y-rd, prime and alcohol

How would y-rd and prime interact with alcohol? is it dangerous

Never a good idea to mix concentrated stimulants (Y-RD) with alcohol (depressant). That being said, I gave my bottle of Y-RD to my buddy a few weeks ago. A bunch of my friends pop 1 or 2 before we go out on weekends to get them amped up. The've been pretty hammered and I can't report any notable interactions.

In general, one should avoid alcohol, or take it in moderation, if at all. As you know, the consumption of alcohol triggers the production of two highly reactive and toxic metabolites, malondialdehyde and acetaldehyde. These potent free-radical agents produce a chain of effects that range from compromising of liver function to central-nervous-system damage (mostly via accumulation of alcohol in nerve cells leading to (diabetic) neuropathy), and immune-system problems. Although taking compounds such as N-Acetyl-Cysteine (with three times more Vitamin C prevent N-Acetyl-Cysteine oxidation), Grape Seed Extract/Silymarin/Resveratrol (for hepatic support and antioxidant shield), and Benfotiamine, fat-soluble Vitamin B1 [(Thiamine) for blood sugar support and protection from oxidative stress] may help alleviate related problems, alcohol use with Y-RD and PRIME is hardly justified. Alcohol may neutralize the broad effects (CNS and beyond) from Y-RD and neutralize the anti-oxidant impact of PRIME. Furthermore, as is well known, (excessive) alcohol impairs fertility via reduction in testosterone production and inhibition of sperm production and sperm function. On top of this, alcohol stimulates estrogen receptor sites, including estradiol, one of the most potent forms of estrogen. This is especially observable in cases of existing gynecomastia. Alcohol, on its own, under certain conditions, can produce gynecomastia.

I must say the prevalence of gyno in the population still surprises me. Some estimates put it as high as 15% (Invalid Link Removed ) !

Excellent post!! very informative!

like all health enthusiasts on this board i try to stay clear of alcohol as much as possible but every now and then its unavoidable for those of us with a social life :) but at least i know what i could take to reduce the damage when those occasions arrive! Was thinking a cap or 2 of novedex xt or some activate xtreme, pre and post drinking could help with test reduction/estradiol increase issues???

:drunk:

i am using prime and YRD and I drink a glass of wine with dinner every night. The effects of these products are still working on me. I would not however call that "drinking" as i'm only drinking a glass to get the health benefits from doing so.
