Havoc in his formula.that reminds me, now that we are done with the pregnancy, i can actually try SP![]()
So christine, for your laughter sake, david was born 10 or 11 weeks ago, at 8lbs 6oz or so, now at 10 weeks he right about 18lbs. thats over top of chart for a 4 month old. luckily his height is also over the top of chart too.....
Whoops forgot to add in Fris arm day..Ah well.
Leg day
Started with 10 per leg of single legged squats with 20 jumping jack lunges stationary. Did our 4 sets here.
Then we did weighted alternating step ups for 15 per leg with walking lunges from one end of gym and back for 3 sets.
Then we did extensions at 75lbs for 10 reps with 40lb dumbell straight legged deads for 4 sets.
Then we did weighted pop squats for 15 reps with walking pump lunges from one end to the other and walked back for 4 sets.
Then we did single legged extensions for 10 per leg. I started at 50 lbs and could do it easily with my right leg but that stupid left knee just killed. I could get the weight up 3/4 of the way then even lowering it back down hurt. She could see the actual pain on my face so she dropped me to 40 for the remaining 3 sets. We did more deads with these sets. There were 4 total.
Then we did walking non weighted lunges to one end of the gym and on the way back we did backwards walking lunges. Backwards sucks, throws your balance off and just looked plain gay!
Then I did 4 sets of 90lb calves at 15 reps a set. I still have energy left so for cardio I'm doing 1 Levi Reloaded and mowing front and back lawn!!! Woohooo, I HATE to mow. And the mower is NOT self propelled and the handle is broken to sit low..I will be a hot grouchy girl when I'm done![]()
We have all but the Gators here! At least they are big enough you won't run over them. And I imagine if they chase you and you run the grass will get mowed fster![]()
out biking the other day my daughter ran over a water mocassin
out biking the other day my daughter ran over a water mocassin
Did he take your sunglasses with him...cuz, that would be so cool.it was really comical actually. I was carrying a 12 pack of coke in one hand while biking, and had my sunglasses on the top of my head. I was a couple hundred feet in front of my daughter, and we were going over one of the wood walkway bridges that connect sidewalk pieces. I saw the tail of the snake, wasn't sure what it was so I slowed down and steered to avoid it, but went wobbly cause I was holding the coke, avoided him but the sunglasses fell off. I went a good 30 feet further then stopped and looked back, the glasses were maybe 2 feet from him and I realized it was a water mocassin. as my daughter got closer I yelled "look out, dont run over my glasses or the snake" and she managed to run over both insteadthe real comedy was the snake tho. my daughter stopped by me and we looked back at the snake, he raised his head and looked around with a sort of "what the hell just happened" and then bolted off into the woods as fast as he could go.
Then we did 50 mountain climbers on our dumbells with 6 rotating front raises for 4 sets.
That sounds awesome...and something I might be trying later on today![]()
Let me know if you do and how you ilke it.
And how many people around you point and laugh.

lol. yeah, some of those moves might be great for training but are only socially acceptable to do in an organized group.
Could you imagine a class full of people doing burpees?
A conditioning routine that is popular on various training sites is the '100 challenge' in which you time yourself doing 100 burpees (full push up, squat thrust and jump) with the aim of reducing timings and increasing overall conditioning. Anything sub-10 minutes is considered a good level of conditioning with people even breaking the 5 minute barrier. A popular Mixed Martial Arts website Sherdog is one place where for such a challenge is ongoing Sherdog.net Conditioning Forums
A race to 100 burpees is occasionally used to settle disputes between inmates in high security prisons.
One prisoner in Pelican Bay has been known to perform 1000 burpees in an hour.
you'll find a class like that in prison...

I am either jealous, or reading that wrong.I trained one on one with her.
Woke up with a migraine throwing up..sigh, yuck. It just so happened to be the day that I promised to take the kids to the fair..So I sucked it up, hit the meds and rolled on.
We did 3 hrs in the sun walking with a 105 heat index, got a little sweat time in there. Went straight to the gym, hit 13 min of cardio.
We started on the cable machine and did centered double bicep curls at 30 lbs for 15 reps , 4 sets.
Then we did wide grip bar tricep pushdowns 60lbs for 15 reps. 4 sets. We supersetted it with a 40 lb bar curls for 10.
We then moved on to dumbells, we did , huh wait whats this we stuff, I did laying presses for 15 and triple setted it with 10 per arm on supenated curls and then did 15 seated knee raises for abs. We did 4 sets here also.
Then I did 10 tricep bench pushups and 10 per arm on seated alternating curls for 4 sets.
We did a bunch of other things, discussed her show and how kick ass she looksand now i'm about to hit the last half of the fair for another 3 hrs of walking!! woohoo!
Hey Maceman! I am super swole!!![]()

wow, that shows some dedication!
More so to my kids, if you promise them you are going to do something you suck it up and do it.
I'm dedicated to the gym and transforming my body though. Hard to do it when you feel bad though.
haha you've been on probation twice, once for a drunk driving accident, and you're quitting drinking to train harder?
I'm sorry..that just sounded funny![]()
its so hard to say. its made from wormwood, and contains a chemical that does a little bit of odd stuff to the brain, but i'm not really sure its that big a deal chemically, I think its more the placebo effect plus the whole ritual that goes along with it enhancing that. its a fun drink for sure![]()
Today and tomorrow are workout with Matt days as Natalie could not handle coming in second so she flew to Vegas to try again.
We did a mainly chest oriented workout, but I supersetted it with something constantly. I got in abs and some back and some arms with a tiny bit of legs. I'm looking to do the same tomorrow with a bunch of cardio.
I still am feeling sick and having headaches so I'm hoping to get over that soon. On a good note the 2 days of throwing up knocked 3lbs off meI just need to keep the protein up and keep plugging away!

I agree 100% with your resolution to keep on pluggin' away!! Most people will just skip when they're feeling a little under the weather. I force myself to go through with it. And I always feel better about myself after the ordeal is over!! Way to persevere crader!! :thumbsup:I still am feeling sick and having headaches so I'm hoping to get over that soon. Ohhhh, that sucks! seems like I always get sick when I'm training really hard...kills progress!
are you taking anything to boost your immune system?
I was considering the deal for orange triad to get something to help with this problem.
regardless, keep up the great work and dedication!
