Yellow Gold = Nastiest stuff I've ever tasted

I got my first dose down, but the 2nd literally made me projectile vomit... Needless to say, I got on NP.com and ordered a capping kit.... Thank god USP decided to cap this product for us, it seriously tastes like rotting death, and the aftertaste is horrible. I should smack myself for trying to down it without capping it after reading everyone elses taste experience... Onward with the DNA, and I'll start the YG up when I get my capping kit hopefully mid week.

I had the same vomit problem when I tried to get HMB down without capping. I ain't touchin that stuff until I get a capping kit with my next order.

forskolin isn't that bad, imo... infact i haven't really had a problem with any of the bulk powders i've tried, and i really like the way yg taste.

I'm pretty much the same way, even managed to down Rhodiola, but that was fairly tough and took a long time to get use to. My suggestion is that you start your first ever bulk powder experience with RR, then everything else is just a passing thought.

YG is like ice cream, compared to some cactus extracts I've tried.

Take a 1/4 tsp scoop of YG, drop it in your mouth, and wash it down with water... It' really isn't that bad. Then again, dropping a 1/4 tsp in distilled water, mixing it up, and washing it down isn't all that bad either.

If I can do it, anybody can. I have a very low "gag" tolerance.

It's not that bad, but the weirdest of the powders Ive tasted (I was trying to get people to taste that stuff hehe). Bulk Rhodiola I was fine with that as well earthy/woodsy taste. Its funny when people complain about the taste of CEE or ALCAR now those actually taste great Hmmm tangy.

Acetyl l-carnitine was the worst I ever tasted. It tasted the way dead, fermented cats smell. The ones that died with a full bladder, too.

Since cap-m-quicks are dirt cheap, it amazes me to hear of people still swallowing powders raw.

I chased YG last night with some Schezchuan Chicken the hottest they could make it (they ask for a # for hotness, I always get the 10). I eat stuff that can melt paint off of cars and I still tasted the YG in the morning when I woke up. Even scope wouldn't get rid of the after-taste. Now THAT's some staying power.

I think this takes the cake for the longest any nasty taste has stayed present in my mouth.

I've had genuine Szechuan hotpot, in Szechuan, that was so hot the cook kept coming out to see if the crazy westerner really was eating it. If YG can survive an assault like that, I really, really, REALLY hope a capsule never busts open in my mouth.

Yeah, it's pretty amazingly bad. So bad in fact, that upon first inspection, it's amusing. Of course after the 'oh cool it tastes worse than death' wears off, you quickly have to find the will power to do it again.

Chasing with hot coffee or hot water, and mixing it in warm water seems to help quite a bit. It's still not perfect though. I put YG in a holding pattern until I can cap that stuff!
