ok finishing my shake as we speak, and had a natty pb and j on wheat with it. interesting taste concoction. good arm workout today
standing alternating curls (4 sets) 45-50lbs
rope pulldowns (4 sets) 110lbs
seated incline curls (4 sets) 40lbs
v-bar pulldowns (4 sets) 140lbs
1-arm preacher db (4 sets) 45lbs
skull crushers (4 sets) 110-130lbs
bb curls (4 sets) 95-115lbs
1-arm reverse pulldowns (4 sets) 50lbs
glass hammers (4 sets) 45lbs
great, great pump. felt strong. I am hoping that using RR's advice and eating while taking the shake will help. still enjoying the flavor, which usually does not happen with me unless it is chocolate. Have been keeping my diet very strict in hopes of seeing some great results from this within the month. Will be hitting cardio later today
much better, no issue today out of the ordinary. Which is certainly a positive.
If it works out well for you, im going to look into a bottle myself. The only problem is the taste...lol
its does grow on you a bit. At first its good to ok, now it is quite tasty. Odd
Had a nice back workout this am
BTN neutral pulldowns (5 sets) 180lbs
BB Rows (5 sets) 205lbs
Seated Cable Rows (5 sets) 210lbs
Back Extensions (5 sets) 170-190lbs
Barn Doors (5 sets) 60lbs
2 arm db rows (5 sets) 60lbs
I like throwing in the 2 arm db rows, as they are a pain to do, and the balancing act is quite an exercise in futility at times. Had my shake, tasted good and feel pretty good at the moment. I might be able to get in some cardio later. I am being picked up around 1pm today for the bbq, (my wife and daughter wont be there till around 6pm). So hopefully sometime bbefore then I might get some time
it is an intersting exercise, but you are correct, the squeeze is awesome. I like finishing with it, and supersetting down the weights.Good workout my friend! I love throwin in the 2 arm DB rows as well, it's easier to squeeze your back then with a BB. Enjoy your 4th, have a fun and safe time
No sh*t!! Everybody's been talking about all the cheat sh*t they ate yesterday. I didn't stray one bit from my diet though!! ha ha I'm lookin' lean and feelin' mean this morning!! Ooooh Yeah!!:aargh: THE THUNDERGOD:hammer:I'm gettin hungry now...![]()
the actualy dinner aspect I didnt cheat, all varieties of chicken. However, when dessert was taken out, I had to try the cake my sister made (it did have blueberries and rasberries damnit). No sh*t!! you are right, its funny it takes time to get it down to where you feel comfortable with it. evidently there is a science to drinking gf.Nice. I had a pretty good shoulder workout today too. I did some of the barbell raises, where you grip the bar in the middle and bring it up along you chest to shoulder height. I finally got my log up , I started this a few days ago since I had a Golden Finish already here. I've finally got the mixing thing down pat too; put the GF in first is a big no-no lol. I don't know why it took me 3 tries to realize that.
thanks guys, its been fun thus far. really like the product, and amazingly the taste is really working for me. I always get concerned that the flavor will grow out of favor, but evidently not the case hear
thanks man, it has been fun thus far. I am enjoying itAgreed. Hell I'm drinking some GF now and it's breakfast time... I'm addicted!! HELP!!! lol
Nice shoulder workout yesterday...log is going great bro keep up the awesome work
Killer workout Reaper!! Keep rockin' it hard!! :head: THE THUNDERGOD:hammer:It is a def worth pick up. I will be grabbing some when I am done with this log.
Here is the afternoon of arms
Standing Alternating curls (4 sets) 45lbs
VBar pushdowns (4 sets) 140lbs
Temple Curls (4 sets) 50-60lbs
2arm DB extensions (4 sets) 85lbs
Seated incline curls (4 sets) 40lbs
1arm pulldowns (4 sets) 50lbs
1arm db preacher (4 sets) 55lbs
Close grip bp (4 sets) 225lbs
felt good and strong. decided to go out on a limb for the close grip as it usually bothers my shoulders, but it felt good and ready to roll. Had a hell of a pump as well
got in some early morning cardio
35 minutes 15% 4.4mph
will be able to increase the minutes tomorrow, I had to cut it short this am as I have to be into work by 7am and its a 45 minutes commute. We be back this afternoon for some back width
And I'm getting ready to hit the ol' rowing machine!! Let's get our early-bird cardio on!!:head: THE THUNDERGOD:hammer:Diggin the early AM Cardio, bro !! Keep it up; seeing others do cardio like this really helps me/motivates me to hit it hard in the AM, as well ! I'm about to hit up the Stairmaster for 50 minutes myself in just about four minutes![]()
you guys are dedicated! Getting up before 10 am kills me but I gotta be at work by 8am every morning...
I am definitely not a morning person!
agree on all counts. If I miss a morning, I feel (and it is so psychosematic) bloated and cranky. I am such a little girl evidently. It does become a matter of pride that I wont let the tired aspect beat meIt takes a while getting used to, that's all. But it's a great feeling to be doing cardio in the morning. I swear by feeling more awake and alert throughout the day upon completion of an AM cardio session.
Give it a go, I think you'd be surprised.
Oh, and then there's the pride.. which I firmly believe is a factor. I need results, I need them fast, and I need to see progress at the very least. Hence, AM cardio is a necessity !
tried something different for back, did more of a giant set routine
BTN pulldowns (5 sets) 150-180lbs
Barn doors (5 sets) 60lbs
Neutral pulldowns (5 sets) bw
Wide grip cable rows(5 sets) 180lbs
Back extensions (5 sets) 170lbs
Underhand pulldowns (5 sets) 180lbs
I gotta say I got a nice burn and pump out of it. I always like to try something different and this was a nice change of pace

I like deads, however they dont like me, unless done on a smith machine. I seem to pull my right rhomboid out of whack every time without fail. It was a former injury (tore it in high school), so it seems to be overly sensitive.Lots of sets you got for back there, bro ! Keep that $hit up !!
You mentioned you wanted to try something different - hence the giant set routine; try to begin incorporating some heavy deads as the first exercise in your routine. I swear, not enough people have reaped all its benefits, and instead left the exercise in the dust ! It's the be-all/end-all in terms of attaining that feeling of invincibility, because you'll find yourself adding another plate week after week after week . . .you get the picture !
