Pct day 12

Scheduled rest day. Had a blast at the water park yesterday. Got a lot of compliments on how swole I looked! :D Chest/bis created quite the pump for the day!

Weight 180 +5.5

Weight is maintaining nicely and rest days are working to my benefit. Strength today on shoulders/back was up slightly and I felt incredible once again. Really, really happy with the way everything is progressing. Finished with 10 minutes of incline speed walk.

Yeah water parks can be fun. Although in Houston there are a lot of big dudes it becomes apparent in a place like a water park how many Meat-heads there are in our area!

Hit legs today. Strength was down very slightly and I didn't have quite as much energy and endurance. First day since pct started that I didn't feel amazing. Managed to have decent day overall but just felt a bit off.

Got news that I will be on 12 hour shifts every other day. I may have to squeak in quick workouts at my apartment complexes fitness center here and there. Severely limits what I can do but I can probably hit biceps and back with the equipment they have.

Hit legs today. Strength was down very slightly and I didn't have quite as much energy and endurance. First day since pct started that I didn't feel amazing. Managed to have decent day overall but just felt a bit off.

Got news that I will be on 12 hour shifts every other day. I may have to squeak in quick workouts at my apartment complexes fitness center here and there. Severely limits what I can do but I can probably hit biceps and back with the equipment they have.

I feel you on the 12s man. Not very fun. Literally after work I train eat then bed no time for tv or relaxing just doing what you have to do.

I work 12 hours (at least) on Wed, Thurs, Fri. This is why I've adopted an early workout schedule because otherwise I wouldn't make it to the gym.
 
I would just switch up programs to something you can lift on off days. A really intense full body 3 times a week would be money with that schedule. Something like the my Warrior workout or HST would fit the bill during that time and allow you to keep adding muscle.

STILL hitting PRs... deep into pct even. I have to admit that how my PCT will go is a bit scary for me because so many people have different experiences. But seeing how good yours is going makes me feel better.

You will be just fine brother! Your support group You built up tremendously and you have the drive to push through and make pct your beotch! I quite regularly break PRs and progress in pct for many reasons. Hard work, dedication, drive support from my bros and dropping a boat load on my supplements for pct! :)

You will kill it. The key is mainly mental for me. I mentally challenge myself to step up my game when I start pct. I convince myself I will not fail or fall back and all the pieces fall right into place. It is amazing what someone can do when they find the mental clarity and put all excuses to rest. My diet is cleaner but I'm eating way more food. I'm determined to hit my protein plus some. For instance today one snack/meal I had 3 packs of tuna fish a Greek yogurt and peach. Peach was just a treat to cap it off as I'm a sweet tooth. Another meal was 4 eggs, 2 packs of tuna and mixed peanuts. I'm hitting far more calories then I had in my cycle and it is really showing in and out of the gym. Energy and strength sky rocket when I get my food in check.

Pct day 20

Weight 180.5 +6

Had an amazing shoulder/tris day. Tied strength from last week on all lifts but did a bit more substance since I didn't do back with shoulders today. My routine will be off for the next while because of my extended days at work. Just doing what I can to keep up and keep in the gym. Weight is up which was no shock I have been destroying food and my diet wasn't as tight over the weekend. Everything is still going smoothly and I'm extremely impressed all around!

Did I happen to mention how off the chain it was when I decided to make avacado tuna salad? I used half an avacado instead of mayo and it was the bomb! Added some spiciness and pico de gayo and was in heaven!

Thanks Kleen! No I didn't mix them. Not sure how that would taste! Sounds like a weird combo haha. That avocado and tuna sounds pretty damn goo actually may have to try it.
 
Pct day 21

Planned on hitting biceps before my 12 hour shift today but woke up a bit late so took an off day. Started getting slight pain on the right side of my abdomen near my hip. Was worried it was my appendix but after talking to some family members it sounds like it could be kidney stones.

Weight took a dive for some strange reason. Makes no sense as I'm eating around 4k+ cals right now. Hit chest/bis and had a pretty good day overall. Strength was on par but I did feel like I was dragging ass at the beginning of the workout. I have a few days off coming up so hopefully I can get back to killing some PRs.
 
Well if you were trying to move a kidney stone you probably produced a lot of extra urine to flush it out. That would explain the weight loss.

Yeah the yogurt and tuna combo doesn't exactly sound awesome but I bet it isn't that bad either. So many yogurt based sauces and what not. I am sure there is a way to make it good.

Sorry for the lack of updates brothers. Had an amazing weekend with family and friends. Still made it to the gym 3 out of the last 4 days and strength is still rising. Weight is down to 177.5 but I'm looking lean and ripped still. Diet has been so-so but I have been getting some dirty calories especially yesterday at cedar point. I was eating constantly all day but they had nothing good for you haha.

Man my wifes been driving me nuts about going to ceder point before the fall hits. I enjoy going up there but cant stand the hour long lines for 3 minutes of fun lol

Still having the pains and did you figure out what it was?
Yes I have been still having them but they have been few and far between. My mom told me to cut potassium and see If that helps and I've been pretty good so far. She had the same thing happen from bananas after eating them daily for years. Now she can't even eat them.

These extra hours at work and lack sleep seem to be catching up with me. Weight seems to be hanging right around the same spot even though I have stayed right around 4000-4500 calories. Quite discouraging but I'll keep it going.
