Please man.....i know whiplash is your obvious choice and a good one it is.:D Hey when tour dates are released we're hitting up a few shows no doubt kid. I've heard a few instrumental songs from the new album and they sound a lot more like the old stuff....trust me!

Wheres seek and destroy??

SEARCHIN!!!

SEEK AND DESTROY!

I love the version on Live Sh*t, all 18 minutes and 8 seconds of it. Lowers the mic in to the crowd for the kids to scream seek and destroy.

But I have to stick to my guns and Creeping Death, again, from Live Sh*t.

I'll have to agree.....live metallica is just unreal! "Adrenaline starts to flow......you're thrashing all around........acting like a maniac......WHIPLASH!!"

Amen sir. I need to start bringing my music with me to the gym. The pump I'd get from ANY Metallica song would be incredible. Just thinking about it makes me want to break in tonight and lift heavy things. :head:

Agreed, there just seems to be that metallica/anabolic connection. I can honestly say i attribute their music to motivating me through many workouts. Trip will tell you metallica has always been our approved choice for heavy lifting sessions and b*tchin parties! :head::cheers:

METALLICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seek N Destroy WTC mix. F*cking gets me fired up. WTC is World Trade Center mix. If you don't have it, you should download it. Also Don't Tread on Me has a WTC mix as well.

D and J, you should totally show up in Cleveland and We'll ALL go! :head:

how can you pick a favorite metallica song?

Sounds like a plan mace. I definatley plan on seeing them a few times this summer. I still have my "metal up your a**" teeshirt. We'd be a quite the headbanging trio lol :head:

It is tough to pick a favorite, but master of puppets charges me like no other for some reason.

I'd have to go with Unforgiven. I used to have a crazy girlfriend who loved to screw to the black album played really loud. irritated my neighbors but too bad ;)

Well metallica loves to play in tampa E, if so we're there brother!

I still remember when I first heard that album when I was 8 years old. I was the only kid into metal that I knew.

The first time i ever heard "One" is a day i'll remember. What an anthem that defines the excellence of metallica!

In wilndness is the preservation of the world
So seek the wolf in thyself....

...and forget about NO boosters:woohoo:

1990, I was 6 years old. My dad had the black album. I was hooked.

I really like the track "To Live Is To Die" On Justice for All. I love that whole album, too bad they cut the bass out because it all sounds a little flat.

" When a Man Lies He Murders
Some Part of the World
These Are the Pale Deaths Which
Men Miscall Their Lives
All this I Cannot Bear
to Witness Any Longer
Cannot the Kingdom of Salvation
Take Me Home." -Cliff Burton

Awsome track!

The "Jump In The Fire" EP was my first and favorite. so yeah "Seek and Destroy"!

Orion = my favorite.

I'm partial though, my band played that song all the time.

Master of Puppets - CLASSIC!!
Justice For All - CLASSIC!!
Black - ehh..:whiner:

just my opinion, but the haven't been the same since Justice. Enter Sandman was... OK...

I did hear a track on XM a while back, not sure how old/new it is.. "So Fu#$ing What" Funny song, but it still jams.

They had me at Kill Em All and lost me after the Black album.

Master of Puppets and Justice are two of the best albums of all time from any band IMHO.

No way I could pick a favorite song.

Sad But True or One.
I also love their instrumentals and wished they did more of them. Orion...

These instrumentals were DEFINATELY the first 2 songs that came to mind for lifting :head:

My favorite Metallica song to play on my guitar is Fade to Black.

X2 on playing Fade to Black. That first solo I love.

That's a live cover called "So What." I'm pretty sure it's in the pinge n purge boxed set. It's an amusing song but not a highlight IMO. Do a search for Metallica and Charlie Brown. Newstead plays the theme during one of his live bass solos... not THAT is some funny shiit

my vote is for "One"... I was a getting to be a metallica fan, then i heard that particular song and have been hooked ever since (mainly pre-90's metallica)

I swear I'm not a pussy I just really like Nothing Else Matters.
When I saw them live and they played it and all the lighters went up it was good times. When the fireworks and stuff went off during One it was ridiculous, I could feel the heat. Great live show, definitely would see them again.
